I have a logo & tagline that’s pretty wide. Hoping there’s a way to use your theme with the logo.
Is there a way to have our logo on the left and on top of the menu?... I guess I’d call it a traditional style of header.
If so do you have any examples of how this looks?

We get message from you and it will be possible to add the logo you presented on your website. At this moment we work on different header styles and we`ll make header that will be compatible with your logo
Be is based on our own Muffin Builder. So what you need to do is move texts and other stuff from visual composer into Muffin Builder. This shouldn`t take to much time but of course you need to move content from current composer into muffin builder.

if you created slider in “Revolution Slider” section, then all you need to do is select right slider while you edit/create page. Slider can be selected in “Page options” section under Muffin Builder.

I finally uploaded the demo content, all the xml files uploaded. But, the slider is not working. I have chosen “temp 01” (I named the slider I made temp 01) in the Muffin Builder and when I see the website, there’s an error message displayed in the place where the slider’s supposed to be: “Revolution Slider Error: Slider with alias homepage not found. Maybe you mean: ‘temp01’ or ‘transport’” How can I fix this? What I want is simple, I want to use the same slider on every page. Please help… urgent.
To choose right homepage, you need to go to Settings > Reading and you must select right page as front page This is how it works for all wordpress themes because this is default wordpress option. And if you want to put slider on every created page, then for each page you need to select the same slider.
If your slider can`t be found, then probably you have used different alias but we have no idea why because this doesn`t come this way with our included files. If you still didn`t sorted this out, then you can send us access to your wp dashboard on pm and we can have a look on it.

A most excellent theme I am looking forward to purchasing very soon!
A few questions:
1. Does the megamenu support different backgrounds for each dropdown? Does it support widgets and images like Ubermenu?
2. I assume there is an audioplayer shortcode? I couldn’t find it on the demo.
3. Is there a modal popup shortcode that supports custom content (i.e. not just images or video)?
4. Can colors for buttons, progress bars and such elements be set in the shortcodes or are the colors limited to those defined in css for these elements?
5. I realise you have your own content builder but if I understand correctly this seems only to work with pages, posts and portfolios and not with custom themes. Do you know whether Visual Composer is compatible with the theme so we could use it with custom post types?
6. Finally, any plans to include widgetised top or side sliding panels? That would be a really great addition!

at first many thanks for great words Below you will find answer on all your questions:
1. At this moment we don`t have this option included but should be easily done with some css tricks. Widgets & images can`t be used. Maybe if you will use raw html for images, then should be fine.
2. Please show us example, what kind of audioplayer you mean. Because inside “Column” item, you can put any iframe or script you want and this can be get from services with audio and pasted exactly here. Most users do it like that and of course all works fine.
3. As far as we know, just right prettyphoto class must be added for right element, and this should open content inside prettyphoto. We can test it but will be great if you can give us example of usage so we can be sure this is what you mean.
4. Colors are limited to those defined in css. But what you can do is setup for items inside sections because each section can have own class and you can modify css styles for each element inside.
5. Yes, our builder works only with our themes. We do not provide it anywhere else. And also we do not use Visual Composer and we don`t have any plans to add it. For us this plugin is slow and not so good. We got really many customers who purchased Visual composer in the past and prefer using our because is lightest, faster and more friendly. That`s why for building websites we use only our tool.
6. Yes, we got plans to do it. This should be done with next update.

Re 2: What I actually meant was an audio player for locally stored audio files – similar to the HTML5 video player you have here:

There are plenty of audio plugins out there which could certainly be restyled but I was wondering whether you have an audio player already styled to match the theme.
Re 3: An example would be this: http://www.getuikit.com/docs/modal.html or http://getbootstrap.com/2.3.2/javascript.html#modalsI think you are right though and pretty photo can probably do this as well out of the box.
Re 5: I think you may have misunderstood what I was asking here (or I have misunderstood the product description). I don’t want to use your builder with other themes, but according to the product description your builder only works in your themes with posts, pages and portfrolio items and not with custom posts. Am I wrong here? If not I just wanted to know whether installing VC on wordpress with Be would cause problems. We fully intend to use your builder, but have custom post types we would be migrating from existing sites and these are built in part with VC and VC addons we would like to keep. Yes, opinions differ on Visual Composer, and to be honest I also find it slow sometimes, but it has some great addons, has the ability to export and import templates and to add new shortcodes from other plugins, something which I believe the muffin builder does not (yet) have.
If I may just ask one more thing: Are there css classes elements to show or hide at different screen sizes, e.g. giving an element the class .hide-phone would hide it at 480px, .show-phone would only show it below 480px?

Re 2: Ok, so we can do it with upcoming update that should be ready this week as we are already working on quite large update with lot`s of new features.
Re 3: We think that we can do it also as shortcode with upcoming update.
Re 5: Muffin Builder can be easily added into any custom post type but only if this custom post type has been created in theme files and is not added by 3rd party plugins.
This .hide-phone class can be easily added by few css lines. This is easy thing.

Thanks for the answers and inclusion of new features in upcoming updates. Have now purchased the theme and will test possible integration with Ubermenu and use of VC with plugin-added custom posts not supported by the Muffin Builder.

Out of alignment? As you can see we support different post types. Images can be landscape or portrait so probably this is what you mean. Most users prefer different kind of images but if you will use only one type of images (ex. landscape) then of course all will be in the same line

we don`t have auto-update function because most users doesn`t like it. But updates can be done easily. We described everything on http://forum.muffingroup.com/betheme/discussion/13/how-update-to-the-new-version-of-be-theme but generally we recommend to update files via FTP. Updating files takes about 1 or 2 minutes. Also it is much safe then auto updates.

i also have a problem with portfolio (single portfolio). i’am using portrait format for pictures. on single portfolio of template, there is just the ability to use landscape. how i can handle it, and show the portrait format? maybe it is also possible to set the portrait picture at right colum an the text in left colum?
As you can see on our demo website, we got only landscape photos. But please tell us if you want to use only portrait or you have mixed photos (landscape & portrait)? We need to know it and also you must give us some time so we can think if there is anything what we can do for you

Yes, it is not a problem at all as we said. All you need to do is go to functions/theme-functions.php file on your FTP and find line which looks like below:
add_image_size( 'portfolio-list', 1160, 450, true ); // portfolio - list
and replace it with own values (1160 & 450). But the last value “true” should be changed to “false”. This is all you need to do to get portrait images.

i changed the values but the image frame on portfolio single is still landscape.
Sorry we forgot to tell you that you must upload images again after this change because wordpress is creating thumbnails while upload. But if you already got many of them, you can use use http://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/ plugin.

The only thing I couldn’t seem to find as through breezing their very thorough documentation (big plus for future buyers) – was talking about how to do Parallax version of the website. Maybe I haven’t dug deep enough yet.

parallax version has been added with one of the updates. Also .xml file has been updated with parallax version few days ago. But if you don`t use .xml file and create everything yourself, all you need to do is use “Section” items. Each section means different background. When you edit section, you will see something like http://snag.gy/yPmHn.jpg and all you need to do is upload image for background and choose “Parallax” background image position.

How to change “bg_subheader.jpg”

it depends what you mean exactly. We`ll try to explain everything below in points
1. If you want to change subheader background (get the same) for all pages, then at this moment you can do it using below css in Theme options > Layout > Custom CSS section:
body:not(.template-slider) #Header { background-image: url("path-to-subheader-image"); }
But today or tomorrow will be ready new update and we`ll add option in theme options panel to change this background image so this should be great info for you.
2. But we also got option to setup different header background images for different pages. And if you want to do it, then please use “Set featured image” option which is available on the right side, under “Page Attributes” section.

If you mean list of icons, then you can check them on demo http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/shortcodes/typography#icons (those icons are different than those one included into Bretheon).
How to Add ICON to TOP Level of Menu?
You need to do it within raw html in place where you use title, ex:

Would you add some icon like icon-windows, icon-apple to this theme?

Hello. Looks really cool but only thing and it’s a common issue with all the themes on here… what if you don’t have a small little horizontal logo? My clients logo is round and 460px × 220px high. Can the theme adjust for this? Can the logo be centered?

if you got larger logo then it is not a problem to adjust menu for that. This is really easy thing. But about centered logo, we don`t have this option yet, but next week will be ready large update and we can promise, that we`ll add this feature for you. At this moment we work on update where will be ready Maintanance mode and some other things but next week will be ready something really big.

what does “Unable to create directory wp-content/uploads/2014/05. Is its parent directory writable by the server?”
It means, you don`t have right permissions for “uploads” folder on your FTP. They should have “777” permissions. If you are not able to do it (because maybe server is limited) you should write about it to hosting provider.

We replied in your other message about headers. But answer on your 2nd question is yes, you need to purchase 3 licenses if you want to use theme for 3 different websites/domains. This is how TF license looks like and works like that for all products in the marketplace. So it is not only with our themes

1. If you mean to get page like this one http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/home/landing-page?mfn-c=orange&mfn-h=simple&mfn-l=landing&mfn-f=Lato but without logo and this small menu icon as well, then it is possible of course. After purchase we can tell you how this can be done.
2. At this moment we don`t have this option but we got “Duplicate page” plugin included which is fully compatible with theme. So you can create page that you like and you can duplicate them as much as you like. This should be great tool for what you need.
3. Yes, you can have different menus on different pages if you like.
