So here are some of the problems I encountered:
The woocommerce layout is not completely responsive to mobile devices. Also, if the header is chosen with secondary navigation (out of alignment)
For woocommerce: The drop down selections are layered on top of each other slightly if more than 1 attributes/variations are chosen
The drop down selections are cut off at the top slightly anywhere on the site. (not the navigation drop down)
Is it possible to have rollover image from the feature image?

forgot to mention is it possible to add the sidebar layout to the shop page to filter the categories/sale items, sizes etc? I tried to activate it but it’s not showing.

1. I’m already in the process of ironing out the responsive cart layout in woocommerce.
2. I don’t know what you mean by the header is out of alignment when using the secondary nav option, can you supply a link or screenshot?

Is it possible to set a sticky sidebar to pages or posts? The demo only shows this possible on Extended Portfolio items but it would be nice to have this option for other sections as well.

Hi, great Theme! I have a few questions before purchasing: 1. Are the name, date and heart infos and the comments below the images in the portfolio and elsewhere hidable? 2. Can I link a portfolio image with a gallery, like Portfolio>Images>Image A,B, and C? (like 3 levels) 3. Can I create big portfolios and galleries, like 200 images? 4. 1. You can hide them from simply removing them from the code.
2/3. You would need an additional plugin for such galleries.
4. Of course, you can place whatever images you want in the headers – the demo just uses blurry images as an example
Pls improve the “Search” function.
I just find that search result come without any feature image, it is text only. Even the woocommerce product show without any photo, this make the search useless for product.
How can i make the search result like other theme, with normal display instead of text only ?

2 quick questions..
I want to remove the PORTFOLIO text at the portfolio page, but not the filter.. found a ticket but: body.page-template-page-portfolio-php .page-header-no-bg { display: none!important; }
This works for both, I only want the text gone. And where can I change the text? If I dont want it to be gone?
And quick little other question, how do I remove the ‘watch video’ on my portfolio items, and only leave the more info button over there?

You mean the heading I just gave you a snippet to hide? You can edit that right in your “Page Header Settings” box at the bottom of page when editing your portfolio page the same way as you configure headings on any other page.

I just purchased the theme. Just a question about installing it: It seems Wordpress doesn’t allow the upload of custom theme from the wordpress panel.

You need to be hosting WordPress on your own install, when using a wordpress.com blog you are limited to their selection of themes and can not install any premium ones or additional plugins. You can place fullwidth background sections anywhere you please and you can also even parallax them if you want. The site is also fully responsive for all devices. Salient does allow you to place fullwidth parallax sections where you want just like that. You can see examples of them throughout the site on various pages. For example, the extended homepage example the about us page, the elements page etc.

Also this might be a possible bug? Reporting it in case..
1. Go to your portfolio page. Sort by a category which has a small amount of items (e.g. 1 or 2, so that the end of the footer is visible and the window scrollbar at the right side of the page disappears).
2. Sort by “all” again so that there are a lot more items and you can’t see footer anymore. The window scrollbar is still not visible, so you can’t scroll down, even with mouse wheel.

This is an unfortunate bug when using the styled scrollbar. If your setup allows for this to happen, you can always deactivate the styled scrollbar in your theme options panel to get rid of it.

Thanks for the amazing theme, really liking it so far.
I have a few questions, if you could answer that would be much appreciated (please see this screenshot for reference: http://camillehein.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/salient-issues.png ).
1. My logo appears to be slightly blurry, as if it is rendering slightly larger than its actual dimensions. Can I change this? Also, the area to click on the logo (to take you to home page) doesn’t cover the entire logo, only about half of it is actually clickable.
2. The footer text appears to be using a default copyright text from elsewhere (this may be a WordPress setting but I can’t remember where to change it). Adding a Salient footer text adds onto the end of this rather than replacing it. Do you know where I can get rid of this default footer text?
3. My home page is set to the “Home – Slider Only” template. I noticed there is a white bar between the slider and the footer, do you know how to get rid of this?
4. Is there a way to make the footer “stick to the bottom of the page” on shorter pages, and have any gaps in between set to some background colour (i.e. black preferably)?
5. How can I get rid of the love heart symbol that is shown next to portfolio items (on portfolio page as well as the single pages)?
6. On the portfolio pages, I want them to be able to click on the item’s title to go to the “more details” page. Which code should I change to achieve this?
7. If I click on the icon to share to Facebook in the more details page of a portfolio item, the link it is sharing is my main portfolio URL not the link to the item itself, is this a setting I have mistakenly done somewhere?

Nevermind about questions 1 and 3, they’re fixed (#1 I think was due to me making the logo height bigger than its actual height, which scaled it all up, and #3 I sort of worked around somehow).

2. The footer copyright will always insert the current year and you site name by default because it’s assumed those are two things every site would want. The text input field will insert everything after that if you want to write additional information about your copyright etc..If you’d rather remove the first segment you can delete it from the footer.php file, it’s near the end of it
4. This is something that might get added in as a safety net in a later release but for now if you’re daring enough to add this functionality yourself there’s a bunch of tutorials and resources on the web to help out. Here’s one – http://ryanfait.com/sticky-footer/
5. Add this to your custom css box:
.nectar-love-wrap {
display: none!important;
}
6. You’ll have to wrap it in a link the same as the image is; you can find the relevant code inside of the page-portfolio.php file
7. That shouldn’t be happening – no additional setup is required. Can I see your URL to check out why that may be happening?

Ok great! I think a feature that would make this theme one of the most complete themes ever on themeforest is the ability to add an audio player to the product list page for products. This way the user wouldn’t have to actually click on the product to go into description to preview the audio file. This would open up another door of customers like myself who are music producers wanting to use woocommerce as their eccommerce solution. Hi, after updating to v1.7, the body background color changed to the default color. Is there a bug? Which value should I edit to change the background color again? Editing the typical body [ background-color ] value doesn’t do anything.

No, it’s not a bug; there is a new wrapping div that is needed in order to accommodate the parallax header option. If you would like to change its color along with the body target it like:
