Hi, question about translation. Is it possible to translate your theme? We made a PO/MO files and changed wp-config, created folder named languages in theme folder. And it still doesn’t work. We work on child theme so maybe this is a problem?
Podcaster has yet to be translated. As you might have noticed I did use a text domain, to make translation easier when I do come around to adding it. Unfortunately I can’t give you any pointers as to what might be going wrong at the moment. Really sorry.
Short Blurb option doesn’t work on default page template.

Yes, the theme now supports social media icons which appear on the right.
ok, but how many customers have more than 3 – 4 social profiles? It looks like you reserved 1/3 column for text and 2/3 for social icons. Maybe it’s a good idea or maybe not. You’ll see how it goes. I mean let’s wait for other customers opinion. In my it should be 1/3 for icons, 2/3 for text

I noticed there are no sections to add social buttons. Is this something planned? Love the theme, would buy it if social sharing was integrated.
Also i noticed on the individual podcast pages there was no image in the header. is this because it was not uploaded or because it is not possible?

Good to know Just one thing, you can already easily embed soundcloud as it is. Simply use the embed code to post both single files or playlists. Or is there anything special you have in mind?

It’s a phenomenal little plugin. I have a site that has been using it for a while and would love to switch over to this theme. Having default support would make it that much easier I’ll probably end up adding it myself in the next few days regardless though.

Great theme. I’m definitely interested in purchasing, but I have a few questions.
- I notice there’s a podcast archive and a blog archive. How are these two separated on the homepage? Is this done by category?
- For the podcasts on the homepage, are the images that are shown Featured Images?
- Are you able to change the font easily from within the Theme Options? I’m guessing this is pulling from Google Fonts.

1. Yes, the podcast archive and blog archive are separated by category. The category for the podcast posts can be set in the theme options.
2.The large (background) image must be set in the theme options. The smaller thumbnails are Featured Images of each post.
3. At the moment, Podcaster only has two font options. Sans-Serif (which is Raleway) and Serif (which is Lora) . It does not have a dropdown menu with all Google Fonts. This might be added in the future.

- There’s nothing in the documentation that explains how to use the Theme Station Shortcodes plugin, but there is an example page in the demo theme for shortcodes. Will this be included in a future version of the theme, or is there documentation online showing how to use your shortcodes plugin with this theme?
- Is there a way to speed up the loading of the main audio player on the front page? In the demo, this loads very quickly, but on my site, there’s a noticeable delay when the page loads. The audio is being pulled from an external source (Simplecast).
- The author photo for blog entries are not showing up on the Front page or on any blog pages. I believe this theme uses the images connected to the Gravatar account of the author, and even though I have an image set for my profile, it does not show up on the theme. Is there a way to fix this?
- Is there a way to change the height of the audio player and the volume bar? They’re a little thin.

1. Just FYI—the button is invisible on the WYSIWYG editor. It only pops up once you hover over it. See this screenshot: http://prntscr.com/3d0z9l. It would still be nice to see some documentation on how this works (besides looking at the sample theme).

3. I fixed this issue—looks like Jetpack interfered with this, but there’s a setting under Settings > Discussion where you have to turn on avatars. They’re off by default.

I also submitted an additional ticket, but haven’t heard back anything, so I’ll keep an eye out for a response.
The shortcodes for creating buttons doesn’t work on the Theme Station Shortcodes plugin (http://prntscr.com/3ealyi). Alerts, columns, tabs, and toggles work just fine.

How do I change the color of the hearder? I want a white or transparent header…. But the styling section under the sample options is NOT working at all. Please, help!
Hi, thanks for purchasing Podcaster! This theme does not come with the option of changing the header color in theme options. You can choose between two templates (classic and dark) and then change the highlight color as you wish Could you explain what you mean by “styling section under the sample options”?
To change the color of the header, you will have to make a customization. I’d recommend making use of the child theme and pasting this little bit of code into it’s style.css:
.above { background:#FFF; }
Please keep in mind that this means you will also have to adjust the link colors for that section:
nav .thst-menu li a {
color:#000; }
Can we create playlist for each podcast ? Thanks.
If you use SoundCloud to host your audio files, you can embed playlists as well. Just use the embed code for the playlist and you are good to go. If you are self-hosting, unfortunately not.Good idea for a feature that could be added in a future update.

Nice theme, but there seems to be too much white empty space at the top and the white and grey empty space at the bottom. I am not technical, is there an option to remove this space?

There are no theme options to reduce the white space in the header and footer, but that sounds like a good idea. Might be included in a future update, but for now you would have to override using a child theme. Thanks for the input
