Hey is it possible if I got Renew 10 demo?

Sorry dumb question. Found it. How set the menu navigation to click down like a one page design?

okay nvm found it. thanks :)

No worries, my friend!

Hi,

I am trying to figure out why when I attempt to install the plugins it says The plugin does not have a valid header. Downloading install package from http://builtbykcc.com/wp-content/themes/x/framework/plugins/x-shortcodes.zip…

Download failed. Forbidden

Can you please help me?

Thanks for the quick response! Could it be because we have already used the Theme on one project and I was trying to use it again? Do I need to buy additional licenses for more projects? Are they the same price? Great theme by the way, my partner used it on a site already and it turned out awesome!

Sorry just went up and read the purchase details. Duh. One project only. Thanks guys!

Hi Amy,

Thanks for your kind words :)

The license is for use on a single domain, so if you wanted to use X on another site you would need to purchase another copy through your ThemeForest account. If you are still having any issues related to the message above, feel free to open a thread in the forum, and a member of our support staff will be happy to help. Cheers!

We are so thrilled to be able to share this product with our current and future customers! Should you have any pre-sale questions, please feel free to post them here and a member of our staff will be happy to help.

Hello! Didn’t page through early questions- Before we buy- How quick is the load time?

Do you have a general rule of thumb for keeping a short load time in mind (ie no videos, sliders, etc add more time to load, etc) Thanks in advance! -J

Hi There,

You can see comments such as this from an actual customers of ours. While we have done what we can (and continue to do) to streamline the code, most of the improved load time is achieved by a combination of a good web host (memory availability, disk space), optimized site content (images, videos), as well as proper use of a cacheing solution.

Let us know if you have any other specific questions about the theme, and we’ll be happy to help. Cheers!

I am curious. You have three style groups of templates, Integrity, Renew and ICON. There differences is just in the design not the features, is this correct? Is all the features available with all three groups?

Thanks

That is correct!

Thank you!

Our pleasure :)

Good evening.

I’m needing a couple of new responsive themes this week. Everyone seems to be talking about “X”, but I’m not seeing any real websites using it. The example sites provided within the theme seem insufficient to warrant its purchase.

Anyone have any live sites developed with X?

Thanks much!

Hi There,

We are working on a customer showcase, however it is not available publicly at this time. The demos give a good example of some of the many possibilities available within X. Should you have any other specific questions about the theme, feel free to let us know. Cheers!

Hello,

I have just one question left. In the short code, can I add HTML. Specifically this: [CODE]<a href="#"><img src=" URL_IMG-1 " onmouseover="this.src=' URL_IMG-2 '" onmouseout="this.src=' URL_IMG-1 '" /></a>[CODE]

Thanks!

Hey there,

Thank you for writing in! We apologize if you feel our response took a little longer than expected, we were merely waiting to get an answer from the correct team member to ensure that we had everything in order. We do our best to answer questions as expediently as possible and thank you for your patience while we do this.

Shortcodes themselves output predefined sets of HTML based on what they are trying to accomplish, and there is no way to alter these. Additionally, you appear to be putting your HTML between a [code] shortcode, which I assume is meant to reference our [code] shortcode. If you take a look at that page again, you’ll see that this shortcode isn’t meant to output actual functioning code on your website, it is intended to share code snippets with your users if needed. If you need to output standard HTML on your WordPress website, you can simply do so by activating the “Text” tab in the editor (top right of the editor panel) and entering in your HTML like normal. This is the standard way for inputting raw HTML into your WordPress website.

Thanks!

Ok. Thanks apologies.

No worries, just wanted you to know you were not being overlooked :)

Awesome theme! Does it have a calendar for events?

Thank-you, my friend! There is a calendar widget integrated into X, however there is no advanced event planning feature built in, simply the standard WordPress calendar functionality. Let us know if you need anything further, my friend!

Pre-Sale question.

Is there a template available for the look of the main demo page. Not the lists in the demo section but the demo page itself where the nag spans across the whole screen and remains fixed while scrolling. Specifically this page and the nag beneath the image that read “say help to X” http://theme.co/x/

Thank you!

Alex

Hi Alex,

?That page is our sales page, however it is based on the Integrity 1 demo (just with one page functionality instead of a standard site), so if that is the look you are going for, you can use our provided demo content to recreate the Integrity 1 demo found in our member area. The only difference will be the navigation as it was slightly customized for our needs. Let us know if you need anything further, my friend!

Hi,

can I have exactly the same demo content as it is featured in the demo pages. I´d like to build something like this: theme.co/x/demo/integrity/9/ but it´s challenging to do it from scratch. It would be great to have that page somehow. I can´t find it in the downloadables and the demo content xml seems is pretty useless for me.

Thank you guys! Great theme!

Hi There,

You sure can! All demo content is available in our member area so you can recreate the homepage of Integrity 9 very easily. Registration is free, and you can do so here: http://theme.co/x/go/register.php

Thank-you for your kind words, my friend!

Hi Themeco,

First, let me apologize for the long post, I appreciate you taking the time to respond.

I was wondering if you could let me know if the following is possible:

I would like to use the blog post option to display different types of entries. I would assign these blog posts to different categories and add these categories to the menu so that the posts will be displayed on different pages from a user perspective. I would like these to display differently on each page so that it is obvious to the user, which category they are viewing on the site. This is also useful because each category has its own display requirements. Is this possible?

Additionally, I would like to add a search bar at the top of each of these pages to allow the user to search posts that belong to that category only.

I would also like for contributors to be able to add posts to the site, preferably from the front end. I would like to be able to restrict the categories they could assign to their posts based on user privileges. Can you suggest a suitable plugin with styling integration with X that would allow for this?

Finally I would like there to be a rating system where visitors to my site could rate the posts in a star system or some other similar way that fits with X stylistically.

Could you please let me know if these requirements are possible in X? I would be open to hearing alternative methods of achieving this setup even at a high level. I am sure the forums will fill in the detail if X can do these things.

Thanks.

Hi There,

All of the things above are related to customizations you would need to do after purchasing X and would require either your own custom coding to achieve them or hiring out a developer to create it for you. Let us know if you need anything further, my friend!

So nothing that I have listed above could be achieved natively with X? Sorry, I tried to make my question as clear as possible in the hope you could provide some slightly more specific information on your product and its ability to meet my requirements. Could you perhaps elaborate further please?

None of those features would be available out of the box for any theme as they are highly nuanced and specific. Any time you start trying to filter certain posts to a certain page and to certain users you get into lots of things that go beyond the scope of a theme (membership systems, user permissions, etc). As there is no rating system integrated into X, that is also something you would need to investigate on your own as we do not provide support for 3rd party plugins unless they have been integrated into the theme such as Revolution Slider, Gravity Forms, Visual Composer, etc.

If you have any specific questions about the theme, we’re more than happy to help however when it comes to customizations that can be done to the theme after purchase, essentially anything is possible but what you are asking for would require serious development work.

Hopefully that helps clarify a bit. Thanks!

Hi guys, it seems with X i found the flexible theme i was looking for. Before to buy it, though, i need to know if with this theme is possible to have an events page, with the upcoming events shown in the home. Thank you very much!

Hi There,

We do not have any integrations with events functionality so you would need to develop it yourself/hire out or use a 3rd party plugin. Our policy regarding 3rd party plugins is that well developed plugins should play nicely with X, however due to the unlimited scope of 3rd party pieces of software, we can not provide support for them unless they are integrated into the theme such as Revolution Slider, Visual Composer, Gravity Forms, etc. Any potential issues that may arise when using plugins that are not integrated into X by us would need to be investigated and dealt with on your end as it would go outside the scope of support we provide. Let us know if you have any further questions, my friend!

Hi, I’m looking to buy this theme. Does this theme support a central logo with links either side, responsive and adaptive?

Example:

Link 1 Link 2 Link 3 LOGO HERE Link 4 Link 5 Link 6

Hi There,

this is currently not possible. We can help you achieve a centered navigation with a centered logo above but the setup you’re trying to achieve would be not easily doable especially due the fact that the responsive behavior would have to take into consideration. Sorry!

Hello

I am interested to purchase your template and would like to know how much extra does it cost me to purchase your optional Cool Video Header?

James Hee

Nothing additional :)

It’s included with the theme purchase, my friend!

That Great! Are you able to provide a link for me to see how to create a video header?

Instructions are in our documentation and member site which people can access here after purchase: http://theme.co/x/go/register.php

Hello, I’m currently trying to buy the theme throught Paypal but I receive the following message/error :

Return to merchant and try a different payment method We are not able to process your payment using your PayPal account at this time. Please return to the merchant’s website and try using a different payment method (if available).

I bought other things from Envato and it worked… wondering if you have any suggestion on the way I might get to buy/download the theme.

Best regards,

Hugo

Hi Hugo,

That’s most strange as we haven’t heard of that before. It sounds like it could be something with your PayPal account? I would suggest getting in touch with Envato – support@envato.com. We’d love to have you as a customer :)

Hi, I’m interested in the theme but I’m wondering if there are just too many options for a more advanced WordPress user. I use genesis, and woo canvas (without using the options) for many projects but I like to use themes for fast projects for friends and family. The issue I have with many themes is they’re just not developer friendly and build specifically with end users in mind. So trying to override simple css leads to using !important )= How friendly is this theme for someone like me. Do you guys have a demo site to see the dashboard?

Thanks @aronwp

Howdy,

Thanks for writing in! With X, we really wanted to make it a priority for the theme to be equally usable and accessible by “end users” as you say and more seasoned developers. While there are certainly an extensive array of options to work with in the Customizer, this doesn’t hinder you from harnessing X and altering or customizing it to suit your needs if desired.

With our provided child themes and templating system where we utilize different “Views” to output markup for our various Stacks and page layouts, you’ll find it’s incredibly simple to overwrite markup as needed, and you can just as easily utilize these child themes to enqueue additional scripts or styles.

Also, our shortcodes are built to be developer friendly as well (on top of being easy for the end user) as there are attributes for including your own IDs, classes, and inline styles to alter the appearance or functionality of elements easily as you work your way through your templates. Many shortcodes like our [content_band] shortcode are built to be easily used by both camps and to be incredibly flexible to afford you the ability to do whatever you’d like with them, and all of our shortcodes are stackable, meaning you can literally combine them in practically any way you can imagine with some exceptions to create limitless layouts.

We have had countless users on both sides of the fence comment to us on how much they like using the theme for more extensive projects that are more developer intensive and for more simple projects where they just need to get things up and running quickly. We’ve also had users from all over the experience spectrum state how much they enjoy working with X, from self-proclaimed WordPress newbies to business who run countless client websites and do web development for a living.

Hopefully this has provided a little clarity for you on this situation. Regarding the Customizer, there’s a demo video of it here that you can take a look at to get a feel for how it functions.

Thanks!

Thanks for the detailed reply. The customizer looks cool. Definitely going to have to spend a weekend playing around. Thanks

You’re most welcome!

Hi please let me know where I can find the documentation to make the theme like it is showing in this demo

http://theme.co/x/demo/integrity/6/

Your help is appreciated.

Thanks

Hi There,

All of this is available in our member area under the Demo Content page. There are also several video tutorials on setting up the theme and demo content. You can access all of this by registering here: http://theme.co/x/go/register.php

Cheers, my friend!

Hi there,

bought the theme for use on www.thatfilmguy.net it looks awesome thanks. Just a couple of questions if you don’t mind:

1. How do I change the size of featured images in searches? They’re massive and I would want them much smaller and aligned slightly to the left if possible. 2. I’ve added a search bar to the bottom of the main menu on the right-hand side, but I’d ideally like it at the top of the menu beneath the logo. Any ideas on how to do this?

Howdy!

Thanks for your kind words!

Just so you know, all theme support is handled in our forums. If you have not registered for access yet, you can do so here: http://theme.co/x/go/register.php

All our best, my friend!

Cool have done.

Fantastic :)

A pre sales question here :-) Is there a possibility to have a full width slider in the content area that displays team members? That would be awesome!

And, not to mention, a reason to buy the theme :D

You can add different layers (text, images, etc) anywhere you want in Revolution Slider just keep in mind the width of your site and the fact that everything is responsive as all of this will determine how much real estate you have to work with.

Are the team members custom post types, since I can add them to a slider?

Hey there,

There is no team members custom post type with the theme. Revolution Slider is an isolated piece of functionality we have bundled into the teem and does not integrate with any post types. Any type of functionality like this would be custom and you would need to implement it on your own.

Thanks!

Hello there!

I have selected Renew/01 style for deployment.

Moving a simple blog over to X – nothing fancy. No real problems. But I am missing a way to scroll between ‘Next’ and ‘Previous Post’. Not seeing an option for this.

Have I missed this, or is this feature not implemented.

Hi There,

Thanks so much for your purchase! Just to let you know all theme support is handled in our member forums, and if you have not registered for access you can do so here: http://theme.co/x/go/register.php

Once there feel free to open a new thread, and a member of our team will be happy to help. Cheers!
