the theme is localizable to your own language, for this feature you have available the .po files inside the languages folder. In this sense, the menu´s items can be created by you once you are creating your menu, so this options will appear directly on your language. But a well and optimized configuration would need a complete localization of the theme.

You can modify directly from the option panel the background color for the menus and the color for the items/navigation. It is really easy, a color picker will make the job.

We will have into account the new template options for next updates. And we are adding new social options to the footer social area within the next update too.

You will notified each time the theme will be updated adding new features or improving some other parts.

I must to say that I don´t understand well the first question, do you mean a search box within the sidebars? In this case, yes, you can enable the in-built search box on “sidedbar” pages.

About videos query, you can add any of these supported formats. For this just add a “media player” widget from the page builder. It is quick & easy.

you can include in a very easy way any of these widgets, between them you will find an accordeon. All of these elements are directly managed by the page builder. Just select it and place it in your page. It can´t be easier

the site is correctly tested in IE8/IE9/IE10 before being published and these options were working correctly. Right now I have tested it again, and everything looks to be in its place in this sense in the 3 browsers.

Please, could you detail us which IE version are you running and your Windows version?

I made you some screencaps. I am using Vista and IE9. - la belle: http://s14.postimg.org/rvkc7qnnl/labelle.png (with the mouse on the middle icon). - social bar: http://s23.postimg.org/u9ee8nv97/labelle2.png. With chrome, on mouse over the icons, it goes to a coloured lozenge. Not at all with IE, all is black.

For information, the top image is with IE, the one after with Chrome. As you can see, it looks totally different and is not acting the same way.

I hope it is helping to understand what I said – I don’t know if I am very clear. Let me know if not.

I see, and this is weird. I´m almost sure that it is a Vista issue. This is not the best Windows version someone can use. I´m seeing there that this IE9 version is not rendering correctly the backgrounds for these elements that use some basic CSS3 rules. But in my IE9 Windows 8 based it renders correctly. So in this sense we will wait a little to have more feedback in this way.

make sure you are activating the featured projects check within each project in order to activate it for being used within the slider. If not, the slides can´t be enabled correctly.

Anyway, open a support ticket and we will take a look closer to it in order to understand better this issue.

the live preview is updated, you can see now how the navigation arrow between projects are not working exactly in the same way, for example. Notice that the fixes are minor issues, for example, the secondary blog pages had a couple of layout errors that were fixed too.

These modifications don´t represent any huge change on the look and feel of theme. This is not the goal in this sense.

The pre-install dark version (with switch in option panel dark/light) sounds better, than some modifications with CSS, because usually it is required to modify all graphic elements of theme too in order to get the beautifull view of dark styled theme. Can you kindly add this possibility in the update sometime in future? It will be very well for your brilliant Flamingo theme!

Also I must agree with matvej comment in the next page, all what he said is true. My test IE is 9.0.20 under win7/64. Hope, it is easy for fixing.

OK, we will study the light/dark option within next updates. While we´ll be reviewing issues like this one you comment about IE that we will fix. But it is really weird because I can reproduce it in Windows 8 with IE8/IE9/IE10 render engines with standards enabled.

It could be your server response, yes. But in any case, if you are experiencing some issue with this, just open a private support ticket and provide us with your url admin/pass to your installation and we will review this closer.

The slider is working correctly, in fact, it is running big images. Try to optimize more your images if needed.

this is one of the points we are working after the new update (it will be ready in few hours). This occurs due to an iOS bug, not Safari. iOS can´t manage correctly fullscreen images to fit as they should do with the backgrounds, so first we needed to fix this issue. To achieve it we needed to modify the way iOS interprets the site inside the ‘viewport’. This is the reason because the scroll does not recognize correctly its function. It loose the reference of the page height due to the fix for a simple feature like the fullscreen background is. You can Google about this issue.

We would like to find the better solution without go in deep modifications that could affect to the other environments only for this detail, overall because it is not a problem of the theme, it is a iOS problem. But in our hands is to fix it as better as possible.

The site is working well from a cross-browser view and it has a well support on devices. Touch gestures and keyboard inputs too for elements like sliders or inner galleries. Everything looks smooth on devices. We are working to improve until the last little detail

The only reason I say this, is that the images although fabulous are quite arty, in the real world not everyone’s portfolio is this creative, be interesting to see a different take on the artwork

In few days, while we are receiving them, we will publish a little showcase with sites using Flamingo. I have seen a couple of them that the look really amazing. And they are from the real world, I´m asure you!

Remember that a portfolio goal is to show works and projects. It is your presentation card as creative. Flamingo architecture and design just propose some ways to show them.
