Oh, I see the issue now. You have the portfolio layout assigned to another page spelled “gallerie”. You most likely put that page in your trash but never actually deleted it from there or unassigned the portfolio layout. Please delete that page from your trash and the link will work 
Ya, you are right. I spelled es wrong. But in the trash, there is nothing. How can I delete it from the Trash? How can I find it???

Strange, the page has to be somewhere since the portfolio layout is still actively being pulled from it. What version of the theme are you using? If you’re on 1.6+ there’s also an option in the “Portfolio Options” tab to enter in the URL of your portfolio. The option is at the bottom called “Main Portfolio Page URL”. You can simply enter the correctly spelled URL in there and the link will also work.

I am seeing a bug where on the action button for the slider (on the home page) is showing up hollow and therefore very hard to see (it looks like a hollow rectangle that is white, with white text – when shown on a light image it is nearly impossible to see – and the green color used for other action buttons is not shown there). This bug is happening in Chrome and Safari on the Mac. Can you advise on how to fix this?

That’s not a bug, that’s the style of the button used for the home slider which is different than the regular button style you insert with shortcodes. As you should have seen on the demo, all slides use that button style. By default it requires you to put a little thought into your images to make sure it will sit over a non-white section of them. If you are unable to make your images accommodate, you can use a custom css snippet to add a background color to increase visibility.

I have some questions:
1. Is it possible to use another icon fonts like fontello? I’ve noticed that all the icons from font awesome are shown as rectangles on opera mobile.
2. Is it possible to change the scrollbar style just like browers display by default?
3. And finally, the description says that the theme is ready for SEO but if I try to look for Salient theme on google, the demo site doesn’t appear , do you think using a plugin like seo by yoast we could get better results?

1. You would have include them yourself and reference them manually as needed.
2. Yes, you can disable the custom scrollbar with one click in the options panel
3. I have “Search Engine Visibility” off in the WordPress settings because there’s no need for it to be in Google – all of my traffic comes direct from here and other sites who feature me. For me being in google just means more bots to watch out with spam and attacks. The theme is SEO ready and in combination with yoast, there’s practically nothing else that could be done to improve it.

I would like to know how to use the default lightboxes of the theme.
Also I want to enablescrollbar on some of the lighiboxes, the size of the image to be opened is over 2000px. How can I enable horizontal , vertical and both the scroll bars in the lightbox. And keeping it responsive at the same time.
I tried the external wordpress plugin, Lightbox Plus but it does not have scrollbars in the light box.

You can call a lightbox where ever you please by simply adding the class “pp” to your link. Here’s an example of how it should look in the text tab of your editor:
<a class="pp" href="YOUR_LARGER_IMG"><img src="YOUR_IMG" /></a>
As for adding scrollbars – I don’t believe there is a way to do that but your images should automatically get resized to fill the dimensions of the users screen.

Well That really doesn’t do the needful.
I want to put some newspaper clippings (in the media section) to show the press coverage of the product.
And if the lightbox gets resized, then the text is no more readable We do not want that to happen.

You would have to turn to external plugins or possibly custom development to achieve that functionality as it’s just not there in the theme by default.
Can you suggest any good plugin for it.
I tried lightbox plus, but even it didn’t do the needful.
I actually don’t know of a plugin to do what you need, I would have to do the same research as you to find one.

Yes, the theme comes SEO optimized to the point where you could get away without using any additional plugins if you didn’t want to. This is because of the clean semantic code & correct title tags automatically generated etc..
However, using a plugin like Yoast or All in one SEO will give you a great setup where not much else could possibly be done to optimize further.

As of now the recent posts shortcode/template can only display recent posts from all of your categories – adding in functionality to query from specific categories will mostly get added down the road though

Hey hendrixter, you need to paste the actual script from google into that box, not just your account id number. All that box does is paste whatever you put into it at the footer location so make sure you’re putting the whole script.

Love the theme, just having a few small issues with it. I have a testimony silder inside a full width section, with another full width section below it with my client slider in it. I want both full width sections to be flush with each other ( like in your “home extended” demo page). Whenever I update the home page with new text, the testimony section gets cut off by the full width section below it. I’ve added a couple ‘& nbsp;’ between the two sections which seemed to bring the testimony slider up again but I feel there’s a better way of fixing it, also the two sections aren’t flush when viewed on mobile or tablet. Any suggestions?

Looks like there’s an extra div that’s wrapping your full width clients section that’s most likely breaking the layout. If you switch over to the text tab you should be able to see it and delete it. If you want I could also login and assist you with it real quick, just let me know

I’ve tested the site in IE10 in windows 7 and windows 8 and it works as expected..What are you using? Also, IE11 is only available as a preview at this time so I don’t have it, but I can’t see why it would fail.

Right now you can only use the home slider on the home page or any one page of your choosing, but you can’t plop it on multiple pages right now.

I really love the look & feel of your theme and would like to offer my suggestion for taking it to the next level (assuming you are going to continue developing it to continue the sales momentum). There are two other themes on Theme Forest at the moment that I feel you should try to aspire to in terms on ‘features’ (not design, but functionality to give the user more goodies and more reason to buy from you). They are: GoodWork and Flexform. If you spend a few minutes on each, it is clear to see what features they offer that you currently are not, and seriously consider incorporating those into future releases. For example, I like the extra options provided in GoodWork’s header (though it is limited in terms of color choices) and it has decent Twitter feed integration on the blog sidebar. Flexform does a better job of allowing for header customization and offers so many shortcodes it’s crazy. Both themes feature WooCommerce integration which I understand you are also working on (which is great!).
I hope you don’t take my suggestions as anything other than supportive. I see this is your first theme and it’s AMAZING, and as a customer here, I just want the theme to be even better so I’m hoping you will continue to develop it and enhance its feature-set. Looking forward to seeing more great work from you (and paying for it).

As you can imagine, there are always more features that could be added – an almost never ending number, as some authors have proven by sticking to only one or a few themes and pushing new features out for over a year straight.

Hi. Interested in purchasing this theme but have a question first of all.
I am new to this whole Wordpress thing and though I love the general design and functionality of this theme there is one feature I would like to change, the gallery.
I currently have my own photography website which I desperately need to update but one of the features I do want to keep is the display of thumbnail images of an album adjacent to the main image/s on display, something like this on my current website: http://captureimagery.co.uk/fashion-photography-gallery.php
My question is would this be simple enough to do? Could I combine something like this theme: http://codecanyon.net/item/thumbnail-gallery-wordpress-plugin/294024?ref=DOTonPAPER to accomplish something similar?

As you already know, there’s nothing like that currently in the theme so resorting to a plugin (like you’ve found) would be your best bet. The only thing you must take into consideration is your own ability to implement plugins and change/add the necessary css if any needs to be altered. If you’re not comfortable do so then I would recommend you contract a developer for an hour or two to get everything ironed out to your liking
