On the single featured item page, is it possible to put a banner or slider above the page content, i.e., spanning the full width above the left sidebar and the main content area?

I want to customise the add to cart button, however there is a very annoying opacity / grey background colour on hover, how can i remove this?

Is it possible to include the add to cart button when you shortcode in products in a page or post? I’d really like the customer to buy more immediately if they don’t need to go to the details of the product page.
