Their is not an option for a video background and parallax. You can absolutely do a video header or video background (as seen in our Integrity 01 demo or as the background of a content band.
Ok, looks good! BTW for some reason the header video is not playing in Firefox, but managed to view it in IE
Make sure you are viewing it without the ThemeForest iFrame (visiting the link directly) as this has been known to cause some issues when viewing the demo. I just checked on FireFox and the video was playing.

Im running windows 7, 64bit. Im interested to buy the theme but would like to resolve this issue esp because firefox is my primary browser.
We do not have any other reports of this from other users (and we can’t replicate it), so it sounds like something specific to your machine/connection.
Fair enough. Let me see if I can figure it out myself. Can you tell me if the video is an .mp4 file? Is it part of a slider? I am having the same problem in the shortcode area of responsive slider, no matter how much I click the arrows the images do not advance in firefox.
It is a .mp4 file.
To achieve that video header look it is a custom feature we developed to integrate with Revolution Slider, however you can also use videos as a background to our Content Band Shortcode (last example on that page).
Thanks.. its a little frustrating, the content band background video feature is not playing for me either!
It definitely seems to take a little while longer to load in FireFox (although it does load), and it’s loading quite quickly on all other browsers.
I disabled any plugins and cleared cache and re-loaded, unfortunately still did not work for me. Its not just the background and content video thats not working but in the responsive image slider shortcodes if I click on the arrows to advance to next image it does nothing. I dont want to buy the theme if I cant figure this out as Firefox is my main browser… strange but frustrating at the same time!
I’ve checked with multiple people internally, and it is working for all of us (and we have no other reports from customers). The only other thing I can think of would be browser extensions or ad blockers you may be running as they can interfere with media.
I turned all those off too. But thank you for checking your end, at least quick response to support is not lacking for this theme!

I just bought this theme, however, I do not see the visual composer in the page section. I want to create a page like Icon 4 (http://theme.co/x/demo/icon/4/5-reasons-you-need-the-x-theme/). However, I am having problems figuring out how.

We will also need more context as to what could be causing your site to run slow. What hosting provider are you on and what is the hosting plan? How many 3rd party plugins do you have installed? Have you tried deactivating them one at a time to see if the culprit is there?
Please be as detailed as possible when opening up a thread about this because a slow site can have any number of things causing it that are not theme related. Other things that can help increase performance include compression of media, gzip, minification, caching, utilizing a CDN if possible, et cetera – all things individual users can do to their own sites to optimize for performance.

I see you have a lot of hosting/embedding options for video. Is self hosted or vimeo an option for the Integrity #1 header video?
The reason I ask is because a lot of themes rely solely on YouTube embedding and Safari is notorious for not playing embedded YouTube videos.

Hi all! Strongly considering this theme for doing my bands website. The only other theme that visually compares is http://themeforest.net/item/music-club-musicbandclubparty-wordpress-theme/7017803 and I was just wondering if this sort of thing is similarly obtainable with your theme? Sorry for the ignorance as well, I am not a professional developer and am just getting into using wordpress so a lot of this is new to me. Your theme seems quite versatile though. Would a fairly noobish person like me be able to set something up that is usable using X? Thanks so much =)

Visually, there are layouts you can setup that are similar, however if what you like in the other theme has more to do with specific functionality related to music, then that is something to keep in mind. While anything is possible with customizations and we routinely get comments from beginners about how much they love X, at the end of the day it is each customer’s responsibility to customize the functionality they need in the site either through their own work or by hiring a developer. To be sure, we feel X is the most versatile theme on the market today, and we provide a lot of member resources in the form of video tutorials, articles, demo content, a forum, and more to help you along the way – however given the fact that what you might call “similar” could be different from what we would call “similar,” questions such as this can be difficult to answer.
The best thing to do is to browse through our different demos as well as Shortcodes and integrated plugins to get an idea of what is possible out of the box with X.

We have received several comments from actual customers with regards to page speed that you can read such as this, and this.
While most page speed optimization is done on the users end with things like browser caching, CDNs, image optimization, etc we have made sure to keep clean code and performance at the top of our development list. For example, certain scripts only get loaded when a shortcode exists on your page. While other themes will load all scripts into the theme, this method keeps things streamlined. Additionally, things like custom Google Fonts are loaded dynamically, meaning that only what you plan on using is loaded into the theme, keeping it free of bloat.
Other SEO benefits that we include with the theme are the use of semantic HTML5 markup throughout the theme, industry standard SEO practices such as keeping main content before the sidebar, utilizing WAI-ARIA landmark roles for users with disabilities to easily navigate your site, et cetera.

I have good traffic on my site, so what i also need to know: 1. Any problems with SSL? I ve to use it on my site. 2. Is it possible to make backups? 1) Can you explain what you mean by “any problems with SSL”? Installing SSL on a server is obviously not something we do or provide support for, however if you’re simply asking whether an SSL cert can be added to your site, absolutely. There are definite things to configure/setup as it relates to installing an SSL cert but that is the case with any theme/template you would be using.
2) Since it is a WordPress theme, the process is the same as working with other themes in terms of moving your content from a development environment to your live server. We also provide a import/export feature for your Customizer settings to that can be easily recreated as well.

my question concerns licensing and demonstration:
I want to use the theme by my own on a public homepage. It serves for a NPO and shall also fullfill fundraising purposes. So, if I purchase the simple license for about 60$, am I allowed to do fundraising with the theme? Or do i have to pay the more expensive license (3000$) to do so?
Secondly, i wanted to ask, if i could try the theme somehow, before i purchase. As I said I’m leading an NPO whitch im currently building up with my private money, whil earning only about 1000$ per month. So, spending money will bring me far away from my goal.

The single license allows the buyer to use X on a single domain, so as long as the theme is being used on only one domain, you should be fine. There are certain circumstances where there are multiple end users using the theme at which point you would need the extended license, however from what you’ve described, the single license would be fine.

Your best bet is to look through our demos to see what is possible out of the box with X. We have integration with Soundcloud as you can see in our Audio Shortcode here, and we do have a one page feature built into X that you can see demoed here.
You can absolutely add a slider to the page as shown in many of our demos (Revolution Slider comes integrated with X).

Hi there,
I seem to be having an issue with the font rendering on this template. When the page loads, I have set the body text to have a font-weight of 300, but it constantly loads a much bolder size. I have tried using the css class “w-300” and inline styling but to no avail. When I try to edit the CSS using developer tools in Chrome, if I make ANY change to the css, THEN the font changes to the appropriate weight. Could you please let me know what I need to do to fix this:
