Hi, I want to install the template on a subdomain so I can import other demos and complete the “SEO AGENCY” demo website, but it says “You have exceeded the max. number of activations, allowed by this activation key.” I read a comment below where you said it was possible to work with subdomains, but it seems it won’t let me and treats it as if I’m activating it on a different site. the gem hotspot seems not work with WPML. Or am i doing something wrong?
i got it working. here my solution:
WPML + TheGem Hotspot – Fix
Problem: TheGem’s gem_hotspot stores all content in a single hotspot_items attribute as URL-encoded JSON, so WPML can’t detect translatable fields. Additionally, tooltip_template uses raw template IDs, which WPML does not translate automatically.
Solution
Register the shortcode in WPML XML Define hotspot_items as type=”area” with encoding=”urlencoded_json”.
Add custom decode/encode logic Split the JSON into individual fields (e.g. title, content) so WPML can translate them, then rebuild it after translation.
Fix template IDs (tooltip_template) Manually resolve IDs via wpml_object_id so the correct language version of the template is loaded.
Result
Hotspot texts are translatable in WPML
Tooltip templates switch language correctly
No manual editing of JSON or IDs needed
Key point: WPML doesn’t handle encoded JSON or internal IDs automatically — you have to explicitly register and resolve them.

As far as I understand, the license is associated with the domain where the theme is installed. However, in our case we usually develop the website first in a development environment using a subdomain, and later migrate it to the final domain.
For example, the final domain will be maindomain.es, but the development will initially be done on dev.maindomain.es.
If we activate the license on the development subdomain first and later migrate the site to the final domain, will the license continue to work correctly? Or will it remain associated with the subdomain and stop working once the site is moved to the main domain?

And when I try to load elementor this shows: sorry, the content area was not found in your page.
You must call ‘the_content’ function in the current template, in order for Elementor to work on this page.

If I import the demo content, will my site replicate the live preview exactly (layouts, fonts, colors, sections, widget areas)?
Is it possible to import only specific pages or sections (for example, the homepage from Demo 1, the About page from Demo 3) rather than the full demo set?
Can I build the site in a modular way — selecting sections individually and assembling them across pages — or is the demo import an “all-or-nothing” approach? (because i read comments about this and some people have problem with this case – demo data), also i need to know if i can change the full colors bakcground of theme, my store logo and Interior Design is all about RED color.
2. Homepage & Site Setup

i like the theme for wpbakery. only annoying is the 21px padding between colums. its either full width no paddings, but boxed with no paddings seems a bridge to far.
