Do you recommend another plugin? This one won’t suite us very well.

This was a pre-sales question but I am no longer interested. I thought this was a plugin rather than a theme (a plugin is what I need). The question was, can you have custom page titles and page descriptions for each knowledgebase article and category. That’s about as straight-forward of a question as I could have asked so not sure how to dumb it down further. Obviously, the objective is to “achieve” custom, SEO-written page titles and page meta descriptions for each article and category.

The tagline in the demo logo is included in the logo image. The theme doesn’t show the tagline text in the header.

KnowHow uses the WP posts as the knowledge base, so you can’t have two sections, whereas in Support Desk the knowledge base is a separate section.

The search in this theme is powered by the default WordPress search, which out of the box doesn’t do an amazing job. But, there are a few plugins that can greatly enhance the WordPress search such as: http://wordpress.org/plugins/relevanssi/ which customers have been using successfully.

My main concern is the Video support not working in IE8. You have this mentioned in your Theme description: Video Post Format Support (YouTube, Vimeo Embed & Self Hosted)

This is standard WordPress behavior, excerpts only show raw text rather than any styling, shortcodes etc

If you want to specific the excerpt you can do when by populating the excerpt area when creating/editing an article. This will avoid them being blank.
