Hi, Great product. One Suggestion from me. Please put your demo links in a more suitable place where people can find them more easily. Just my opinion. Good luck with sales.
Hey,
Thank you for the feedback. We will try to make it even easier for people to find the demos.
Hi there, Ive been checking the demos lately, and I just realized I didn’t find any masonry layouts for blogs (which is an often required feature lately).
I also didn’t see that much animated jquery ‘one page’ like in the default theme demo homepage.
So compared to the default demo, I miss an original blog layout (like masonry) and a real time scrolling animated ‘one page’ home.
Are there any shorctodes to achieve these effects or any plans to include it in future updates ?
Hey,
We definitely have plans to add more blog style like masonry in the future but currently they are not included in the theme. You can create a one page site with the theme easily. Once you’ve bought feel free to join our member area where we can help you setting up everything to your needs.
Is the portfolio post limited to fewer layout options than the blog posts are?
Hey there,
As I’m not entirely sure what you’re asking about, would you mind elaborating on your question a little bit?
With the portfolio you can set the number of posts you want per page, as well as the layout (1, 2, 3, or 4 columns). Additionally, each of our Stacks looks and functions differently, giving you a unique feel depending on which one you’re using. Also, you can easily set external project links, social sharing, and much more.
Thanks for writing in and do let us know if you need any more information!
My question relates to the individual portfolio post itself. In the demo and from the documentation it appears as though the portfolio post has 3 preset layout options; Image, Gallery, or Video. The blog posts on the other hand appear to have those and more including “Standard” which I’m assuming is a freeform page, and an option for the portfolio that I would want to use.
Hey,
Blog posts have more post formats than portfolio. So if I understand your right you want a portfolio template with no image and just text? Currently you can choose between an image, image gallery or video.
That’s correct.
Hey,
that feature is currently not supported but after you bought the theme you can join our member area which has a support forum section and we can help you to do the necessary custom changes to make this happen. Let me know if you need anything else.
Hi, just purchased and eager to get started! One question, what happens when updates come out? Shall I create a child theme?
I just read the previous comment!! Never mind
Hey,
You dont need a child theme the theme update won’t destroy any of your websites data.
That’s great, thanks. Can this theme only be used once per website?
Hey,
The current licence model is: one licence per website so if you want to run the theme on an additional website you have to buy another licence.
Awesome theme and customization !
However, is there a way to center the logo and integrate it in the menu ? (I mean for example : home – about – LOGO – contact – team)
Or having the logo centered and the menu under it ? (if the first option is too difficult to achieve.)
Also I have a problem about child themes. I’m trying to install a child theme using the instructions on the Wordpress Codex, I create my folder, and the style.css in it, but it doesn’t work, the child theme appears in the Wordpress admin, but when I activate it, my website just loads indefinitely and never displays anything.
Hey,
We provide child theme templates in our member area you don’t have to create them on your own we already did that for you. Simply go to: http://theme.co/x/go/register.php all our customers get free access to things like demo content and child theme templates as well as video documentation and a dedicated support forum.
Although some custom coding is required to achieve the header logo placement under the menu like you need it we can send you the customized file to achieve the centered logo the easiest thing to get you the file is join the members are and create a forum post about it since we can add attachments there.
Another question : is it possible to make the website one-page, like in the demo, and how to do that ? I understand how to make a parallax band (you explained it in another comment), but didn’t understand how you made the demo as a one page website. Did you write all the content in a single page ?
Hey,
Yes exactly. We just placed all the content in one long page. This will get significantly easier with our coming update this week which will introduce a visual page builder but even with the current tools it should be an easy task. Just place one content band after another and fill it with content.
Any idea when this update will be available ? (is it more tomorrow, or friday ? lol) I sure would like the page editing to be easier, especially if my whole client website has to be in a single page !
Hey,
Sorry it’s always hard for us to give a specific date since we do not want to disappoint anyone.
Ok, no worries
I have a last suggestion about the maps shortcode : you should integrate a module that allows to use either the embed link provided by Google, or the API version (which allows customization through JSON).
That way you can meet the needs of everyone, those who want it simple will use the link from Google, those who want more customization will use the API one
Of course that might be a bit more complex to achieve that, but that would be really amazing !
Hey,
Thanks for the feedback we will look into this!
This documentation is way heaps thorough eh, its super legit
Thank you for the kind words!
Is the sample site also built with the template? Is it fully customized through CSS and HTML, or are all of those features integrated into the theme and easy to design?
Also, the parts in the theme where it scrolls down and the background images change, is that feature also in the theme?
Is the theme easy to use? From 1-10, how complex is it for the average website designer to use?
Hey,
Our main site is using X but we added some custom styling to make it look a bit more special but overall all the functions you see can be recreated.
The parallax effect is a standard feature you can utilize by simply using one shortcode.
The theme is easy to use and we provide you with demo content for all 30 installations so you can recreate one of those and then edit them to your needs.
Great thanks!! Theme looks awesome by the way
Is the parallax feature built in as well? I dont see it on the shortcode list in the sample sites? Where can i find it?
Hey,
Yes it is built in. We use something called Content Band and you can set for those a background and then decide if you want to turn parallax on or off, in addition to that you also can display a background video instead of a image or a solid color.
You said “The theme is easy to use and we provide you with demo content for all 30 installations so you can recreate one of those and then edit them to your needs.” above. Does the demo content come with all the images? When its uploaded does it look 100% identical to the demo? Thanks in advance
The reason why im asking is so that i can easily upload the demo content and just sway the images and content..
Hey there,
There will be placeholder images in place, but they will not be the exact images you see in the demo. We cannot give away most of this content as it is licensed out or designed by us internally, but it’s still easy to see where everything goes and where to switch things out for your own content.
Thanks!
This theme looks awesome, and may be the solution to my problem! I’ve got a pretty picky client who wants some certain features to be exact in his website, and it looks like I can achieve them all with this theme, except a couple:
1. Fixed nav bar above logo/header: Is it possible to recreate the navbar you guys are using on theme.co/x? a fixed, full width nav bar with the same mouse-over effect at the very top of the website, above the logo?
2. Masonry blog style (I’m assuming I can get a plug in for that if you don’t offer it, no biggy)
3. Black and white blog thumbnails, colored on mouse-over.
If these features can be achevied, you will gain yourself one happy member!!
Thanks in advanced
Hey there,
Thanks for your kind words. The initial site that you land on to look at the demos is a slightly altered version of the theme to act as a sales page. We’re working on implementing some of these features into the theme, but for now to ensure that you can see everything the theme is capable of, make sure to view the demos here. You can absolutely set your navbar to be fixed, and have a great deal of style over how they will appear. Each stack is a bit different, so looking though the demos will give you some idea of what they’re capable of.
We have additional blog styles including a masonry layout on our development timeline. At this current time however, we do not have this. With a few minor adjustments, you can easily achieve this look though for your client.
Finally, we don’t support black and white blog thumbnails that become colored on mouseover. This might be something we can look into for future releases of X.
Thanks again and don’t hesitate to contact us with any further questions!
Hi Sir. That’s a really nice job. I love your theme very much after I check the demo. And seems it’s a very powerful theme. But I’m not familliar with typing code, so may I know if your posting page is visible no need program or need to type short code? Thanks for your answer.
Hey,
Thank you for the kind words, within the next days we will be releasing an update which will include a Visual Composer so you will have a visual interface for everything. But even now you don’t need to know any coding language or anything to use the theme to its full extend.
Hi Thanks for your answer. It’s a pity you dont have this feature in such nicer theme. But good to hear you would included this feature in future. So usually I design the page by using shortcode, right? But that’s much more complicate for me
I’ll keep following your update if you have included this feature.
Another questions, do you have some trial account or some way can try the admin panel?
tangcslanyu,
At this time we do not have anything like this setup, but we are using the native WordPress Customizer as our admin panel. You can activate any of the themes that come with WordPress (twentytwelve, twentythirteen, et cetera), and click on “Customize” after activating that theme and you will be able to get a feel for how it works.
Let us know if you need anything else!
Hello, contemplating purchasing asap. I would just like to know how easy it is to install all the demo data for Integrity1 and edit it with my own content etc just to learn how all of it works.
Is there an “install demo data” button within the theme settings? Is it easy?
Is there a separate settings button for the theme for setting up certain criteria other then the customize.php settings?
Thank you so much for your response!
Hey,
We provide you with all the demo data of all 30 installations in our dedicated member area. You simply download those and import them into the theme and you’re ready to go. We only use the customizer for all theme options to get an idea how easy and rich the customizer experience is make sure to check out: http://theme.co/x/customizer/
Is there a demo admin panel so that we can see and play around with the features? I’m asking because you say that’s it’s super easy to build whatever you’d like. If that’s true, a demo might help with sales, and I’d certainly be interested in poking around to see if it is as easy as you say.
If you can provide this, I’d be happy to purchase if it truly is that easy.
Hi Createnik,
The video on this page will give you a walkthrough of how to use the Customizer – http://theme.co/x/customizer/
We will look into a public option if that is feasible, but this should give you a good overview.
Let us know if you have any other questions!
First off, very nice work on what appears to be a very well thought out approach to themes. I get great enjoyment out of seeing someone create work that you know was put together with the intention of being the next big thing to come out, and tested to perfection before it’s release.
My question is simple: Is it possible to view the video tutorials before purchase?
Thanks, Nick
Hey,
Unfortunately you only can view videos when you are a buyer who is registered in our member area. But if you have any questions concerning what videos we provide and so on I am more than happy to help you out here!
I did want to go ahead and post at least the outline of the video tutorials here so you could see what we have:
Installing The X Theme – 1 Video Demo Content – 1 Video Shop Setup – 1 Video Customizer – 10 Videos Stacks – 3 Videos (1 for each Stack) Child Themes – 1 Video Page Templates – 1 Video Sidebar Creation – 1 Video
We are planning to add many more in the future based on feedback and requests from members.
We look forward to having you as a customer, and thank-you very much for your kind words.
Oops, just noticed the spacing on that didn’t come out right. Let me try that again:
- Installing The X Theme – 1 Video
- Demo Content – 1 Video
- Shop Setup – 1 Video
- Customizer – 10 Videos
- Stacks – 3 Videos (1 for each Stack)
- Child Themes – 1 Video
- Page Templates – 1 Video
- Sidebar Creation – 1 Video
Thanks for your thorough response. I’m going to give it a try.
We are looking forward having you as one of our members!
I don’t see touch icons on your demo site. Will you be adding support for iOS / Android icons?
Hey there,
While you would need to design your own touch icons, we can certainly look into adding support for uploading touch icons to your site!
Thanks for the quick reply. This is critical in a theme of this caliber. Is it something I can add through CSS customization before it is added to the theme? Also, I only see the “up to top” arrow on your first demo – Integrity Home 1 – can this be enabled on all areas of the theme?
Hey,
you can add it on your own but we recommend waiting till we add it natively to our theme.
That scroll to top button can be used on any page it’s a pretty easy thing to implement.
Best first purchase on ThemeForest – simply couldn’t resist this awesome theme. Am so excited to use it on my site!
And after a couple years
we’re honored! Great to have you on board…
The only thing I’m confused on, is the actual demo site, with the one page layout and bottom menu. Is this actually part of X or a different theme? I don’t see any of the demos that show this. Hope this makes sense, and hope you can clarify.
Hey,
The initial landing page has been slightly modified by us for various reasons. All of the demos seen here are meant to show off the functionality of the theme. Is a one page layout something you’re looking to accomplish? We are always interested in the feedback offered up by our customers so that we can better serve theme. Additionally, we might be able to help you achieve this functionality even though it isn’t an “out of the box” feature.
Finally, please make sure that you sign up for access to our member area as we do not provide support here in the Themeforest comments. Once you’re in there, we’ll be happy to assist you with any inquiries that you might have!
Thanks so much!
I keep coming back to this theme again and again the last few days, it’s really the most beautiful theme on themeforest. I sent you an email to ask a few specific questions, and if what I need is possible before buying thanks!
Hey there,
Thank you so much for your kind words. Checking our email right now to respond to your questions!

Very impressed by what I have seen so far.
I am creating a site with some directory pages, which I think would be best rendered with custom post types. Is this something that is built into your system? Even if it something like a portfolio area, which I could rename and tweak.
Hey there,
We certainly do have a portfolio that is managed via a custom post type. Additionally, we provide you with the ability to update URL slugs and titles for these pages. For example, if you ran a restaurant and wanted to use the portfolio to manage your menu instead, you could change your URL from something like yoursite.com/portfolio/ to yoursite.com/menu/.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any further questions!
Will you be adding a megamenu option?
Hey,
we are working on adding a megamenu option as soon as possible.
Thanks very much.
No problem!
Sorry I post again the same question… I just forgot to check the box to get an email notification and was not able to change that.
Hi Guys! Quite a good job you’ve done here!!!
One presale question: is it possible to set a one page kind of navigation? I mean, put anchors on the main nav menu with a smooth auto-scroll down and up.
Looking forward to your reply, Cheers!
Hi Hoyoyo,
While that is not possible now with any of our Stacks (Integrity, Renew, or Icon), that is actually something we did for our sales page at theme.co/x/ (it’s using the X theme). We have discussed internally having a one-page design as possibly the next Stack, but at this point it would involve some custom code in order to accomplish it.
Thanks for the fast reply. That’s exactly what I meant with the page at theme.co/x/.
Well, I’m pretty fond of layouts with a sidebar menu, which is provided through Stacks. Since I am no coder but can do a couple of things, do you think it would be hard to place anchors in the sidebar menu with a smooth scroll effect applied to the content only? This is usually accomplished through javascript, and I know I can get it done on a html website… But through wordpress it might get tricky at some point (scripts conflicts and stuff like that).
Please don’t bother yourself too long with that question, I know you are not doing consulting or customization here. Just a “yes it’s possible but requires experts’ heavy modifications” or “yes it’s possible and pretty easy to implement with a minimum of knowledge” would be awesome!
Thanks again in advance for your reply and keep on doing such great work!
Hey there,
There might be some creative reworking we can do to make this happen.
First off, could you let us know what look you like better? Did you want a fixed top navbar, or fixed on the sides? Also, are you simply wanting to use the theme just for the front page, more like a squeeze page or sales page, or are you needing people to be able to navigate out to other sub pages, the blog, et cetera?
Let me know and that will allow me to put some ideas together.
Additionally, understand that while X has just been released, it is very important to us to receive feedback from our users. Any ideas you have of what you’d like to see we are always interested in hearing to see if we can incorporate it into future versions of X!
Wow, that’s an awesomely constructive reply!
Well, I personnaly really enjoy fixed nav elements on desktop versions, whether it’s on top or on the side. This of course goes along with that “smooth auto scroll” I’ve been talking about. Why is that? because it allows visitors to have a glimpse at all the things that are contained in a onepage while the auto scroll is in action. If your website is correctly thought and optimized, then it will encourage your visitors to stay longer on your site and to check out everything you’re offering.
Yet, a pure one page is not a good solution (experience talking here). It does not allow you to multiply pages and links and improve your natural SEO. Outside pages or wordpress multisite installation can help on that. 1 website with separated elements skinned harmoniously though behaving differently. Not sure though this can be achieved thanks to ‘X’. Is ‘X’ WP Multisite compatible?
This si why the solution I’m looking for now is that of an awesome versatile theme (like ‘X’ is)that would allow me to set up several one page-like websites, which I think would be a nice solution. In my mind, it would kind of have 2 main nav : one stuck at the top allowing visitors to navigate through the different pages, one stuck on the side that would smoothly autoscroll through the one page. I guess the mobile touch version would just get rid of the side nav and keep only the top nav.
I know there’s nothing really new here, but this is what I’m looking for.
Cheers!
Hey,
All what you desribed sounds like something that X should be able to do for you. The only thing that might be something that is currently not included is the smooth scrolling alhough that’s something you fairly easy can add.
Awesome again! I made some research and it seems like the thing I was refering to and that I need to implement is called jquery smooth scroll (quite original, isn’t it…). Let’s hope there will be not conflict and that it won’t be to complicated to implement… Just need to wander around ‘X’ a bit more but I bet you have a new customer here! Cheers!
Hey,
If you have any troubles including the smooth scroll function we will help you with it in our dedicated support forum in the member area.
I see you are using iDev for affiliate tracking via some 3rd party ads. How do you actually track that all the way through to checkout on ThemeForest?
Thanks!
Hi there WPExplorer,
That tracking is not used to track sales. Regretfully, we haven’t found a way to do that, but let us know if you ever crack the code
Gotcha. I haven’t found a way yet (hence my asking), but it would be very useful if possible!
Good luck with sales! (just don’t steal to many from me, lol)
of course not. Feel free to reach out if we can ever be of assistance, and pleased to meet you!
