Hiya, my website is pretty much done, thanks for a great theme! The only thing I’m not quite happy with is that the home page slide show only scrolls if your mouse is on the menu, and it pauses if your mouse is over the photos. Can this be changed so that it auto scrolls no matter where the mouse is? Thanks

Hello again, another issue 
When I get on a blog post the bar on the top of the page loops endlessly (on chrome or firefox)
In the rare occasions where it stops looping, when I click the “to blog” button, it stays on a white page and nothing happens. Any idea how I can fix that?
I updated to version 1.5 in case there was a fix for it but no luck.

Is this on the theme preview or on your website? If it is on your website try turning off the plugins you may have. If it is on the theme preview please describe exactly where are you clicking.

1 – Try adding this CSS code:#folio_masonry .grid_colored_block {opacity:0 !important;}
2 – You need to edit manually the main.js file (search for scale:1.2 and replace with scale:1 – this will affect other pages too);
3 – This is already an option. It is located under that portfolio page content;

Ok, can you help me with this please? In the main menu I need an Entry Called Collections: then under that I need 5 different portfolios and in each of them 20 “grid photos” and when I hover over each photo a description to come up : like this under collection: http://quattrowebmarketing.co.uk
The closest thing you can get to this is creating 5 portfolio pages (grid or titled) and activate the option to open lightbox. Your parent button (Collections) must be a custom link and the url should be # so that it opens a submenu without loading any page.

in the Portfolio page, in order to upload the pictures, do I have to scroll down to image 1 – image 2 … and upload 1 by 1? is there a way of uploading more that 1 at a time because I will have 50 images per portfolio.

Ok, I can’t get this to work, I clicked on image 2, and selected 43 pictures and they are not inserted, By in the media library they all show as “Uploaded “to portfolio”” ??

If you click on image 2 you can only select one image (not 43). After selecting the image that you want you should click on insert into post (make sure that you select the full image size).
You are limited to 10 images which I think is a reasonable limit so that the slider loads in an acceptable amount of time. If you need to increase this limit send me a private message and I’ll send you some tweaked files.

Hello! Thanks for your quick reply. I ended up figuring it out. I had to delete the slide and recreate it. Whenever I first create a slide and check the “hide text” box even if I uncheck it afterwards the text stays hidden. Thanks again!

1 – Because the theme features the Visual Composer you don’t need any shortcodes, because they are all generated by the Visual Composer. If you want to see them for a specific element, add it using the Visual Composer and then activate the text editor to see the post/page raw content;
2 – Mailchimp in an independent plugin so you must install and activate it (the theme is opmitized and ready for it). As for the Twitter you should have a widget called: Samba Twitter widget

Is there an easy way to put a font icon shortcode (like a video icon) into the centre of a coloured circle using CSS. Cheers. I know how to create the shape (but thx for the link). It’s getting it to work with the icon shortcode that’s proving tricky. Seems simple…. Create a disc with a coloured icon in the middle but for some reason I can’t get the CSS to effect the SC.

I used. (portfolio-grid page template) so it doesn’t happens.
Wordpress password protection protects only the page content and that’s why I was asking you the method you were using. Because this is a custom template what you are seeing it not the page content (on your page it should be empty).
As an alternative you can create a page and place on the content the Latest Portfolio element (in this case the content is password protected so you won’t see it).

I don’t know if someone mentioned this but when your under the video portfolio, the colors change for each item but it doesn’t change or match for the actual menu button so thing’s look, odd. This happens on the iPad & Galaxy S4.

The menu button color is set up for that specific button. The content does not change that button color (if you try the blog single pages the same thing will happen). This is intended to be like this… If you think it’s confusing you just have to leave the color option blank for the single portfolio or blog entries, because, in that case, they assume the current highlighted menu button color.

Is the blog your homepage? If it is make sure that you go to Appearance>Settings and set it properly. Make sure that the options “Posts Page” has nothing selected.

Well, in that case you have to set up other page as the homepage (in your case the “slider page”). You can still have your blog page on another link (your initial problem appears when you have your blog page as homepage and the Posts Page set up as your blog).

That doesn’t work for me. I have a page called Homepage with template set as Fullscreen Slider. I have this page set as home.
For blog I have page “Blog” set as posts page. the template for this page is set to blog page grid and hide sidebar selected.

On my first reply I said Make sure that the options “Posts Page” has nothing selected. You still had the Blog page selected. I removed it and it’s fine now.
If for some reason you want to keep that setting, you need to go to Samba Optios>Blog tab and set the “Blog categories page template” option to “Grid”.

I recommend you to stick the 1-click install sample content feature, because the XML import does not work perfectly on all servers. Also, I can help you with setting up a specific page/content if you can’t figure it out.

The theme is going really well, but I can’t seem to fix an alignment issue when I have the ‘Corporate Style’ home page with sections. When I set a section to have a ‘full width’ (rather than ‘Box Like’) background the content is left aligned and will not centre.
On your Corporate Style live preview your last section on the home page is also showing this issue on all browsers.
Do you have any suggestions how to fix that?

That’s a widgetized area so you need to add the Samba: Social Links widget and the Search widget to the Left Sidebar (Appearance>Widgets). Make sure also that you have the left sidebar active under Samba Options>General tab.

You need to make your parent link be a Custom Link and not a page (or a link to a page). Make sure that you set the Custom Link URL to #

a) It’s not possible to move the menu to the right;
b) You can use a higher logo, but in terms of with you are limited to the menu dimension;
c) You can change the colors giving it that look just by editing the theme options;

On this page http://www.pirenko.com/samba/titled-portfolio/ you see a Video Post. If you click on the enlarge button it opens the video player. You can have this type of thumbnail/popup on the portfolio grid and portfolio masonry layout. Is this what you are asking about?
