Is it possible to create an unlimited subscription system for 1 year for example ?
You can set the subscription limit to 1 year, but I am not sure what does unlimited subscription mean ? A student can only take a course only once, to take a course twice the instructor needs to reset the course for the student to allow the student to take the course again.

We will not be selling courses. We just want to use it as a portal for our current staff to up-skill themselves on certain compliance etc.

Yes. WPLMS Quizzes are independent in nature. But in order to give certificates and badges you need courses.

Firstly: WOW, what an amazing theme. I have been looking around on Academy, and also learndash, sensei and WP courseware plugins but when I found your theme, I realized the search was over 
My question: I am currently trying to install the demo and as such I need to get to your support forums. But when I try to register and answer either MACINTOSH or DOLLAR on the anti-spam question, I get a reply saying that my answer was incorrect..
I checked my javablockers, ad-blockaddons and such in chrome and they are off.
Do you know what might be the problem? And could you perhaps do a manual register for me to the forums, my email is albin@modernmindfulness.se and the account name could be mindfulnesstraning.se

Ohh, another question: How do I upgrade my forum account so that you know that I bought the Theme. (so I can view the FAQ and guide threads). I tried to put in my envato accountname modernmindfulness but it also says *validation code required but I do not find any field to put in my validation code ( and I honestly don’t know where to find the code either haha)
No need to upgrade. The forum is free for anyone to see and ask questions.

Yes the above security points are very important… If you want to provide a serious lms then these are things you need to think about. If this stuff could simply be passed around, copy and pasted etc then what is the point…
Videos should either be pulled from an assigned id which is only assigned when a paying member requests and is only active for 1 hour from generation. Video should be also be broken into multiple fragmented videos and pulled together in a viewer for a paying user. This stops it being easily downloaded. Maybe there are other better methods but I know companies like Netflix and Lovefilm use methods such as these.
If your not taking security very seriously then quite honestly, your not taking your teem very seriously.
It would be like creating an image print ecommerce theme and a user being able to right click and view the source image…(pointless)

Regarding the videos, your ideas are good but these simply do not ensure the privacy of your videos, without a proper hosting solution your videos can never be secure.
And I hope you’re not expecting me to provide you a private video hosting service at this price point.

Hi, Yes security is very important for a theme running courses.
1. Perhaps you could explain exactly how and where the actual course is protected?
2. Are the pages really private? If so how does this affect search engines?
3.Are snippets only available for search engines?
4. Is it possible for people to see code anywhere and steal the course or access a course somehow without payment?
5. We know Videopress and such offer secure video hosting but what about the rest of the coursework? If we put pages of info for course work on there how is it protected?

1. The theme is fully secure. We have coded it using best practices. Try it out. Try accessing the course as a student. Try accessing a unit as a Student without a purchase. It is open for you to test it out.
2. Yes. Search engines can not crawl the private units. Free units are accessible to all.
3. No. This could be a big security issue if search engines can access it, because this means I can access all the protected units by spoofing as a search engine bot.
4. I understand your concerns, we’ve added security parameters all along and at every action the user is verified by a security parameter.
5. Rest of the course work is fully protected. All the pages and ajax calls pass dynamic security parameters (wp_nonces) which is validated for every user. Everywhere, the custom sql queries are coded with best practices.
We have strictly followed the WordPress architechture and not even a single table is added in your WordPress database, which means no custom queries to insert or extract data, which means lesser vulnerability. II. Gap fill and selection boxes are already inbuilt in the theme. Sorting is a nice suggestion. Adding to feature requests.*Is option (gap fill) included in the newest version? I can’t see it in the demo site and in docs.

2. Hosting WPLMS on Amazon S3 is something we haven’t tried and it is up to the buyer to explore this possibility.
Hi There, Good theme. I’ve got couple of questions. Is it possible to add videos from vimeo pro account? Is it possible to encrypt video link so users can’t pass to their friends? I want to host this AmazonS3 is it possible? What kind of security care you have taken in terms of payment and course viewing and spamming?
1. All iframe videos are supported in the theme.
2. No.
3. Hosting is outside Theme scope.
4. Payments are handled by external third party plugins which are hugely popular like WooCommerce, to control spamming we’ve recommend few plugins in the Documentation which we’re using in the demo site as well.

After a user get to be chosen as an instructor by the admin, does he have the ability to login to the back end wp dashboard to start uploading his course materials, setting a price for it and publishing it by his own, with no admin involvement?
Yes, after a user is chosen as Instructor she can start building the course.
But the setting up of Price (that is creating course products ) is currently in the hands of administrator.

When are you guys thinking of doing an update were visiting instructors get to sign up and add up their courses, set price, publish them and wait for the admin for content approval, it’s not all about the administrator sometimes, no instructor would be willing to give his course product and wait for it to be published by another person it’s really a turn off. Can you guys add up this feature in the next update?

Hi, i cant upload this theme, it just shows me blank page with question “are you sure you want this?try again” everytime the same i have changed memory settings and after tried to upload like normal theme but nothing. Have any suggestions?

Hi guys. I’m trying to change the language for courses, using the es_ES.po that is located in vibe-course-module plugin. Is this correct? I edited the .po this but nothing happens. I also edited the .po of the WPLMS. I edited both .po english and spansih but nothing changed there. Any idea? Thanks!
Make sure you add the .mo file as well in the same language folder

No. This feature is currently not present in WPLMS.

Yes. WooCommerce extensions should be compatible with WPLMS without any issues.
Pre sales question:
1) Is there anyway to show the number of notifications without having to click on the user menu (top right?).
2) Do notifications appear through ajax or page load. If page load.. how could they be ajaxified?

1. This feature is currently not in theme but can be easily added.
2. Notifications is a part of BuddyPress. And currently, it does not appear via ajax. Which part of notifications you want to be ajaxified ? All notifications or notifications view ? There are some interesting plugins available in this domain to enhance this functionality.

under the quiz results, how do we disable showing the correct answer?
no worries, i figured it out in the results.php file
The Correct answer is only displayed to the Instructors or Administrators. The instructors also see what all answers have been given for a particular question by the students. This information is not displayed to Students. We built this so that an Instructor can verify the questions ( appearance, look and feel ) and manage the answers. Let me know if this clarifies.
