Hi I think your theme is brilliant and really easy to use. I do have two questions however.
1. Is is possible to integrate a different slider into your theme. I prefer LayerSlider WP as it is more customizable, but I cannot figure out how to show the slides on a page.
2. I have added image slices which work fine until I extend the window past so far (about 1600px) and the tops and bottom get cut off the images. It is not in parallax. The image increases in size (which I want) but the height does not adjust accordingly.

Have you received my private email? I still have not solved my problem. All pages built from a “portfolio” model, do not open (bug blank page).Of course I tried disabling the plugings one by one. My source code, my files are present, I still have space on my server, I emptied my cache and tried on other browser. I also recharged my theme … still getting the same problems. My site is hosted on a dedicated server for my site to replace another keeping the same address so I do not know if you can see it without my id or without changing your terminal. Thank you. good day

I tried to do it with the visual composer, but I always have empty spaces between the sections. Also when I choose Text Block for the right area I cannot add a background colour. If I use “Service” I then can add background colour, but then I cannot add h1 or h2 for titles in this area. Don’t know what to do. Thanks. Doris

You need to assign special classes to your columns (this can be done using Visual Composer) and then give those special classes a background color (this can be done on the theme Custom CSS option).

In case anyone comes here before updating to WP 3.8, it made Samba disappear for me. By disappear, I mean the website loads, and is navigable, but none of the content is displayed. Stranger still, everything works fine when logged in as an admin, but nothing works for anyone else.

Sorry, but this does not have to do with the theme. The preview is currently running 3.8 and it is just fine. Turn off all your plugins and try again.

Wasn’t trying to say it was the theme. I would blame WordPress before Pirenko.
I turned off every plugin, then I had to clear the cache, then I was able to turn Samba back on, but I also had to reset my permalinks to default and then back to postname. Good times.

The theme has been optimized for Contact Form 7 plugin that allows the usage of recaptcha so you are ok with the contact form. I have tested this before and it works just fine.
And it seems that this plugin http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-recaptcha/ is good for for comments too (actually I think you only need Contact Form 7 and this one for both situations).

Great theme – love working with it. Just a small bug that i cannot figure out.
When i have sub menu items in the menu bar and click on the “” to expand the menu items – it does not expand – instead it goes to the page that has the “” beside it. This only happens the first time you load the site – then when you go back to the menu that menu item is expanded.

If you want those parent links just to open a submenu you must create a custom link and make the URL this: #

But i would like to give them the opportunity to either go to the projects page or expand the menu and click on a specific project – i guess that is not possible?

So, you want to click on the menu, load a page, open the sub-menu and keep the left bar opened only on this link?
When the click the PLUS SIGN – i want the menu to expand so they can pick what they want. As it stands now, the PLUS SIGN is beside PROJECTS and when they click on that (the PLUS SIGN) it goes to the project page instead of expanding the menu
If you just want to expand the menu (no page loading) follow the steps I told you above. Create a custom link with a #

Right – but if i do that and the click on the project link nothing will happen. I want the user to have the option to do both, but its looking like that is not possible

Hi Pirenko, I´m using Chrome in Win8. When you reduce de window simulating a phone, there is a big white space on the left like showing the opened menu. I´m trying on mobile phone; nexus and (old) galaxy) works perfect. We will purchase today, thanks

Are you working locally? You seem to have some strange configuration on your server… Try also turning off all your plugins for a moment.
If you aren’t working locally please forward that message to your hosting company, because it seems to be a server config issue.

When editing the slides activate the text editor instead of the Visual and place a <br /> tag.
As for the other question open the single_pirenko-portfolios.php file search for in_same_cat and set it to false (you’ll find it 4 times).
