Suddenly you have made it so the theme has to be licensed for the page builder shortcodes to render. It was never like this before and this is a really poor change to make. I had bought the theme back in 2014 and was using it on 2 sites, applying manual updates via FTP to one of them. However, now you’ve made that second site unusable.

Hello! A few more questions:

1. I see several demos for different scenarios like “Wedding Photographer”, “Photography Portfolio”, “Photo Studio”, “Photographer Portfolio”, etc. Are these built in/starter templates that we can quickly reference with the purchase of “Bridge”, or do we need to purchase both “Bridge” and each of the demo templates?

2. Let’s say I select “Wedding Photographer”, and in a few years some problems start to occur with this version and we need to switch to another newer format that perhaps uses some newer WordPress technology. Would we need to select a new demo and build the site out from scratch, or can we easily transition from one type to another keeping most of the structure intact?

Hi,

1. All demos showcased on landing page are included with the theme. Once you install the theme and register your purchase code, demos will be listed in Bridge Dashboard > Import section, and you can choose which demo to import.

2. The theme is updated regularly (changelog). Once a demo is imported, and content of the site built, importing another demo is not recommended. By importing another demo, the settings, widgets and pages of that demo are added, and they can override existing ones. We always recommend importing new demo on a clean WordPress installation.

Hello! If I purchase this theme: 1. Will I have any issues when transferring to a new web host if the domain remains the same?

2. If I need to do some testing in the event of a PHP upgrade or something similar, can I use this theme in a subdomain of the primary domain/site to help test the site? Or if I use it with the WP Staging plugin, would these scenarios require a second license if it’s intended for testing and not intended for public access?

1. The theme has a registration module and when migrating site, it is necessary to deregister purchase code in Bridge Dashboard, and you can register it again.

2. When it comes to subdomains, we can add a staging domain as a related domain. This will allow purchase code to be used for both domains.

Could you please deactivate my Bridge license from whichever domain it is currently registered to? When I try to activate it, I receive the message that the purchase code is already registered to another domain, but I don’t know which domain it is associated with.

I’m currently developing the site locally using Laragon and will upload it to my live server once it’s ready.

I also cannot access my QODE account. The login page does not work for me, and I’m unable to reset my password either, so I can’t deactivate the license myself.

I understand that my support period has expired. Normally I would renew it if I needed technical support, but in this case I’m unable to use the product I already purchased because I can’t access my QODE account or manage my license. I’m building this website before launching my business, so I was hoping to get the site up and running first, then renew support later if I ever needed it. The theme itself has always worked perfectly, and I’ve never had to request support before.

Could you please check which domain my license is registered to and reset or deactivate it so I can activate it on my new installation?

Hi, I’m writing to you because I have version 28.7, WP Version 5.9.13, PHP Version 7.4.33. If I add an element like a video player to the page and include a YouTube link, the video no longer displays on the page. Do I need to update the template, WP, and PHP versions?

It is recommended to keep the theme updated. Before you update your PHP version and WordPress, please update the theme first.

To update Bridge theme and bundled plugins please follow instructions from the video in this link: How To Update The Bridge WordPress Theme And Bundled Plugins and please don’t skip ‘10:34 – One final step after updating the Bridge theme’ part of the video. After you update the theme all of the plugins with available updates will be listed in Appearance > Install Plugins. It is important to update Bridge Core plugin that will be listed there.

Filing a bug—our support has expired, but we can’t afford $50 to report a bug, heh.

We use the Envato Market plugin to keep Bridge auto-updated, and are using a child theme for minor cosmetic changes. Whenever Bridge is updated, the background of the entire site resets to white. To fix, I go to Qode Options, where the custom colors still appear in the color pickers, despite not actually deploying, and click “Save Changes” without actually changing any settings. That fixes the background color and we’re good to go. Possible to fix?

Thank you for using our theme. This is not a bug, but a necessary step when theme and plugins are updated. Navigating to Qode Options > General and clicking on ‘Save Changes’ button is necessary in order to generate a new dynamic CSS file with all the settings from Qode Options.

Hi, I am writing to report an issue regarding the WooCommerce template overrides included in the Bridge theme. The theme’s current cart.php file is based on an older version of WooCommerce (10.1.0). Since WooCommerce has recently updated this core template to version 10.8.0 (introducing important security, semantic HTML, and accessibility improvements), WooCommerce is now triggering an outdated template warning in the WordPress dashboard. As a customer, I am reaching out to give you notice about this discrepancy so your development team can review, merge the new WooCommerce features/requirements, and release an official fix in the next theme update. The theme will be updated next week. As you may know, WooCommerce releases new versions of the plugin every few weeks. This means that some of the template files we use in our theme might show up for you as outdated. Note that most of the WooCommerce updates do not change anything critical, so it should not have an impact on the theme’s functionality.

This way we can only test the theme and demo import on our local installation, which we did, and the demo is working correctly.

As this might be caused by some missing module on your server, or if your server perhaps has some firewall, you can try importing demo on a localhost installation, and then migrating it to your server.

The plugins that you got after the purchase (like Slider Revolution and WPBakery) are called bundled and we, as theme authors, have purchased an extended license for them. That means you don’t have to activate them and they’ll work for you regardless of that.

Bundled plugins offer the same core features and functionality as the standalone version of the item on CodeCanyon. Some plugins may ask for a purchase code for registration/activation once installed, however, you can simply ignore these messages as bundled plugins do not require activation or registration. The plugin will still work as intended with the theme once the theme has been activated/registered.

After the latest update, the Timetable plugin started showing this error: “Timetable Booking Schedule for WordPress plugin license not verified.” I followed the instructions to verify my purchase code, but I get the following message: “License not verified.
