I love the theme, but I have one question. Is there a way to set my home page to be the static front page and the posts page? Basically I want a rev slider (in the below masthead area) with the posts underneath it (in the content area) and still have home highlighted in the menu.

Due to the way WordPress operates, there is no way to have a static front page that is also your posts page, you will either need to select one or the other under your Settings in the WordPress admin panel. While at this time sliders cannot be present on any index page (i.e. blog, portfolio, shop, et cetera), we are certainly aware that some users would like this and have added it to our development timeline.
However, we could assist you with this in our member area to make this update to the theme via one of our provided child themes. Additionally, all official support for the theme is offered via the member area so you will definitely want to sign up there and direct all future questions to the forum where one of our staff will be happy to assist you. Please, in your demo page, i did not see any option or feature for specifying page templates such as Header and no Footer, Footer and no Header, No Header and No Footer, etc. Please, kindly assist me as to where in your demo i can find these great features.

Thanks for writing in! At this time we don’t really have demos setup that showcase this feature since it’s simply a removal of the header or footer on the page, but there are some examples around that you could check out such as this one that has no header or footer. You can see that when this is activated you have complete control over the page and what kind of content you want to place on it. This is great for marketing squeeze pages, sales funnels, informational pages, newsletters, et cetera.

You are absolutely correct. You can find them under the “Template” dropdown in the “Page Attributes” meta box, which can be found in the sidebar of the edit screen for your pages. The current list of “Blank” templates is as follows:
- Blank – Container | Header, Footer
- Blank – Container | Header, No Footer
- Blank – Container | No Header, Footer
- Blank – Container | No Header, No Footer
- Blank – No Container | Header, Footer
- Blank – No Container | Header, No Footer
- Blank – No Container | No Header, Footer
- Blank – No Container | No Header, No Footer
The “No Container” layouts are what allow your content to span the entire width of the screen so that you can take advantage of things such as the parallax background images. All of our homepages for the most part are built out with this template. A great example of this is our Integrity 1 demo.

Many Thanks for your precise and excellent response. I so much like this feature. For instance, Blank – container | Header, Footer has a completely empty container with no Slider inside it. I hope i can use this particular template for the home page so that i will populated the container myself?
You got it! The sliders are optional on all pages except for post index pages (i.e. blog, portfolio, shop, et cetera), so you can easily turn them on or off to suit your needs. Using the “Blank – Container | Header, Footer” would definitely give you an empty container for you to place any content you want inside. You’re already on your way to becoming an Xpert.

I have a couple of pre sales question about this theme.
I’m close to start a project which requires to be AA accessibility level compliant, so I’d like to know wether the WAI-ARIA landmarka roles present in your theme will give me a good starting point to reach this objective. Maybe it’ll be enough as to reach an A level?
The second question concerns the creation of child themes from this one: Do you recommend this practice with X theme, or is it better to simply try to customize one of the three pre-designed stacks?

The WAI-ARIA landmark roles are only one facet of accessibility and are intended to assist users with disabilities browsing the web (typically screen readers). Should you require any advanced accessibility standards for your project, you will want to ensure that you thoroughly investigate all that that entails for your particular situation.
Regarding child themes, we provide users with ready made child themes that are compatible with X right out of the gate. Child themes are always recommended when administering updates to a theme due to the fact that it makes maintaining these updates easier and it ensure that your changes won’t get overwritten in the even of a theme update down the road.

1. We can help you to display something different instead of the date or the date and something else in that section. That’s a thing that is very easy to achieve.
2. Due to the nature of responsive design the image always will try to cover the whole width of the container, you can however with some custom css limit the width of the image.

1. You have to click the little + plus sign on the upper right corner of the site to make the widget area visible.
2. You can achieve that with some little custom tweaks we can help you with this.

You cannot put a search box directly into the header, although we are aware that this is something a selection of our users would like and we have added it to our development timeline. The theme features an area we call the widgetbar that can be expanded by selecting the widgetbar button in the upper right hand corner of the screen of the theme if it is activated. You can see this feature in action on our Integrity 1 demo. This is a widget area just like the footer that allows you to select how many columns of widgetized areas you would like (one to four columns are allowed). In this, you could easily use our [search] shortcode to place a search form for users to see.

The theme looks great! Congratulations on your success with it! However, I do have 1 concern. While there seems to be practically unlimited design possibilities with pages and layout…it seems as if the navigation menu is incredibly limited and not too styled. Sure, the colors and size and font of the nav menu can be changed, but there doesn’t seem to be much diversity or effects there.
With that, my questions:
1. Is this something that can be edited w/i the theme’s options itself?
2. If not, then is it something that can be customized via CSS?
3. Regardless of #1 or #2, is it possible to replace the navigation menu with a plugin or modification found here at Themeforest (like Mega Menu or something)?

Thanks for your kind words!
1) The things that can be edited in the theme options are size/height of the navbar as well as location (static top, fixed top, fixed right, fixed left). You can also set things like background color for Renew as well as a transparency option to pull through the background color as in the Integrity 8 Demo. Of course you can also change font size. When you add this all together there is a lot of uniqueness you can add to each design. In future Stacks, we will add new navigation options dependent upon the design and functionality, however those are the key options that can be easily edited from within the theme currently.
2) Yes, we have had several customers change things around with CSS, so dependent upon your CSS skills this is absolutely possible.
3) We have not tested for this and as such since this would be integrating with a 3rd party plugin, it would be something you would have to look into and customize on your own.

Great theme, I have a problem. The slide can be inserted into the blog page? If I create a page with slide and forced to see the items, see the pages. If I leave the items on the home posts are ok, but slide shows “Welcome to our little corner of the Internet. Kick your feet up and stay a while.” I can not customize. “MARKETPLACE USERNAME (CASE SENSITIVE)” Finally, it does not recognize my username ”” maestroryuken. “Please I have to deliver in 2 days an important project.

For example, a lot of users want price filters along with various other extensions to allow visitors to easily sort listings. If this is the cause, then regretfully X will not be a great choice for what you are looking to accomplish as we do not provide this type of functionality in the theme by default.

Dependent upon which colors you are trying to change, most of this can be done in the Customizer (link, button, type colors etc). You can also add custom CSS to the Customizer as well. I have used VC extensively and had to “cheat” my way around some of its limitations – after 5 minutes with your theme I was laughing in delight – you guys nailed it!!! Congrats and thank you – what a MASSIVE time saver …. one click Parallax on the content bands – AWESOME – I had hacked the original VC to add custom ids to the rows instead of classes THIS WAS SO MUCH EASIER !!!
This is not a “theme” with VC installed – this is VC on steroids – these guys took VC to a WHOLE NEW LEVEL – basically VC is used as the layout engine all the elements are customized and incredibly easier to use.

we do not use native Visual Composer shortcodes, we use our own set of shortcodes which only work with our theme. One thing we do is shipping our shortcodes within a plugin so when you move themes your content won’t be broken. Hope this helps.

So if I move to an other theme witch uses the bootstrap grid everything should work ok with your shortcodes plugin.

5. We provide a simple shortcode generator without visual interface, for visual shortcode building you will need to use the Visual Composer.
6. we have the WooCommerce in separate installations to showcase them but you also can use them within any installation, there is no particular reason why we’ve chosen to do it like we do it now.
7. http://theme.co/x/demo/integrity/1/ just click on the parent links blog, portfolio,.. and so on instead of going into the drop down then you will always stay in the installation.

Sorry about that, here you go:
1. The shortcodes are overwritten to use our own grids and built in styling. Everything is output using our own systems via Visual Composer.
2. Unfortunately, I’m not quite following this, Can you please elaborate on it so that we might provide you with a thorough answer?
3. Again, we utilize our own grid, and there are some nuances to how this is implemented due to Visual Composer, so you might experience some issues in switching but this has more to do with the confines that we have to work in with Visual Composer rather than the theme. If you do not use Visual Composer and utilize our shortcodes which are included via a plugin, your structure should stay with you if you need to move to another theme.
4. We have dozens of videos included in our member area which you can signup for upon purchasing the theme.

1. We use our own custom grid for shortcode layouts.
2. As of this time, there are no plans to utilize this.
3. That is not possible at this time.
4. We utilize our own grid for numerous reasons, the first and foremost being customizability and complete control over our system. We understand Bootstrap might be a good sales pitch, but we’re interested in truly developing unique systems that are custom tailored to suit our purposes and not just use another framework because everyone else is using it. There are aspects we have borrowed from Bootstrap, but we have customized them to fit our own needs.

I wanted to use a shortcode from Visual Composer called ‘Posts Grid’ but I couldn’t find it in your version of VC.
The advantages of this shortcode is that you can select the specific category(ies) you want to show. Right now the only thing I could find on your version was the ‘Recent Posts’ shortcode. Problem is you cannot select which category to show and the limit is 4 posts.
Any details on how I can do this? Or will the ‘Posts Grid’ shortcode be added on a future update?

One feature I like on a lot of themes is where images and text areas move in when you slide down a page…. for example…

Secondly I need product pages with the same layout as woocommerce where you have the products listed, can click on to get more details etc but don’t want the actual shopping cart etc (don’t want people buying from the site) Is this poss?

1. Yes we have a fade effect you can check it out on Integrity 1 for example.
2. You can use our Portfolio section to achieve this since it’s basically also good for showcasing all your products and when you click you give the customer more information about it.
