How do I replace the Google Map image on the content page with a static photographic image instead?

You can replace map with image only if you edit contact page php file (template).
Regarding choosing predefined header style, you can go to Qode options > Header and Footer and configure your header there

I can’t get the header to work like it does in the live preview. In the live preview > header style > white is the option that I want because it gives me a white navbar. When I go to Qode options > header > Header Style > Light. Nothing happens after I save the changes. Same thing when I try dark. Then I tried #FFFFFF with Top background color and still nothing. No matter what I do, the navbar is transparent. How do I make it work as easily as it does in the live preview?

there is also on page configuration which can override global configuration. You should also check that one. If that doesn’t help, please submit the WP admin access via ticket to http://qode.ticksy.com/ and we will check your configuration and explain you what the problem was

Thanks for the quick reply. Can you tell me where “page configuration” is? I don’t know where to find it so I’m not able to check it as you’ve mentioned. Is that “Global Options” in the Qode options area? I’m working on this website on my local computer in order to not interfere with my current website so I’m not sure what the best way for you to check this would be. 1. what do you mean by video background sections? are you saying only vimeo and youtube are supported in blog post, gallery and or portfolio? This would be aweful for me, because ‘all’ my content is videos’ and I purchased because of the selfhosted feature.
I have to have selfhosted video support in either the portfolio or the gallery – I did read in your support forum that there is an update coming up soon – what is “soon”?

I guess that can work, but I would save the effort to do all of that as we will add self-hosted videos support to portfolios, blogs and in video shortcode. We are working on next version and we plan to release it next week.

If you mean on http://screencast.com/t/lokbTn0B5mM , that is our custom shortcode that is integrated in VC, and there is no option for two columns.
If you mean on Qode Slider at the top of home page, there is no option for two columns, you can enter image for slide, it’s thumb, title, description and link. Also you can set widh of that content and it’s position.

The is one truly amazing theme but before I purchase I have a few questions I need answered quickly if possible.
We just launched a new site is Pulsedharmonix.com .. theme Nevada. If you could take a look at our current site re the questions below, I would be very grateful. We are seriously discussing your theme before we put in the product pages in and finish the build.
1. Can the Qote slider embed a youtube video like we do in the Revolution Slider. We are doing a lot of YouTube and need to show them in the sliders if possible
2. We are using CCGallery on our Media page http://pulsedharmonix.com/video-center/ will this work with Elison?
3. Also we are using the Social Slider Pro on the right side of each page. will it work?
4. We have one more plugin… Smart Product Viewer… will it work?
5. On the Interactive Banners, can they be resized and have 4 or 5 in the row?
6. Our team has long bios … will your staff page accommodate a lot more text?
7, We need a forum for our users. What would you suggest if I buy the theme.
8. Our color is red. Can I modify the magenta … that appears to be a bit more pink. If not, if I use the gray … does your typography allow for color selections. Thanks so much!

1. Unfortunately no, those are self hosted videos, embaded as html5 feature, so we have fully control upon resize.
2. It will work without ajax page transitions. But probably will not work with ajax page transitions, since this kind of plugins are embading js scripts in header or footer, and with ajax, those sections are not reloaded, only content, so if you come from some other page to gallery page, probably it’s js would not be initialized.
3. Same as second question.

5. 4 in a row is possible, but unfortunately 5 is not.
6. Yes, this is ordinary text
7. We noticed that our users are using “bbPress”, but if you want to work it properly you’ll need to disable ajax page transitions for this (you have options to disable ajax only for particular pages). Also we didn’t support styling for this plugin, so probably you will need to do some css tuning.
8. Yes, you can change every color in our theme through our Qode Options.

Yes I do… are you saying that Revolutionary slider will work?
Yes, it should We used it in many older themes, but switched to Layer in newer themes as it has better options for what we want to demo
When I click links on the Qode slider to take me to new pages, the slider goes to the prev/next slide (based on which half of the photo I click) instead of taking me to the target link.
The links in the header work, I’ve even tested this out using a link outside of my website, only gives me back and forth. I’m running this as a child theme.

I have a very peculiar problem. I have been working on the template for a few days now. I checked into wordpress this evening and the template is gone. I saw for a brief moment a space holder where the template image was under Themes and it just had a clear checker board graphic with the wording “Cheating Huh?”. Now the template and everything associated with the template appears to have disappeared… please can you tell me what the problem may be?
I have re-uploaded the template. Seems to have installed, but content is no longer linked. How can I prevent this from happening again?

Hello QODE, Im trying to making some of the first level menu items with drop down menus not clickable so that the user is forced to choose from the dropdown menu. Ive checked the “don’t link” option but that still does not help. Also, how can I remove the comment counter for posts so that “No Comments” does not display on the page and Is there a way to make the Image Hover elements open in a new tab?
