Hello, when I import demo content it is download incorrectly and install not all. I have only two type of menu (top_menu and footer menu) instead of ((normal drop-down menu (default option)- wide menu- wide menu with icons (Font Awesome Icons)Type option is applied only to 1st level menu options.)) it is from documentation. And when Im activate top_menu I have problem (screenshot is below. Can you explain why? Thanks for you answer

I have just used the framework to build our company site and customised it quite alot.

margin between main navigation and slider is caused by WP admin bar. Did you see that margin when you’re not logged in? You did customized it a lot.

I have a question regardingwp-content/themes/subway/css/style_dynamic.php?ver=3.7.1 file. This file cause my page to not load fast. Would it be possible to have the static version of the file? Any suggestion to reduce the load time?

style_dynamic.php file is used for generating css based on your Qode options. What you can do is enable gzip compression and install some cache plugin (WP Super Cache or W3 Total Cache) and it will speed up your site. If you don’t want to have dynamic styles generated from style_dynamic.php file you can set Qode options the you want them, view your site’s source code, open style_dynamic.php file, copy it’s content and paste it to some custom css file that you will later include in your theme. After you do that you need to unregister style_dynamic.php.

1. go to Appearance -> Menus and for the item that you want to wide or to have icons choose wide / wide with icons type. If you want menu item to have featured posts slider select custom widget area that has latest posts shortcode in it
2. what do you mean by ‘responsive display’?

When you create row via Visual Composer, you’ll need to change it’s type to be “Section”. After that, on section’s settings page you’ll see the video checkbox (yes/no), if you check it, you’ll see video upload fileds. Since this is HTML5 video integrated, you are not able to insert youtube/vimeo videos. There are three fields for videos (webm, mp4 and ogv) and those three fields (for three types of videos) are covering all browsers (webm and mp4 are mandatory). First, you’ll need to upload video manually via Media WP module (from left side menu in admin) and then past it’s links into appropriate fields that we previously described. That would be it, video logic will resize video if needed to fit the screen. There is no limit for video size, but our suggestestion would be to keep video size as low as possible because of the page load. Also you can upload video with sound if you like. There is no option to upload just audio.

For video background only self hosted videos can be used, and you need to set all 3 video file formats because some browsers require specific file format. YouTube or Vimeo video cannot be used unfortunately.

we didn’t tested our theme with mailchimp plugin, but we know that some of our customers used our theme with this plugin. You can put almost every shortcode in our parallax section. If plugin that you want to use has available shortcodes the chances are that you can put it in parallax section. You’re welcome.

Strange issue, the current project we work on using your theme is a sport shop, with at the moment over 100 categories and over 800 products, that’s excluding variations.
The problem is that once we import all the products menu stops to work, no dropdowns are showing, and scrolling isn’t working either.
What could be the reason?
some scripts stop to work as well, in overall importing that many products/categories breaks the website, is there some php limitation setting I need to adjust on the server to be able to handle it?
for example I had to increase max_input_vars because the standard 1000 limit was unable to handle the menu size from demo content…
but what happens now is something else by the looks of it, increasing max_input_vars more aint fixing problem.

I get no error log for this issue, it seems to be related to categories, once I delete all categories, everything works

Never mind guys, I was looking for some huge cause of this in wrong places, simply increasing memory solved this problem.
What still makes me wonder though is that I had to set memory limit to 256MB, it wouldn’t work even with 128MB.
You think that’s normal?

yes, you can add custom menu widget to header top bar (black bar at the top). It won’t replace anything in your top bar, you just need to add that widget alongside existing ones (social icons etc.)

there’s this ‘small’ annoying issue with admin panel showing that there’s plugin to update after clean theme install and layer slider activation, while when you get to plugins area, it shows no updates, anything to be concerned about?

No no, you misunderstood, probably me being bad at explaining. The issue is that after uploading theme and layer slider, and after activating everything – there’s still a notification ‘1 Plugin Update’ in the admin area, while there seems to be none.

Starting to have quite big issues, things stop to work, Layout breaks out of no reason. I’ve run my project through W3C Validation, did the same with your demo. I’ve noticed unclosed divs, things like section being closed while there was no opening tag for it. There are divs inside heading tags, and heading tags inside span elements (all that is a no no), span elements are being open and left empty without closing. I would say these are the issues that cause breaking of the website at some stage.
I have to restart my project cause everything broke after importing products (the fault for this specific issue I have, could have been caused by import so not blaming your theme here, but just saying the validation errors I’ve noticed, especially not closed div tags, or divs closing while not being opened for sure aint helping.)
