Really like your theme and keen to buy, noticed a couple of glitches though:
When viewing the portfolio (Firefox, Mac) the columns are out of alighnment – for example a 4 column layout leaves 3 with a gap and one below.
About us (long) – header image missing (Firefox Win7)
and Gallery Style Portfolio the menu disappears completely (FF Win7).
Nothing major, but would be good to see these fixed before I buy. Thanks.

Can you please share screenshot of alignment problem, as we are trying to reproduce it on our mac, but it doesn’t happen.
Same situation is for header image, we can see it.
Can you also share screenshot for gallery style issue, as I can’t reproduce that one also.

The About page seems fine on the PC now, though I had a lot of problems loading the menu – it seemed to stall after loading the page content and not load the drop-downs. Probably a hosting issue, and maybe why I wasn’t seeing it previously. Maybe the demo custom panel’s getting in the way of loading or something.
Just checked the portfolio on the mac and the layout is still off – 4 columns displaying as 3, 3 as 2 etc – probably just a browser compatibility/padding issue. I’m on OSX with the latest version of Firefox. If you can’t replicate it I’ll do a screengrab when I get a chance.

Sorry but I’ve spotted a couple of other bugs – the basket in the header isn’t updating after I add products via the ‘shop custom header’ page (FF and Safari/Mac). They’re there when I click the view cart button, but not automatically updated via the header. Also the message boxes aren’t closing when clicking the close icon.

No, Qode Slider is our custom slider and it has parallax effects on scroll and fade in/out on scroll. We are just adding video background support. Also, our theme comes with LayerSlider. It supports all you requested.

3 quick questions though:
1) i want to use the slider because of the sliding text functions, but i only want one image…so can i get rid of the arrows on either side and the slide indicator (circles) below the image?
2) when i imported by blog posts, all my post have lost the spacing between the paragraphs… is there a way to get the formatting back?
3) and most importantly, i’m trying to put in the home slider, but when the home page is set to “default” my content scrolls UNDER the slider image, not over (strangely, when i change the page to “full width” it works fine, but i dont want full width bc there are no margins)

1. Navigation stuff is always there, but we could help you to hide it via custom css by adding few lines in our custom css filed.
2. We didn’t have such situation, but since this happened, it is probably saved in DB on that way, so you will need to format it manually.
3. This is issue with z-index and we already fixed this. It will be in our next release asap. Until then, put this in custom css filed:
.content .container{
z-index: 100;
background-color: #fff;
}
4. At the moment there is no option. It could be done by changinf initTestimonials function in default.js (default.min.js)

Great Theme guys!
Question: I see that on the portfolios all your images are the same size. I bought Central theme from you guys and I had to download a gallery plugin which didn’t match the design, because your portfolio gallery didn’t support different thumbnails sizes. What I mean is that the gallery displayed the ratio of the images as thumbnails. (hope you understood) If the ratio of the images uploaded were different then the thumbnails would be displayed the same way.
Would this theme’s portfolio gallery let me upload images of different sizes and ratios?

Unfortunately portfolio doesn’t have crop of images and pictures are same size because someone can choose 2cols layout or 6 cols layout for portfolio. Cropping issue is definitely something on which we will take a look. Thanks for the note

Menu is transparent by default. You can set transparency in Qode Options -> Header and Footer -> Transparency. Also, there you can set header predefined style (dark/light) and you could do it on every page (header style) and for every slide in Qode Slider.

You should set transparency to “1” since that is not transparent, “0” is fully transparent and choose “dark” option for header style.

One small thing: “No space” portfolio settings not working properly here on FF, only on Chrome.
Some pre-puchase questions about little touches that would make it perfect for me: 1- Is it possible to disable the heart icon or substitute it for Facebook like on portfolio pages, single pages and frontpage? 2- On portfolio single pages, is it possible/easy to show the social icons from the start, without having to rollover the “share” icon? 3- On maxed out (shadowbox) pics, is it possible to have tweet/like/share buttons? 4- Is it easy/possible to have an all-dark version?

What page did you test on FF? Are you on PC?
1. You can easily disable like feature in theme settings
2. For experienced developer, this is not complex task. You can edit the php file and change the layout. Also, maybe custom CSS can handle it.
3. Unfortunately, not. We disabled lightbox default sharing as it doesn’t work well with ajax animations between pages.
4. Yes, very easy Our theme has global settings and then you can optionally override them per page.

Yes, on PC. ON FF, not Chrome, many portfolio pages, no spaces, etc, show one column less (eg 3 columns shows 2, 4 shows 3, etc) and the “no space” pages have spaces between the items.

On this machine, FF 26.0/ Vista.
I am on FF 26.0/Win8, but rest of the team is on Win7 and we also have Mac. None of the computers have that problem. I believe that problem exists, but I am not sure how to replicate it. Can you test on another computer?

Hi, i’m lost on how to set up a full page slider like you had on your preview.
I cant seem to get the included layer slider plugin (LayerSlider WP) to be full width and full height of the window size. Did you use this plugin?

Full page slider on home page is Qode Slider. You can setup it from the option in the left menu. You can find more about how to setup it in our documentation. Also, you can import demo content and learn from there. If any of that doesn’t help, we can always setup one slider for you directly on your web site You can just submit that request to http://qode.ticksy.com/ and include WP admin access
