Is it possible to grant 1 month course access and a longer period for forum access like 3 months for example?
Once a student joins the course, she becomes a part of the group and forum permanently. The subscription access is only valid for course contents and units. However, Instructor has the access to manually remove students from groups and forums.

yes, video hosting services like Vimeo etc provide this facility to show video on certain domains only.
Seems like a great theme and i’m interested in buying. A couple questions.
1. What are the custom plugins that you’ve created that come with this theme?
2. Thinking about the future, are the plugins separate from the theme or are they built in in a way where they can’t be used separately. In the future would I be able to use the custom plugins on a different theme or am I stuck with this theme forever if I go down the road of using your system. This is an important consideration if in 3 years from now you’re no longer improving this theme or for whatever reason I want to go with a different layout or look.
WPLMS package is designed in a way which is easier to maintain and customise. There are 4 custom plugins in the package:
Vibe custom types : responsible for Storing content , the LMS.
vibe course module : the connection between LMS and WP+BP+WC
vibe shortcodes: the shortcodes used in the theme
WPLMS customizer : to customise WPLMS.
We’ve followed the buddy press template architecture for WPLMS, so the system is mostly independent of the theme. However there are certain hooks which are required to be overridden to make the package independent of the theme.

If the Vibe Custom types and Vibe course module plugins aren’t used, will the website still look largely similar to the demo version? I’m just trying to understand what/how much will change with the absence of those plugins.
I’m hoping to use this theme as marketplace, where instead of an instructor, the instructor = seller, student = other members who plays the role of purchasers.
Will this be possible?

Vibe Custom Types and Vibe Course module are basic building blocks for the template to function as an LMS.
If these plugins are not used, then you’ll still get the styling for buddypress components, such as :
1. Activity
2. Groups
3. Forums
4. Members and profiles.
I would not recommend you to customize these plugins for seller and member type, simply because it would take a lot of customization and time to achieve this.

Does this theme work with any major membership plugins?
What I want to do is create different membership levels such as:
- Free - Starter - Premium
So Free would contain basic courses, starter would include a few courses, and premium would include ALL courses.
Ideally I want to use the membermouse.com plugin. Do you think this would be easily achievable?
Ideally wplms should work with all membership plugins who use wordpress users for memberships. you just need to disable free registrations and mark all courses as free for members to access the courses. We have not tested the theme with membermouse plugin.
is this compatible with the new woocomerce 2.1.5 ??? I haven’t update the latest vertion since I have made many customization to the one I have now.

A few questions:
1. I don’t see where instructor actually goes to create his courses. Say he just has an ebook or video that he is selling. How does he set that up? Is that what units are for?
2. Is it possible to just include links to download products there? What about hosting them on Amazon server. For woocommerce there are plugins for that, not sure about your system.
3. What is the point of the “Shop” now. It looks like every product I click in there just goes to shopping cart
1. Instructor details are given in the front page, so you can check it out.
2. Yes, you can use courses to sell products. Everything you can do on WooCommerce is possible in WPLMS. You can allow users to download the product with WooCommer ceproduct purchase. Hosting these on amazon server is possible.
3. The shop is ideally meant as an interface to buy courses. Since, you can bundle multiple courses in each product you can use shop to cross sell and upsell products. There is also a setting in options panel to totally remove the product and cart page while purchasing a course. So technically you can download the product after clicking on taking a course and purchsing a course.
Can you explain #2. How do I do this. I started a course as an instructor and there are no options to attach files for example or other woocommerce features
1. When you create a WooCommerce product, you can add the downloadable attachment which is available upon purchasing the product. You can also force download the attachment upon purchase. This is a feature available in WooCommerce itself.
2. Apart from this in WPLMS, you can attach files (simply upload a zip file while creating a unit) in units which are shown at the bottom of each unit.

hi! i have bought this theme…. fantastic work! i have a question, how can my instructors monitor sales? i have seen that they can see the number of students, but they haven’t a statistic of the sale
Currently there is no such provision for instructor to monitor the sales. This information is accessible to administrator in WooCommerce reports. However, we’re tracking the number of courses “started” by students and will add more graphical statistics in future, like number of students completing quizzes, courses, units etc..
Excuse me, but I really need help! About the update … I entered the username and API key but nothing happens. Is there a way to do the update manually?!
There are currently some issues with Envato API, due which updates are irregular.
1. What kind of security system installed copyright content in the template?
2.When do you plan to do an update 1.5.?
1. WPLMS does not allow bots/Curl requests to scrape through the protected content. Apart from this a Member subscribed to a course has full access to the copyright content, also there are some enhancements coming in this regards in the next version, where in you’ll be able to bind content with courses which will stop instructors from accessing other’s units.
2. We’re focussing on fixing bugs and CSS fixes right now. Major feature upgrades will start after next week.

Hello There,
Me again… I am having issues with the testimonial page… for whatever reason, ONLY 2 testimonials are appearing on the actual testimonial page… however, ALL of the 6 testimonials are appearing on the homepage (like the testimonials are on the demo).
I did notice that the permalinks are different from the demo testimonials and the one’s that I’ve created…
For instance, the demo permalinks is mywebsite.com/testimonials-1 … The permalinks for the testimonials that I’ve created is mywebsite.com/testimonials-3-2 and mywebsite.com/testimonials-4.2

I try to use vimeo to build the couse I use the Shortcode Generator -> Videos, but when I update the page disappear the video, is a 2 hours video, how is the correct way to embed vimeo?
Yes that is the right way. Make sure you’re only using the iframe code. Can you email me the video iframe embed code at vibethemes@gmail.com.
