Pre-Purchase question – how do i create tables? i want to show a spreadsheet like table.
thanks
Hi There,
You can check out our Column Shortcode or even modify our Pricing Table Shortcode as that’s got sort of a grid/spreadsheet feel. Let us know if you need anything further, my friend!
Want something like this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/s5crgzelgifnbof/Screenshot%202014-04-19%2002.07.30.png
If you want something specifically like that you would need to develop it or hire a developer to custom code it – nothing hard to do just not a specific option that is available in X.

Do you have any non-profit pricing? We are a 501©(3) non-profit organization supporting educational projects : ashanet.org
Hi There,
Thanks for reaching out!
Regretfully, there is no special pricing available for 501C3’s as all prices are set and managed by ThemeForest.
Hello, first of all, greatt theme! I feel in love just looking at the 2nd demo (That never happens) , now I have few questions as for example:
1) How can I include my own logo instead the name of the blog?
2) Where do I put the shortcuts?
3) Do you guys have any video-tutorials explaining how to set up a basic design? (Just to get an idea of how to work with this framework). Thanks!
Hi There,
Thank-you for the kind words! We’re in love with it too
1) There is a logo option in the Customizer under Header.
2) Do you mean Shortcodes? If so, there is a plugin that is included with the theme download from ThemeForest that has the plugin included.
3) Absolutely! We have dozens and dozens of videos you can access in our member area here: http://theme.co/x/go/register.php
There you will find video tutorials, a knowledge base that covers everything from how to setup the theme to updating the theme and plugins to individual videos on each Shortcode, plus much more. We also have a member forum in there which is where all theme support is handled.
Very excited to have you in the Theme.co family!
Thank you so much! I’m going to check it out right now and If anything, let you guys know!

You’re most welcome. We’ll see you in the member area should you need anything further!
Can you use the ecommerce part of X for class registrations? I want to use it to enable people to register/pay for cooking classes, and have an image and description of each class, # of seats available, and dates of the classes. Can this be done with X’s ecommerce module? Thanks… this theme looks very exciting!
Hi There,
That would be a question for the WooCommerce folks and either way would fall under the customization realm which is each customer’s responsibility to implement once they purchase. We simply provide styling for all the WooCommerce shop pages (in our case 3 designs, one for each Stack).
Let us know if you need anything further, my friend and thank-you for the kind words!
Is there any way to avoid having to redo my entire color scheme every time there’s an update to this theme? I have different themes for other websites I manage, and the colors don’t revert to the default scheme when there’s an update for them.
Hi There,
You should not be having to do that. Feel free to open a thread in our forum, and a member of our support staff will be happy to look into this for you. If you have not done so already, you can register here: http://theme.co/x/go/register.php
Many thanks!
Can you please place a widget or two underneath the vertical menu? Would make it easier to fill the space professionally underneath the menu!
Hi There,
The widget areas are fairly set (header, sidebar, and footer), however you can use other elements like a content band to layout a page any way you see fit. If you need help with some spacing of elements, feel free to open a thread in the forum, and a member of our support staff will be happy to help.
If you haven’t registered for access yet, you can do so here: http://theme.co/x/go/register.php
Cheers, my friend!
hello just bought the theme and I ll install it in the next hours but first I d like to know if there is any instructions file with the settings to make it look exactly in this format ex. http://theme.co/x/
Regards Nicu
Hi Nicu,
We provide video tutorials and instructions for using the theme in our member area, and you can register here: http://theme.co/x/go/register.php
The theme.co/x/ page was created as a sales page for us, however you can come very close to that with the Integrity 01 Demo with the only difference being the navigation. There is a video that walks you through how to recreate that demo exactly in our member area under the Knowledge Base page.
Cheers, my friend!
Hi,
seems that you removed all visual composer shortcodes and replaced them with your own shortcodes, right ?
I have a few websites made with the help of visual composer, if i install your theme i will have to work on the layout of each and every page allready published.
Could you please confirm ?
Thank you
Hi There,
We can show you how to re-anable some of the native VC Shortcodes, however it would get a bit messy and it would not be our recommended approach. The only reason some were removed from our integration with VC is because we already had a Shortcode that functioned in the manner VC had in their plugin.
Since we have customized the integration of VC to work with our own Shortcodes, you would have to do some modifying of old pages built on the native version of VC. This is fairly standard however and similar to how when you change themes, there are always things you have to go back and update to work within the new theme’s way of doing things.
Let us know if you need anything further, my friend!
Straight to the point. It is exactly what I like with visual composer, you can change the theme and it doesn’t affect the layout, or the work made with shortcodes.
I’m one of thoses who think the shortcodes must apart of a theme. By the way you have your own shortcodes in a plugin, it’s a good thing.
In fact i have hundreds of raw and columns on every pages. I will need to clean all the previous shortcodes if I want to use your theme. Sticking with visual composer shortcodes would make things much easier for people in my case, at least trying to keep the original raws and columns shortcodes would help a lot the visual composer users to migrate. Problem is that VC insert so many of them in our pages when working on layout …
If you come to combine the “old” VC shortcodes with yours or if you know a workaround, let me know. . Of course i don’t want to go a “not recommended approach”.
By the way I really like the way X works. A new generation theme for sure.
Totally understand your position (and we agree Shortcodes should be kept outside of the theme files which is why we put them in a plugin as you noted).
Thank-you for your kind words about X!
If I move to X, then lets imagine I want to change my theme again,
I will be abble to move visual composer and your shortcode plugin together to a different theme ?
I’m really looking to stick with a shortcode system or software on wordpress.
Technically our Shortcodes could work with any theme, however the styling of the elements was done for use within X so some elements would look a little off in other themes.
Regarding your question and Visual Composer, that would be a question you would need to direct their way, although I assume their answer would be about the same as part of their target market are people who want to use their page builder on any theme.
I cant find any XCS (.json) files for the demos in the bundle which can be downloaded from themforest. Where are the files?
Hi There,
They can be found in our member area under the Demo Content page. If you haven’t registered for access yet, you can do so here: http://theme.co/x/go/register.php
Cheers!
Hello, I wanted to buy your good looking theme and try for my customers, but there are some problems with the sub menu on tablets. I’m using Android 4.2.2 on a Asus tablet (Asus Memo Pad fhd10)
I have tested your demo site (f.i. http://theme.co/x/demo/icon/9/) on my tablet with Firefox and Chrome.
With Chrome the 1st submenu is opening only once !!! and the 2nd submenu not at all.
With Firefox the 1st submenu is shown but not clickable. The 2nd submenue is not to open.
Could you help me, please
Hi There,
Couple clarifying questions as the menu is working just as it should on our end and there are no outstanding issues related to menus on tablets from any of our customers.
1) You are visiting http://theme.co/x/demo/icon/9/ directly in your browser right? Make sure you are not visiting it with the ThemeForest iFrame (from clicking Live Preview on our ThemeForest listing) as that is known to cause issues with navigating a site.
2) I just want to make sure that you also realize that the first menu item under Home – which is Integrity – is a placeholder so it is not meant to be clicked and can’t be clicked as it won’t go anywhere. It was setup to function that way.
3) What do you mean by 1st submenu and 2nd submenu?
4) Keep in mind that those menus are huge as we have a lot of content to fit in there for demo purposes and most navigations would not have anywhere near that amount of items.
Thank you for your quick response, 1) yes, I visited http://theme.co/x/demo/icon/9/ directly in my browser 2) Browser Firefox: – Clicking FEATURES -> 1st submenu opens: 01 – 05 > 06 – 10 ….. – But it is not possible to click at it
- and the 2nd submenu behind 01 - 05 >
Stacks
Experts ......
which is opening on my Notebook,
it is not opening at all at the tablet
You’re welcome.
I just checked on an iPad and all items there are opening just fine. Regretfully, I do not have an android device to check, but we also do not have any other reports of this from any of our customers, so my guess is it is something with your device.
Is there any reason why this theme updates aren’t available through the admin interface? I have to update it manually.
Hi Heather,
It is something we are looking into, and while it’s not technically hard to implement an automatic update feature for a theme, the issues arise when you have people who have made edits to the core theme files as opposed to using the provided child themes (if and when they automatically upgrade, their changes could get overwritten). We are looking into this for a future release and are about to release an automatic update feature for our Shortcode plugin.
Great theme!
But I have one question (past two days I can’t solve this problem):
I’m trying to create a website exactly the same as this one (only to understand with the theme itself): http://theme.co/x/demo/renew/10/
, but I can’t customize transitions in navbare to the page. I clicked the “Mission” and now must go to Mission section’s, but this isn’t happening.. I already tried a lot of ideas, but they do not work as it is necessary
Please help …

Hi There,
Just a quick note that as of June 20, 2014 we have switched our Renew 2 and Renew 10 demos for organization purposes. The Renew 2 demo is now a one page example (using the Renew Stack) while the Renew 10 demo is the fullwidth colored bands. We wanted to pass that on to avoid any potential confusion since part of your question and/or our answer had to do with those demos. Cheers!
hi I bought a high-end theme through Themeforest a few months ago and found the Pagebuilder and Layer Slider entirely uncooperative and was unable to use the theme at all. It was impossible to get my content formatted in the page anything remotely similar to the demo. I’m worried I might run into the same with X. I am not a web designer and know just enough HTML and CSS to get myself in trouble and really don’t expect to need any of it when I buy a WP theme of this quality. I’d like to believe X will be reasonably easy to format but need some reason to believe that. Please comment.
Hi There,
The best thing you could do would be to read through some of the actual user reviews on our listing. As you’ll see, there is a broad range of experience levels in those reviews. We feel X is a good blend of high end functionality mixed in with an intuitive interface allowing beginners and seasoned developers alike to build amazing sites. At the end of the day, every product has a learning curve, and this is no different with something as dynamic as X. We have put together dozens and dozens of video tutorials, knowledge base articles, and other member resources including demo content, a forum, and more to help people along their way.
All our best, my friend!
Thanks for being honest. Is there any way to be able to see inside the functionality before purchasing, or to have a trial version that allows me to play with it and that times out after a few days if I don’t purchase?
You’re most welcome.
There is no trial available, however you can check out this video of our Customizer in action: http://theme.co/x/customizer/ as this is how the structural and layout options are set in X.
Feel free to let us know if you need anything further.
ok that video just shows how to change easy stuff like fons and background image once the page is all set up. But my concern is this: 1) To create the look that I see in the demos with multiple sections doing down a page, I will need to go into the Text tab and insert the Shortcodes (and X surely has alot of them!). If so, that looks easy. Am I correct? If there was a tutorial that showed how to get all the different cool sections within a page that would be comforting. 2) I hope Revolution Slider is more user friendly than Layer Slider. Is there a video about how to code it? I appreciate your patience, and I’m almost sold…
Our Shortcodes are included in a separate plugin. They will be found as an Icon in the visual editor when creating a page.
We also provide demo content in our member area (home page specific demo content for our demos so you can easily recreate the looks of them if you like).
Revolution Slider is an advanced plugin, and anything that allows that sort of versatility will take some getting used to, but by in large we hear nothing but great things about the plugin, You can read more about all their features here.
As we communicated above, there will be some time required to learn our way of doing things and some of the many advanced controls built into X and our integrated plugins. We have put together a large selection of video tutorials and other resources to help our members along, but at the end of the day, you must make the call as to whether X is the right fit for you as answering whether something is “easy” is not a question we can answer as easy means different things to different people. If you have any other specific questions about the theme, we’re happy to answer them.
Cheers!
great, thanks. Plz advise where I can access the tutorials.
Sure, they are available to customers after they purchase, and they can be accessed here: http://theme.co/x/go/register.php

All Our Best,
Your Theme.co Team
I am looking to purchase your theme and apologise that I am a novice. I wanted to know about integrating an email signup through Mailchimp into a header or slider image – is this something that you can do via shortcodes or do you do this via a plugin? In general does the theme integrate with Wordpress plugins?
Hi There,
No worries at all
We all have to start somewhere…
You could definitely integrate your Mailchimp autoresponder code, however to do it in the header or slider area would require a bit of customization on your part. You can add it via text/html areas of the theme as well as in the sidebar or header/footer widget areas when using the text/html widget.
Our policy related to 3rd party plugins is that unless they are integrated into the theme in some way (Revolution Slider, Gravity Forms, Visual Composer, etc) then we do not provide support for them. The implementation, customization, and troubleshooting of any issues that may arise are the customers responsibility. Technically speaking, since X was developed according to development best practices, any well developed 3rd party plugin should play nicely with X, however due to the virtually limitless nature of things that can and often times do go wrong with software, we can’t support something that we have not first developed or integrated into the theme.
Let us know if you need anything further, my friend!
Thank you
Not a problem at all.
Hello
I am looking at buying your theme, first off I must say looks AWESOME. On your demo there is the large that says “Say Hello to X” is there any function (present or future) to turn that section into a slider? I would personally prefer to have it as a slider instead of a static image.
Thanks in advance
Thank-you for the kind words!
And yes to your question. If you look at our Integrity 01 Demo (with the video background), those are slides on front of the video, so you could simply not activate the video and use slides only in that header feature area.
Let us know if you need anything further, my friend!
Just a quick one, should be on the forum I know but couldn’t find my login for it.
http://www.clearlypossible.com/How come the posts at the bottom I’m only getting one to show, I have it set to 3? Any idea?
If you have set the count to 3 and followed all the steps as shown in the code examples here, one of our developers would be happy to help you in the forum, and you can register for access.
There is a link on that page that shows you how to get your transaction ID for registering. If you have already registered, you can login here. Feel free to use the forgot password link if you can’t remember your info.
Great theme.
How do you enable/disable responsiveness?
Thank-you!
There is no option to turn off responsiveness currently. We’ve had a couple requests for this so it is something we are looking at for a future release. Cheers!
Thanks for the quick response. The text and various elements are responsive, but images (at least as far as I can see at this point) are not. Is this correct?
You bet! No, your images will definitely respond.
I have been exploring and researching this theme for about a week now. Being new to wordpress and having never purchased a theme before, I wanted to shop wisely before committing. While the pro list is quite substantial, there is only one item on the con list that is holding me back. While Themeco boasts “the last WordPress theme you’ll ever have to buy,” it looks like this would be one theme that I would have to buy over and over and over again. While $60 seems reasonable, I have three personal sites. $180 is getting up there in price.
A few questions:
1) Should I decide to purchase X for just one of my sites, I have a quick question about installing it on my Dreamhost account. I would be using the theme on a domain with several subdomains. Each subdomain has its own dashboard with a one click Wordpress installation. With the single license purchase, will I be allowed to upload the theme to each of the dashboards as long as the domain is the same for all? (Hope that makes sense!)
2) In the future, do you anticipate that Themeco might add other pricing options? Maybe one for multiple personal sites and one for developers/web designers? (Something less than 3K!)
3) I noticed that several potential buyers have asked for details on the refund policy. I understand this is ThemeForest/Envato policy, but I cannot seem to follow any of the links provided in this forum. Can you simply state what the policy is if a buyer is unhappy with the theme? Does Themeco offer any kind of guarantee to their clients?
4) The demo site is full of graphics and features and yet it loads quickly and smoothly. Very impressive! Is this what we can expect with sites built with X? Or does the demo site contain something special? I would love to add content like this, but I don’t want my readers to experience a lot of lag.
Thanks so much. Looking forward to your reply.
Hi There,
I’d be happy to help answer your questions…
1) As long as it is on the same domain, you can install the theme on other subdomains and only need one single license. The only time you couldn’t do this is if you had clients that were paying for something in which X was being used on subdomains (clients were paying for their own version of your subdomain where X was being used). As a general rule of thumb, the number of domains in which X is going to be used is the number of copies you would need.
2) Continuing from #1, this is not a Themeco or X specific policy but rather a ThemeForest policy. They set the price and terms of the license, and the rules that apply to us apply to all themes on ThemeForest. As such, we can’t change or modify the policy as it’s not ours to change.
3) Envato (ThemeForest parent) is the one who handles refunds since they are the one who handles the transaction, and due to the fact that the product is digital in nature, refunds are limited to very specific applications. You can read more about their policy here. Again, since they are technically the one you are purchasing from, they are the party where all these sort of requests are handled. They explain in detail their policy on refunds in that link above.
4) We are on a very fast and optimized server. If you had the same server configuration as us, then yes! We have optimized the theme for fast load times (and continue to do so as better ways of doing things are discovered) however your server configuration is what ultimately makes the biggest difference.
Let us know if you need anything further, my friend!
Thank you so much for your reply. That link worked perfectly. It would appear that Themeforest refunds are only issued for malfunctioning products rather than simply not be happy with the product itself, so it is a good thing I am doing my homework!
Do you have customer built websites that you can point to so potential clients can see the product being used in the real world? I have been reading a few reviews stating this theme is unusually heavy on coding—not sure exactly what that means except some were stating this has the potential to have slow load times.
Can you tell me what questions I should be asking my server to see if they can handle your theme? How fast and optimized does a server need to be in order to achieve similar results? I am on Dreamhost.
Is X available for sale elsewhere or do you have plans to move into other stores where pricing, product refunds and licensing might be more flexible? Will your product ever be backed by and listed on wordpress.org?
You’re welcome!
We do not have a customer showcase at this time, however it is something we are looking to put together in the future.
Comments you see related to this are either from people who are not familiar with how X is developed or have not asked for clarity as to why we chose to do things the way we did. While we are always looking for better and faster ways of doing things, X was built from the ground up with development best practices in mind.
X will work in shared hosting environments, however a VPS or dedicated server would definitely increase performance. This has more to do with your budget and needs as opposed to specific configurations.
X is not available for sale elsewhere, and we have no plans to do so in the near future. WordPress.org has nothing to do with ThemeForest, and at this time we do not have plans to try and sell it through them.
