Hey guys. I have spent one week trying to fix this issue and used ai etc to assist but no troubleshooting has worked. My website shows the correct logo on all pages on desktop but on Mobile, the demo logo is showing for the cart, checkout and account pages only. I cannot find where to change this or remove the demo logo? Please let me know what is the issue, i have tried everything i can think of. thank you

You can simply install the new demo, the old one is automatically uninstalled. There isn’t something special that has to be done to switch to a different demo. You can test as many demos as you want. Please try it.

So you are using an email locker and after you enter the email the content is not unlocked. It could be caused by caching. Hello, we noticed DDOS attacks targeting sites running on this theme. Specifically targeting the query string td_theme_name=Newspaper using the POST method. We blocked this using Cloudflare security rules, and the attack stopped. Unfortunately, post views, theme settings, and editing custom posts become impossible. Is there a solution to this?
Hi,
If you mean admin-ajax requests with that parameter at the end, then blocking them would indeed cause problems with quite a lot of the theme functionalities. Instead of blocking them entirely, maybe it would be best to use rate limiting and bot fight mode.
I will try to help more. I suggest to send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the rule you created and samples of the attack requests or logs, so we can see how the rule could be adjusted or if other solutions exist instead of using the rule.

While these have helped a bit, the server CPU usage shoots up again when I turn off the rule.

If there are no more legitimate requests then it must surely be an attack. One option that you might be using but forgot, is this option for counting post views https://prnt.sc/k5XUrzbg0oCW This also makes the same request each time a post is viewed. I suggest deactivating that and testing again.
Since those requests are always the same, it can be hard to differentiate between legitimate requests and suspicious ones. The cloudflare paid plans have rate limiting, so there could be limits set for such requests over a period of time, from the same IP. But there are other ways to try and deal with suspicious requests, like a combination of rules, not blocking them entirely.
You can email us from any email you want, just be sure to provide this information in the email as well, or mention what we were discussing here so I know what it’s about. And please also let me know if you use cloudflare free or paid.

I had already removed the Ajax view count. Some of the traffic from the IPs in the Apache logs above are from VPSes: https://prnt.sc/GBSHiAA5Ollj. And this has been going on for about 2 months. On more than 1 site. All targeting that specific query; no other page requests being targeted. Which I find odd. 1 site is pro the other free. All have the same exact issue.

If you add the author review elements in the post template, they will be displayed only for posts that actually have a review. I checked your website and I don’t see a problem, there is a post that has a review and it is displayed in the post page, other posts don’t have a review and they display normally. Looks fine to me. Or is there a problem that I’m not seeing perhaps?

That’s the user review, not the author review. These are different things.
So there are author reviews, meaning the ones that you or the post author is creating for the posts -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/reviews-2/
And there are the user reviews, which website visitors can leave for posts on your website -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/user-reviews/
If you added the user review in the post template, it is normal for it to be displayed, so website visitors can leave a review. It depends on what you want to do. If you don’t want visitors to review your posts, please remove the user review element from the post template.

Can you make custom alterations to the ad system so that each banner/video ad would possess details about the number of times it was viewed? This is for a website that would love to implement a CPM ad system for advertisers.

Unfortunately our theme doesn’t have such a feature. If you need this feature you could use a plugin, it’s the easiest way. I completely understand how to go about displaying a Pop-up ad through the “Modal Pop-up” feature. However, is it viable to display Pop-up ads in different languages for websites that runs in multiple languages(leveraging the WPML plugin)?
A situation whereby one uses the Modal Pop-up element to display a distinct Pop-up ad on a page url like “domain.com/fr/” and “domain.com/es/” so that the advertisement can appropriately suit the readers language.
I don’t think it’s a good decision to display an image advertisement written in English to a reader who is accessing the French’s translation of the website.

That depends. On a multilingual website you are probably using different templates, meaning different header, post template, etc. and different/translated pages. So you can use different popups. For example if you display a popup in the header, and there is a header template for each language, then the headers can contain different popups. or is your setup different perhaps? So you are saying aside the fact that one can create a separate posts and category template using the theme panel and tagdiv composer, a separate entire design can also be created for each Urls on a multilingual website using the theme panel and tagdiv composer??
That’s right. You can have an entirely different set of template per language. For example I have my English set of templates -> https://prnt.sc/hdcrxEjEpmTm and my French set of templates -> https://prnt.sc/zUdJmN_Z7V46 and so on for each language. Maybe you’re doing it in a different way, but this way you can have different content and different popups if that is what you want.

How do i change the logo on the urbanoberserver starter theme? i tried through theme panel, uploaded a new logo but it keeps showing the demo logo

Interested in moving to Newspaper but have a few concerns. Seems the latest version of WPBakery bundled is 8.7. I have 8.7.3 installed. I know I would be to deactivate my version to use Newspaper’s modified version. But should there be any backward compatibility concerns?
Also, as I have a good chunk of post done in Bakery, I just want to be sure that Bakery and tagDiv Composer can run at the same time.
Hi,
The WPBakery plugin we include with the theme is not modified in any way. We provide the latest version of this plugin inside the theme package, at the the time when the theme is updated. Right now we provide 8.7.2, and the next theme update will include 8.7.3 or whatever version is the latest at that time. You don’t have to downgrade your version if you decide to use our theme, or use the WPBakery plugin from our theme package.
However, we recommend switching to our composer if possible, which is in some ways required. If you install a theme demo or import content from our cloud library, these can only be edited with the composer. So at least the homepage and other pages that may be imported with a demo, and the templates (post, category, etc.) need to be customized with the composer. For the rest of your pages you can continue using WPBakery.
While we don’t usually recommend building the post content with WPBakery, there shouldn’t be any issues because of that, or at least not major issues.
