In “Courses” in Curriculum, once the section and units are added and published, how these can be edited / re-arranged / deleted?

You can simply edit the course in WP Admin panel and remove and rearrange the items. To edit, you can simply remove the items and add a new one.
P.S: There is a bug fix coming in this area in the next update. Currently multiple changes are not updated at once. You have to do it one step at a time and click update.

I really like this theme and it has a good potential to scale any project at any level.
If you can help me in understanding a little bit more, it would be great -
I want to revamp the course structure in such a way that it will be a company profile for any user.
So instead of course there will be company profile..like angelist.co, and all the updates related with the company will be registered in the activity theme.
I am really really looking to buy this and if you can help in reconstruct this module I would buy instantly and it would be great help for my project.

Hi, Thanks for showing interest, but this theme is built focussing on LMS elements. We have a big list of features which are waiting to be implemented as a part of WPLMS. Unfortunately, we’ve not been able to give time to customization projects as of now. So, you may have to explore this option yourself.

We are ready to explore all bye ourself, but would like to know will there be any possibilities thorough which we can customize the LMS system and convert to module that we want.

We do have a similar feature request in place. The issue is mainly with slugs, there are constants defined in the theme which handle the slugs and custom post types, these can be renamed and changed into any similar structure. But since we’ve not yet fully implemented this, I would suggest you to wait till this feature is fully implemented. You would save a lot of time and customizations this way. You can follow us on Themeforest to get notifications about the updates.
I’ve been working with buddypress for quiet long time, and I knows that this is something a breakthrough features.
I know I am asking too much – but if you can release the feature or help in customization that would be great.

We’ve scheduled updates till mid of April. We have Course Assignments and Front end courses. So, this feature can only be added after the above two major features have been released.
If a instructor have many course, how he can arrange questions and Video into the corresponding directory. This will help him easy to manage all his course. Ex:
Course 1 --> Data in Directory (Folder) 1
Course 2 --> Data in Directory (Folder) 2
Course 3 --> Data in Directory (Folder) 3
There is a “Mine” link in WP Admin panel to filter out My courses, my units, my questions, my quizzes etc.. refer : screenshot 1, Screenshot 2, on the front end the Instructor has an Instructor dashboard which shows the latest activity in the course.
Forum option called ‘Reply Threading’ – “Enable threaded (nested) replies” seems to be buggy. Could you please test and consider an update around this? Thanks!!

Yes you can change the entire color scheme of the theme. We also have Live CSS Customizer in the WP Theme Customizer, which you can use to change almost any styling in the theme Live.

Is it possible to track the length of a students session with this system?
Currently, there is no inbuilt provision for this, primarily because WordPress is stateless (it does not rely on sessions management).
Hello I bought the theme and it’s doing great so far, nice work! But well, I have a couple of doubts:
1 – Layer slider couldnt be installed, it says that the plugin has invalid header 2 – I cant create a ‘Login’ section just like this live preview here. Neither my buddypress or woocommerce will have this page so how do I do this? And related to that, after my clients gets logged in, to which system will they log, to wocommer, to buddypress or WPLMS? I’m a bit confused about this login system, it would be wonderfull if you can clarify this register workflow for me. Thanks in advance!
1. You may want to try the Package could not installed FAQ.
2. After installing the theme you should get the Login link in the top header. However, for the signup link, you need to enable “Anyone can register” setting. WooCommerce + BuddyPress share the same WP login system, WPLMS is integrated with BuddyPress.
Nice. It means that logged users will track their courses as well as the orders/invoices and then with this same login they will discuss on foruns, etc right? *sounds too good to be true lol but I’m liking so much

If we purchase, can we set up “on demand” (take anytime) courses?
Can we offer some courses for free and others paid?
Currently there is no such provision in the theme. Once the product which is connected to courses is bought, the maximum duration of course/subscription is set. This duration is validated when student pursues a course.

You can use it, simply choose not to install the other plugins in the theme (dismiss the notice when it appears in WP Admin), but you’ll be missing out on lot of other features. I would want to use this site as an LMS as we’ve designed it

On my localhost setup, if I change permalink to anything other than default (say post name), if I click on any course, it is giving me “The requested URL /al/course/basic-of-nature-photography/ was not found on this server.”. If I make permalink default, then it works fine, but “forum” is showing not found error. Please help.
The permalinks recommended for WPLMS & BuddyPress is postname , you may want to checkout this forum thread in BuddyPress for this.
Hi, Im looking to potentially buy this theme for a project im working on for a learning provider and have a few questions:
1) We want to offer tuition and classes to our learners as an online package and our students will likely need the material to accompany the courses – is it possible for students who sign up to the course to also get access to the needed materials too automatically once the course is purchased? For example a download link revealing itself?
2) Are there videos and online documentation showing us how to use this theme and all its features somewhere? Also would you consider releasing a video explaining the different functionality of this theme? I am fairly new to wordpress but have a bit of knowledge and im wondering whether there is any coding required in this theme? Or is it all purely through the menus? Videos would definitely help swing people on the fence like myself into buying so we have some form of safety net to rely on.
3) Thirdly – If I was to purchase this theme and use it on a test website – am I then able to transfer the theme over to another website once I’m more familiar with it? Or does the theme lock itself to a single domain which can then not be transferred? If this is the case is there any way around this? I know some of my plugins require me to input my website address and then if I ever want to transfer them (and remove them from the old site) it causes a bit of a headache emailing support it so thought I would ask.
4) How are the videos for the courses stored exactly? My hosting provider limits the file sizes so I know increasing the hosting package will be required but do you have any advice/views on how the videos are stored for the courses? If uploaded to youtube it would be giving our training material away as anyone could view them so im wondering what options your aware of in this respect to get around this so only students who are signed up can view them?

1. Yes, you can connect your course package (ebooks etc..) with the product which are downloaded when the product is purchased.
2. You can refer to online documentation here. We plan to revisit the documentation once all the features in WPLMS are complete.
3. There is no domain locking. You can transfer the site just like you would transfer a WordPress site. Refer to WP Docs.
4. There are 2 ways supported in the Theme for this. You can upload the videos in your server and embed them directly in unit/course content.
You can upload them to Youtube/Vimeo etc.. and embed them in the unit/course content.

Would highly recommend using the Layerslider for all the slider needs {packed in the theme}. I haven’t been able to update vSlider from a very long time.
Can instructors check list all students buy they courses and total $? Ex: If have 50 students buy a course with price 20$/course. The instructor can check info (user name, profile, date, month purchased course….) of these studens and total $ = 50×20 = 1000$ .
The sales data is not shown to instructor, because product creation is under administrator domain. We’re open on taking inputs/suggestions on how statistics should be shown.
The instructor should be check statistic of his course. If not, he cannot know he earn exactly how money from his course. Can administrator set permissions for any account to check some statistics?
Instructor gets to see stats such as : How many students started the course/unit/quiz, how many people finished the course/units/quiz, what is the average marks for his course/quiz, how many students earned badges/certificates etc.. Since the sales data is stored in WooCommerce, we’ve not yet integrated the sales report for Instructors, but moving forward this is a good suggestion.

When someone wants to take a course for free. but not registered. and click on the button “TAKE THIS COURSE.” not sent to the registration page. only reload the page. As I can do to make this button to send the registration page? I updated the theme today (1.4) but still does not solve this problem. that I can do?
