Hello, I found the problem: logo_animation in not defined in qode_options_elision. To fix it, in wp_admin page, go to Qode Options (/wp-admin/admin.php?page=qode_options_elision_page) and click on “Save Changes”.

Height of the logo is defined by Header Height field in Qode Options > Header and Footer. Even if you upload larger logo it will resize to fit that height

I have imported all dummy data, my problem is that the Header logo and nav text on the homepage ‘white video’ slide as shown in your demo remains white, instead of turning to black when this slide appears.
I have uploaded the dark logo variation and set the slide to show ‘Dark’ version in the options but it’s still showing a white logo and nav text.
Could you please advise on what I should do to allow me to use a Dark logo Variation and Nav text.

is there anyway to insert css code so that as the screen goes below a certain width and height, that the fullscreen image scales so there is no cropping. i have a client who is a photographer and loves the template but can’t have the images being cropped more than 20% at the smallest screen size (i.e.: phones).

I bought this beautiful theme, but I have some problems with installing. I went to my Wordpress/Apperancce/Themes/Add New/Upload then I located my file themeforest-6382990-elision-retina-multipurpose-wordpress-theme.zip (I download it on my Extrenal disk). But nothing happens. Then after five minutes gets this on blank page:
“Internal Server Error

Also I would like to install my page to another page if mine. How do I do that?

Thank you for the purchase
This is probably due your server configuration as it doesn’t allow upload of large files (over 10mb large). You can still install the theme manually via ftp following instructions in our documentation
Please let us know if you managed to solve this and if you need help of our support stuff

Thank you I solved the problem. I uploaded theme directly into file manager in cpanel and then it gave me message – missing stylehseet. I found a link in your profile and I solved a problem.
The problem was i uploaded whole zip file that I downloaded insteed I should upload only elison.zip (inside the main downloaded folder) file style.css. When I uploded the right one it worked. Im just new to this so i do a lot of mistakes.

i was telling about your demo site. it works well in firefox, but in chrome, scrolling is very slow on pages with parallax. Turning on ‘smooth scrolling’ worsens it. (windows 7, chrome 32)

Yes, you can build one page site, as our themes has menu anchors functionality which allows you to link menu items to sections of the page
Elision is much more advanced theme than Central in many ways: it has page builder, advanced theme settings, custom post formats, mega menu & many other cool features

Great theme, a lot of features, beautiful look, and its easy to use for people with limited WordPress experience.
Question: Is there a way to create the loading animation on the home page for the first time the page is loaded by a user. My home page has the full screen Qode slider (no video), and it takes a while to load, but the menu loads well in advance. It would be cool to have that animation so that the user knows that that something will load up in that area.

And one more question: On my slider, the link buttons are not functional when the buttons are placed away from the center of the slider. It seems that the left/right slider buttons are triggered in these areas instead. I have one button in the center and it functions properly. Is there a way to fix this?

First Off, I love this theme…
I have one thing I can’t find and it was a major selling point for me. The animated banners where you can put the button over the image??
and on the subject of the buttons, mine do not work like they do on the demo site. They don’t have that subtle animation where they widen out on hover??
Any help would be appreciated.
OK, figured out the button over image thing… BUT now a new question… Is there a way to disable the fancy scroll bar?? and when I change the height of the header just a little.. down to 110px in the admin, the scrollbar disappears along with the ability to scroll even with my mouse wheel??

I’m having trouble importing the demo content. I’ve followed the instructions (gone to Q code import, selected all, ticked the attachments box). Safari waits a bit, then goes to a white page.

The problem that can happen to import is always related to configuration of server and its limitations. For example, common problem is maximum execution time limit most of the servers have so process is interrupted after for example 60 seconds. That’s why we recommend to run import until it’s finished. Also, our demo site has many images and it will take time to download all of them.
Other solution is to run import without attachments (download all images).
