Hi, we brought up to you prior about the need to have a popup option and a expand option for team bios/team/staff This theme is too limited when it comes to showing more in-dpth bios and profile info. We cannot launch site because there is not way to present the company executive experience in an efficent way. Therefore, if you are looking for features that are not part of the native Uncode framework, we will not build them simply because a user requests them; we hope this is clear. Similarly, Uncode has unique features, and just because we have them does not mean other themes must have them. In any case, if you want a popup, you can always create one using “Popup Maker,” which works perfectly with the theme. Make additions because they make sense. Makes no sense that a theme this large has very poor “our team” display bio options. .Rediculously complicated to make a simple post popup using a plugin that is not smoothly integrated with the theme options.

The popup plugin is extremely complicated and time wasting for something as simple as a team post type with detail page to display full bio.

Hi. When I use the Custom Navigation “Default Thumbnails” in the single product page, I visualize the previous product and the next product with the sorting Order by Date, like in the products page in the backend. And if I use the Custom Navigation “Posts Split”, that has the Build Query, where I can set the Order by Title I continue to visualize the previous product and the next product with the sorting Order by Date.

Update: Uncode quietly patched the bug they said didn’t exist
Following my earlier post about the Featured Image being applied as a tiled background across all Portfolio pages after updating to 2.12.3, I received the following response from the developer:
“If the issue is linked to your Child Theme, custom modifications, or potential extra plugins, we cannot guarantee a solution. Truly, if this were a theme issue, you would have seen hundreds of similar reports here.”
I’d like to update the community on what actually happened.
Using browser dev tools, I was able to identify the exact cause: the update was programmatically injecting the Featured Image as an inline background-image style onto every .background-inner div across all Portfolio pages — 11 instances per page — via Uncode’s Dynamic Background system. This was happening regardless of Child Theme, custom modifications, or plugins. It was a clean update on a staging environment.
Within hours of posting, the issue resolved itself on the staging site without any action on my part. The Row Settings interface also changed — the Dynamic Background option that was present and causing the problem is no longer visible in the panel.
Uncode appears to have silently patched 2.12.3 after dismissing the report as a user error.
I hold 10 licences for this theme. I’d simply ask that when users report specific, evidenced bugs, they’re taken seriously rather than deflected.

When we release an update, it is public, and every user must perform the update through their WordPress admin dashboard to implement it. As previously mentioned, you were experiencing an unusual issue that other users have never reported. Without seeing it in detail, we cannot pinpoint the cause. However, we can definitively confirm that no “silent” updates have been published, as that is technically impossible for us to do.

I would like to use the template on a temporary/staging domain first while I finish the website development. Once the website is ready, I would like to move it to the main domain.
Can I activate the license on the temporary domain first and later transfer or reassign it to the main domain?

Hi there, looking to do simple image rollover – so the image changes when the users curser rolls over it. Google tells me that this can be done in the Single Media module’s hover settings. But I cannot see where these settings are. I search Uncode help, but nothing there (unless its called something else). Any advice gratefully received. Thanks in advance!

we’re seeing a layout shift with the Uncode transparent/sticky header.
On page load, the menu appears with a short delay. During that moment, the page-header/hero content starts at the very top. Once the menu becomes visible/initialized, the hero content is pushed down, causing a visible jump.
We already tested without our custom CSS, and the issue still happens. The header row itself stays at y=0; only the inner page-header content shifts.
Could you please advise the proper fix for Uncode? Is there a setting or recommended CSS to make the transparent header reserve its height immediately and prevent the page-header content from being repositioned after load?

Hi supermex! Yes, that is exactly right. The issue is caused by your current optimization settings, as the Safari browser processes JavaScript differently and more slowly than Chrome. You can verify that this does not occur in our demo.
As a solution, we suggest forcing the height using CSS. Please try adding the following snippet to your site to see if it resolves the rendering delay:

Every time I update the Theme to UncodeVersion: 2.11.6 it completely throws the porfolio pages into mad disarray – the Featured image in the pages appear as a background over the entire page, and the custom padding is all over the place. The PHP is 8.4, its uses the Child, and everything else is up to date, except the Theme. Would be great to know how to resolve this without having to pay another $41 for the 9 licences that I have for this theme. https://danbarber.co.uk/ Thanks!
Hi danbarber! The version you are referring to is several months old now, and as you can see, there are no similar reports. We are still trying to understand the exact nature of the problem you are experiencing, but since you are using a Child Theme, you should first try removing it to see if that resolves the issue.
Regarding support renewals, these are one of Envato’s rules for all themes; after all, one cannot expect unlimited support forever. When an issue is recognized and we receive reports from multiple users (confirming it is a genuine problem with the theme), a fix is released within a few hours, depending on its severity.
Thanks for the response! Well if its an old version, why does it update to 2.11.6 in the update Theme section? Anyway, I downloaded the latest version on this platform, uploaded it – same problem.

Ok, thanks. So you are suggesting that I delete the Child Them and try running the site without it? (all other plug-ins were disabled, so that is not the issue)

Uncode 2.12.3 — Bug Report: Featured Image applied as background to all rows on Portfolio pages
After updating to 2.12.3, all Portfolio pages were broken — the Featured Image was being tiled as a background across every row on every Portfolio page, regardless of per-page or global Theme Options settings.
After significant diagnosis using browser dev tools, the cause was identified: the update had activated Dynamic Background on rows across Portfolio pages, causing Uncode to inject the Featured Image as an inline background-image style on every .background-inner div — 11 instances per page in my case. Symptoms:
Featured Image appearing as a repeated background across all Portfolio pages Affecting all portfolio pages, not just one Per-page settings (Show Media: No, Show Featured Image: No) had no effect Global Theme Options changes had no effect
Fix:
Open each Portfolio page in the WPBakery backend editor Edit each row → Style tab → set Dynamic Background to No Re-save Theme Options to regenerate the stylesheet (this also fixes any fonts/colours that disappear after the update)
If you use a shared Content Block as a portfolio page template, check there first — fixing it in the Content Block may resolve it across all pages simultaneously.
Hope this saves someone else the same headache.

I have purchase throughout the year 3 uncode licenses. Of which, only 1 has been fully published and in use. The other 2 where for clients that ultimately decided upon features not available on Uncode. I now what to use the remaining two, and I cannot it says its registered, but it is not. As I had deregister them upon deleting the theme and adding the one I ultimately used. I need them deregistered, and the article on this does not provide an email to send request to. Can someone help?
