Hi there,
Kalium 4 includes the Gutenberg, Elementor & WPbakery starter sites such as the Medical template you mentioned. On ThemeForest, only Kalium 3 is sold (as indicated in the product name), which is why the Elementor version is not available there, but an older version which only supports WPBakery.
You can purchase the latest version (Kalium 4) directly from our site: https://kaliumtheme.com/pricing/You can get a refund for this purchase by submitting refund request to Envato support https://themeforest.net/refund_requests/new
Hello,
I have a presale question regarding the “Architecture” template. I noticed that the layout and design elements change depending on the page builder selected (Elementor vs. WPBakery).
Specifically, when switching between them, the logo style changes from “Kalium + Architects” to “Kalium Architects” with a building graphic. Is it possible to maintain the specific look/layout of the Elementor version while using the WPBakery page builder?
(https://sites.kaliumtheme.com/gutenberg/architecture/)
Thank you in advance for your help!
Hi there,
These are actually two different designs. The WPBakery version of the Architecture starter site is much older, while the Elementor and Gutenberg versions were redesigned later and have a more updated layout and styling. Because of this, the logo and some design elements are different between them.
The newer look you are seeing is available in the Elementor and Gutenberg versions only.
P.S. If you purchase Kalium from ThemeForest you will receive the older version (Kalium 3). If you purchase directly from our website, you will get the latest version of Kalium, just to let you know.
Best regards,
Art
Thank you very much for your prompt response to my request.
Best regards, Β.
Please update the demo websites. For example, the wedding demo is nothing like the preview.
Hello, is the documentatioon related to Kalium 3 still valid? It says the theme is translated into Slovak, but i still see some texts in English. E.g. “no more portfolio items to show”, “ALL”, “Search site …”. I’ve installed Loco plugin, but can’t identify these strings.
Got it, I had to press synchronise in Loco.
Hi there,
Yes, the documentation for Kalium 3 is still valid.
If your site language is already set to Slovak in WordPress > Settings > General, then you just need to download the theme translations from Dashboard > Updates, where you will see the option to update or install the available translation files.
Also, if you are using a child theme, make sure to translate the strings in the main Kalium theme using Loco Translate, not in the child theme. Otherwise those strings will not be found or applied.

When can I expect an update for this version?
Hi there.
We were notified by Wordfence about this, but when we reached out to them for details so we could verify and fix the issue, they never replied back. We’ve been waiting for their clarification for two weeks now and we just sent them a follow-up message again.
As soon as we receive the exact information from them, we’ll address it immediately and push an update.
Any updates for this updates. Been 2 weeks now.
The update with the fix for this (version 3.30) will be released today.
I have Kalium 2.9 and WordPress 6.7.4 version installed. Ever since I upgraded Wordpress a long time ago the Laborator theme options have stopped working.
All I want to do is change copy in the footer and change the number of Portfolio items shown on my main page. When I asked about this problem in support was told I needed to renew fees support? I am not trying to do anything NEW. Just basic functionality.
And please don’t ask me to upgrade to a newer version of Kalium. I tried Kalium 3.18.3 and 3.29 and they both broke my site even more! Typography changed, buttons became tiny and whole portfolio images simply disappeared!
Hi there,
You’re currently using a very old version of Kalium (2.9), which is over 6 years old. That version is not compatible with the latest WordPress (6.7.4), so it’s expected that the theme options and other parts of the theme won’t work properly anymore.
The correct solution is to update to the latest version of Kalium 3, which is Kalium 3.29. Using an outdated theme with a modern WordPress version will always cause issues.
Also, please understand that support requires an active subscription, even if you’re not trying to add new features. This is clearly stated in our support policy.
Regarding the issues you saw when trying Kalium 3.18.3 or 3.29 — those are not bugs. When updating from a theme version that’s 6+ years old, things like typography, buttons, or layouts may look different, especially if there were customizations made on your site. This is normal when skipping so many major updates.
The basic functionality of the theme works fine in the latest version. If custom code or styling was added on your site in the past, those things will naturally need adjustments after such a large upgrade.
The bugs I see in 3.18.3 or 3.29 are indeed bugs. As I said I tried upgrading both Kalium and Wordpress. The buttons are the default basic and not custom in any way. And adjusting number of portfolio items is a basic functionality. Same with changing copy on footer. WHY would I need to be charged for these?
Hi,
We tested the latest version of Kalium on a clean setup and everything works correctly. Footer text and portfolio item count can be changed from Laborator > Theme Options. If those settings were overridden on the page itself, then they must be changed there instead.
What you are seeing is the result of upgrading from a 6+ year old theme version. Visual changes are expected after skipping that many updates.
Support is not charged based on whether a task feels “basic”. Any assistance, including issues caused by outdated versions or major upgrades, requires an active support subscription. This is clearly stated in our support policy and in Envato itself.
Hi, My support has expired long time ago.. I just wanted to ask you if you have experienced problems after the new Kalium version – It is impossible to login to backend just after updating the theme. It gives an error that begins like this: Warning: Undefined property:
Hi Marie,
Can you please let me know which Kalium version you are currently using when this error happens?
I jus purchased this theme as a pre-built theme: Business, Consulting, Corporate, SaaS, Startups: https://sites.kaliumtheme.com/gutenberg/business/
However, when I go to the Laborator/Demos section, this theme isn’t listed. I’ve attached a screenshot.
Can you help me? It’s somewhat urgent.
About your second question, since you purchased the theme from ThemeForest, you currently have Kalium 3. The Business starter site you mentioned is part of Kalium 4, which is sold exclusively on our website. That’s why you don’t see it under Laborator → Demos in your current version.
If you’d like, we can refund your ThemeForest purchase so you can get Kalium 4 directly from our website instead. Let us know if you’d like to proceed with that.
Yes, give me a refund please, I would really appreciate it
Thank you for your kind response, I have submitted the refund request
Pre purchase question: Why does this theme cost $119 heren and $59 on your website? What’s the difference between buying it on ThemeForest or kaliumtheme.com? Thanks
Hi there,
Regarding your first question, the price difference is because the version sold on ThemeForest is Kalium 3, while the one on our website is Kalium 4, the latest version. Due to ThemeForest’s non-exclusive agreement, we’re required to list it at a higher price ($119), while on our website it’s available for $59.
Hi, I’ve read in the comments below that there is a theme update available (3.29). But on all my themes im stuck at 3.28. I have three separate domains, all the same (licence shows as registered). Clicking check updates does not show the new update.
I should add, on themes that are on 3.27, they only show 3.28 as available.
How could I force it? Kind regards.
Can you please check it out now, if it doesn’t show please click the “Check again” under WordPress > Updates.
Yes, it’s now updating correct. Thanks.
Hello. I’m planning to purchase a theme from your website. Since I’m not sure whether it suits the portfolio style I’m aiming for, I’d like to try the individual $59 annual plan first. I’d like to know if it’s possible to switch to the lifetime plan after purchasing and trying out the $59 annual plan.
Hi there,
Yes, you can upgrade from the $59 annual plan to the lifetime plan anytime. The upgrade will be prorated, which means you’ll only pay the price difference, not the full amount again.
You can learn more about how prorations work here: https://docs.kaliumtheme.com/getting-started/license/prorating-plan-updatesTrying to update Advanced Custom Fields PRO results in the error “Updating Plugin: Advanced Custom Fields PRO Update package not available.”
Hi there,
Please update Kalium to the latest version (3.29) first, then try updating Advanced Custom Fields PRO again. ACF changed something in their API and we adapted to it in this newer theme version.
After updating Kalium:
1. Go to Kalium > Plugins
2. Update Advanced Custom Fields PRO
Thanks, is there a reason I wasn’t notified of the update in WordPress? I was running 3.28.
I’m solving a detail in the Kalium3 theme. Can someone please advise me what I need to do to align the categories to one line? In the Kalium demo “Photography” the categories are nicely aligned to the line, because they are full width, but for me it shrinks them to the right and wraps them one by one, each on a new line. I’ve looked through all the possible theme settings and I haven’t found anything about it anywhere, nor do I see any custom CSS.
Hi there,
For support related to Kalium 3, please contact us directly at https://laborator.ticksy.com. Our support team will assist you there.
Thanks, but my support had expired before I started to use the template. Wouldn’t you help me?
Even the Demo does not work, if you add more categories and remove portfolio description, the style gets wrecked. I’m not CSS guru, for that reason I’ve bougth top rated theme and was in hope in case a SMALL issue (as you’ve said), it can be resolved by the help of support. Such a small support has been declined to me on the very first try. For that reason, the theme is unusable for me.
Hi there,
That’s not true. I just created a temporary WordPress installation, installed Kalium with the Photography demo, and it works exactly as it should — you can see the video here: https://d.pr/v/Qp55BO
Yes, you bought the theme but didn’t use it for almost a year, and now you’re asking for support long after the support period expired. That’s not how support works, and everyone knows it. If we start giving “just small fixes” to everyone, then everyone will claim their issue is a small one.
I’m not giving support because of the way you’re trying to get it — leaving a 1-star review to force help is not the right way to do business.
You’ll need to remove the false review first, it has already been reported to Envato as misleading. Once it’s removed, I’ll be glad to share the solution.
.product-filter .portfolio-subcategory {
right: auto;
left: 0;
}
.product-filter {
text-align: left;
}
.pt-column.pt-filters {
width: 100%;
}
That was really all that needed. Thank you!
I’ve purchased Kalium 3 license last year, but did not use it until now. It seems that is what i need for my portfolio. I’ve created item categories and added some items in it, created portfolio page using the portfolio template.
But when I open the category, or the portfolio page, everything is empty. The single item page works good.
I followed the documentation, but did i miss something?
Found the issue: i did not set the featured graphics.
Happy to hear that, have a great week!
I have had the Kalium license for 10 years. I would like to upgrade to version 4. I have several questions: -1/ You recommend doing this on a pre-production site, which is what I wanted to do, but I cannot put the license on the staging site that I created by cloning my site at my host. I’m not going to buy two licenses! What can I do? -2/ We were using WPBakery builder, and I see that version 4 has Elementor. Does WPBakery still exist in version 4? Can we have both builders side by side? Do I have to rebuild all 250 pages in Elementor? Can I leave WPBakery on the old pages and Elementor on the new ones? Thank you for your answer.
Hi there.
Thanks for sticking with Kalium for 10 years. Happy to help you move to v4.
1: You do not need to buy a second license. Just clone your site to a staging site and then you can start upgrading to Kalium 4 as explained here: https://docs.kaliumtheme.com/getting-started/migrating-from-kalium-3-to-42: WPBakery is still supported in Kalium 4, it so you can keep existing WPBakery pages if you want to keep it as a page builder, but if you want to use both we do not recommend that, it is good sticking to just a page builder.
Also, as a long-time customer you are eligible for a 30% off coupon for Kalium 4 plans. Just email us at info@laborator.co and we will send it to you.
Hello Kalium team,
I’ve been using Kalium (pre-v4) on my site https://buyimported.pk/ for years. After recent checks I found a mobile layout bug that requires your attention:
On real mobile devices (not just desktop mobile emulator) a two-column layout is collapsing: one of the two columns drops down, leaving an uneven layout. It happens only with real device. Desktop simulator for mobile is fully responsive on every width.
I verified the same behavior on your demo theme page: https://demo.kaliumtheme.com/fashion — the issue reproduces there as well.
I’m not ready to upgrade to Kalium v4, so please provide a fix or patch that supports the current pre-v4 branch (or a compatibility patch we can apply) for users who choose not to upgrade.
Steps I took: opened both my site and the Kalium demo on a real Android/iOS device and confirmed the column drop issue.
Please advise whether you can:
Provide a patch / updated stylesheet for pre-v4 users, or
Give a short CSS workaround I can apply until an official fix is available.
Thank you — I appreciate your help maintaining backwards compatibility for long-time customers.
Best regards,

And here are images from my website https://postimg.cc/gallery/WgZ4pxW
Other than my own device, I have checked it on devices of my colleagues and found out that column shift is happening on all devices. thank you
Can you please share the phone type you are testing it, I see you’re in Android so I need more specifics since in iOS devices it is not happening (tested in many devices).
I really Appologies For mentioning IOS.
I right now checked it on 4 Androind devices. I found it to be working on 2 and 2 devices faced this issue.

Hi there,
Thanks for clarifying and for sharing the detailed device information. We don’t have access to every physical device for testing, but we’ve checked extensively with multiple emulators on BrowserStack and haven’t been able to reproduce the issue you mentioned.
For the Dcode Bold 3, we could not even find this exact model in the available device list to run tests on. On the other hand, our checks with other Android devices show the feature working as expected.
Here’s the screenshot from our test environment: https://d.pr/i/aD9W2o
We’ll keep monitoring this, but based on our current tests, the issue doesn’t appear consistently across Android devices.
Hello Support Team,
Good afternoon. I am interested in purchasing your product, but I would like to clarify one point before proceeding.
I plan to first install the template on a test server/subdomain where I will build a new WordPress website. Later, I will transfer/upgrade this test site to my main website, which is currently running on Wordpress.
My question:
- Can I activate the template on the subdomain (test site) for development purposes, and then later transfer it to my original/main domain?
- After the transfer, the license/activation would only remain active on the final (main) domain.
Please confirm if this workflow is allowed under your license terms.
Hi there,
Yes, that workflow is absolutely possible. You can first activate your license on your test subdomain, and later transfer it to your main site once you’re ready to go live. After the transfer, the license will remain active only on the final (main) domain.
We’ve explained this in more detail here: https://docs.kaliumtheme.com/getting-started/license/activation-scopeIf your test site does not fall under one of the automatically supported domains (like localhost, .dev, .staging, etc.), just let us know and we can whitelist it for you.
When you’re ready, you can purchase the theme directly from our website here: https://kaliumtheme.com/pricing/Is there any sandbox to test?
Hi there,
We’ve recently disabled the free trial because it was being misused. At the moment we don’t have a sandbox available, but we are working on introducing one in the upcoming weeks.
In the meantime, you’re covered by our 14-day refund policy, so if you try Kalium and it doesn’t work out for you, we’ll be happy to refund your purchase.
Basically our team want to test it. As it’s almost doubled amount. But we’re interested to buy if sandbox or trail available
Hi there,
I understand your concern. The Personal plan starts at $59, and while we don’t have a sandbox or trial at the moment, if you decide to upgrade later to a higher plan the amount you’ve already paid will be prorated, so you won’t lose anything when moving up.
This way you can start testing with the entry plan and then upgrade once you’re ready.
Basically we don’t mind if theme work as expected we only need 1 day trail that’s also fine. We also don’t mind to upgrade initially itself
Can you please write us an email at info@laborator.co or provide us an email so we can share the trial link?
Hi there, I have bought a few licenses in the past with great satisfaction. In order to know if buying another one for another site would be the right choice, I would like to ask a couple of questions. I need to build a “catalogue” website (not a shop, more like a portfolio), with a navigation menu on top (about, contacts, producers etc) and a sidebar menu (producers). In the sidebar, under the producers list, i would also like to add the possibility of selecting products by tags. I have looked through the sample sites but haven’t found this kind of navigation. Do you think it would easily achievable? Thanks!!!
Hi there,
Yes, what you described is absolutely possible with our theme. You could achieve it in two ways:
- WooCommerce with Catalog Mode: this lets you use WooCommerce without enabling the shop/cart, perfect for catalog-style websites.
- Portfolio post type: also suitable for building a catalogue or portfolio site.
Both options support tags, and filtering by them is straightforward to set up.
Please note that not every possible setup is shown in our starter sites. They are meant as examples to get you started, but there are many more layouts and configurations you can create with Kalium.
For the best price and direct support, you can purchase Kalium from our website https://kaliumtheme.com/pricing it’s much cheaper.
You say it’s easy to migrate to 4, I did it and I still get this message
This license is already in use can only be activated on a single site. If you are trying to move a license from another site, open the Account page under the plugin settings in the admin dashboard, click on deactivate license first, and then try again.
, even though I deactivated my licenses
Hi there,
I checked our database and your license is still showing as active and running on your site: http://isabelle****.com/.
That’s why you are seeing the message about the license already being in use.
Please deactivate the license directly on that site from Account → Deactivate License in the plugin settings. Once it’s deactivated there, you’ll be able to activate it on your new site without issues.
Good Morning. Is Kalium 3 and 4 compatible with the latest version of WordPress? I can’t find any information about this in the changelog, and the only version listed here as supported is 6.5.x. Thanks for the info.
Hi there,
Yes, Kalium 3 and Kalium 4 are both compatible with the latest WordPress, in the changelog for Kalium 3:
https://kaliumtheme.com/tf/changelog/You can find a 6.6.x compatibility in July.
Okay, I’m only asking because Kalium 4’s account still says 5.5.x. Thank you and best regards.
When Kalium 4 was released the current WP version was 6.6 so that’s why you could not find 6.5 listed there.
Sorry for the misunderstanding. I meant WP 6.6, which is displayed as the compatible version in my Kalium 4 account. Here at Themeforrest, 6.5 is also displayed in the preview. Perhaps this can be corrected and updated.
