1) We are not sure what you mean by saying “old fashioned link” but if you ask if this is possible to activate new theme on your website and do not lose any posts, then it is possible. You can setup any permalinks you want. The difference can be between post images size because each theme is different and have different sizes. But as far as we know there is one plugin that is called “Regenerate thumbnails” and this should change post thumbs images sizes.

2) Do you mean to remove “Read more” button only from blog page?

Sorry. I didn’t word the question very well. Does Be have a link post format? I have a ton of posts that I really only want people to read an exceprt about and then click the link to go to the original source post on someone else’s website.

I want to use a masonry blog view and don’t really need anyone to click through on the post because all I’m going to write is just the excerpt that they’ll already seen on the masonry view. For those posts, I’d like to turn off any “read more” button.

I only want to add or display that button (or link) on posts that I write and want people to click read more to go to a larger single page blog view.

Yes, we have link post format what you can see on second blog page http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/blog/page/2 (the second post) .

But if you don`t want links for posts themselves and just show excerpts in masonry view, then it is possible as well but needs a little change in one of the files. After purchase we can tell you how to do it.

Of course theme is easy to translate. If you want to translate into one language, we created “Built-in” translator especially. But if you want to get multilingual website, our themes are licensed and tested by WPML team and themes can be translated into as many languages as you want
