The images will stay opened in lightbox but title and readmore text will be directed to single post. some people really needs this feature thats why we continue keeping it.

Hey thanks for purchasing our item. please visit our documentation : http://artbees.net/themes/jupiter/docs => Page Templates => single portfolio templates.
copy the template you want and paste it to the portfolio single. then edit the contents and you will surely spot the slideshow module in the content you have copied from docs. please note that you should first switch to classic mode => Text mode. paste and then switch to page composer mode. all your content will be converted to visual modules so you can get started with modifying it. you may save the template in page composer heading section and then call it back in other portfolio single posts in order to facilitate the process.

Something else regarding the main portfolio page: when you hover the portfolio images and directly click a video to play, the video only plays for 3 seconds and then stops. How can I make it play untill the end in this ‘preview’ mode?

We do this for a few reasons :
1. We have dedicated support staff that is only available though help desk. our team monitors our help desk everyday from monday through friday.
2. Themeforest comments section are not searchable and other users cannot reply. besides sometimes in the crowed your replay may be missed.

however the example you have shown is totally different from what you have mentioned in your question. the csstricks example shows how to make custom meta data for each post. we have an advanced meta for our loops. so you can add or remove anything, call any meta data within your queries and so on. what I wonder is what you want to achieve with csstricks snippet?

Thanks for the reply, however I think you misunderstood my question. I want to show code examples on the front-end pages. The css-tricks link was just to show how the theme used by css-tricks shows code inside ‘pre’ tags. I’m wondering how it looks to show code inside ‘pre’ or ‘code’ tags with Jupiter, and if you can show that on your demo. Hope it’s clear, thanks!
Oh my, We have added a good looking style for pre and code to divide them in lines, but if you need to make it syntax highlighter. that would not be a big deal. there are alot of plugins and http://wordpress.org/plugins/syntaxhighlighter/ is pretty famous one. we did not add this plugin into our themes due to many reasons :
1. Theme will be cluttered with many features as well as the heavy theme size which creates problems when your hosting upload size limit is low.
2. updating these plugins will not be easier if integrated into theme and sometimes we as theme author will miss our each of their updates and bug fixes.
3. ThemeForest new rule is to avoid any third party plugin from adding into theme itself.
so the result : you just need to install this plugin and enjoy using it. you will get updates anytime plugin’s author released any. its also good for the owner of the plugin since you download from them directly and help their community grow faster.

I am having huge problem which I’ve spent the past hour or so trying to work out. The Child theme doesnt appear to be configured correctly. I think it’s something to do with the fact that the main theme’s folder is “jupiter” with no capital because when i try to activate the Child theme, it won’t let me and says it can’t find the main theme. Then when I change the main theme folder to “Jupiter” with a capital J it allows me to activate it, but the whole theme is messed up.
Please can you help asap.

I am really sorry for the mistake I have done in child theme. you had to just change the “Jupiter” in child theme style.css to “jupiter”

I am really interested in your theme and from what I have seen and read thus far, I like the deep level of customization that can be achieved with it without the need of knowing coding work so I can’t wait to get my hands on it.
I do, however, have few questions that I was hoping you could help me have more clarity on before I go ahead and purchase the theme:
1- Is there any option where I can change the circular nature of the container of many icon boxes, staff images, blog writer avatar and similar other elements to be square shaped or diamond instead of circle? My brand has square and diamonds element to it but the circle does not blend well with my brand identity.. can that be adjusted easily or require a complicated coding?
2- is it possible to disable the color overlay and the zooming effect that appears on hover over images?
3- Are there any plans? for BBPress or BuddyPress integration soon?
4- are there any plans for video tutorials?
3- Do you provide a child theme with it so that any level of customization done won’t be affected by the updates?

1. Good news regarding such tweaks is that you can almost modify every shortcode with its built-in options (we tried to make them extensive but at the same time not cluttered with useless or less used options.) we have added an option called custom element class. so you can add your own custom class name and then add your overrides in our masterkey settings without much effort. we do help everyone in our help desk by providing them the exact css rules they need. so those who has no idea of css will not be messing around with code.
2. this also can be achieved by very simple tweaks. we can provide them for you. it wont take more few minutes of a support staff to provide it. you can also learn how to do it yourself by checking our documentation => tips and tricks section : http://artbees.net/themes/jupiter/docs
3. The main item includes a child theme which you can add all your overrides there instead of masterkey custom css options. it will also be more safe since its a file written not a db.

Feature request – When using the LCD slider / images slider etc please have the ability to also click the image to open it in a lightbox? Because if i have a small slideshow (of portfolio images) i also would like the user to click the image to view larger

1. Yes it supports
2. you can achieve this with element custom class name, and define your rules in custom css option. its pretty easy and we can teach you how to include your rules to do anything with all shortcodes. adding extra options can be sometimes dangerous, so we mostly teach users how to use custom rules.
3. Having header toolbar as sticky will make header height long which can make little bit uncomfortable. but there is also a workaround for that.
4. we option inside tabs for that.
5. Its hard coded but you can change it with just changing class name.
6. you can add mailchimp subscribe form elements very easily to anywhere you like. you can ask me how to add it in help desk and I will give you instructions.
7. what do you mean support typography?
8. yes you can, It was a mistake and we removed it. in all pages, single posts(for all post types), custom sidebar in page section shortcode and as a shortcode. all are possible

Typography – I bought 2 themes which didn’t fully support caracters like ?žš even that I used google fonts with support for these caracters.
“5. Its hard coded but you can change it with just changing class name.” – can i translate it and also a reply messeage? Is this contact form7? Alot of times I loose themes functionality cos I have to translate to my language and it is so hard coded that it isn’t possible.

1. Its not a big deal in Jupiter. I will show you how to make it possible to support non-latin or,.. characters.
2. We fully support contact form 7 and we have our own contact form. all content is localised, it means you can translate everything both in backend and frontend.
3. We will have few addistions and enhancements to shop section in coming updates and one of them is adding live box with products list.
4. you can install this product and we dont need to integrate. I guess having plugins standalone is way better than including into theme. New rules in ThemeForest do not allow for adding plugins into themes.
5. In coming updates we will add a shortcode so you can add it to banner section as well as any place in your content. this feature will be added in v1.4 and its already in our pending features list.
6. We have great plans for this item and hopefully with the help of our growing customers suggestions, requests this theme will be shaping everyones needs (not only ours ).

The last 4 answers are:) Can you change the color of body with text (without custom CSS) Do you plan to make some new headers for example logo top left with options to add some text/image in midle and on the right side and menu down under? IPAD compatibility: when I look with ipad the cart icon is gone also the contact us icon is gone. Maybe it would be better to see the site like on desktop devices. I don’t know how it shows on other tablets. What is the perfect/optimal image size for header and for full width sliders. Again, thank you very much for all the answers and keep up the good work. Wish you all the best with this project and I will support you with my grade and with buying this theme.

1. It should not show header in mobile too!! I will check this out but please open a ticket in our help desk so we can keep track of bugs or issues easier.
2. If Blog Excerpt metabox is filled with text it will used, otherwise expert will be taking content from your actual text you have inserted in editor section.
