You need to install ftp software. This is not part of WordPress. FTP is used to copy files from your local computer to server.

No, if you uploaded bridge folder to wp-content/themes/ folder, you should see it in Appearance > Themes.

Hello, I just bought theme ans start tweaking it.
I have 2 questions, working on your qode slider for homepage. 1. how can stop animation for title/text on each slide (slide in from bottom). I want fixed title/text to appear, when slide fade in. 2. can I add an overlay over slider, which permanently stay over slider? in which I wan to put some logo image and custom button? Is there any settings for that or should I touch CSS and file?

2. There is no option for overlay content, so you will need to edit slider shortcode php file and add image and custom button to it.

Hi, I’ve been experiencing a problem with the masonry blog not being able to display properly. I’m using the left menu bar for my website, but everytime I make a test post for my blog, it appears halfway underneath the left menu bar. You should download All files & documentation from ThemeForest. If you unzip it, you will see xml export folder. Locate LayerSlider_Export_Bridge13.zip. You should upload that file to LayerSlider page in WP dashboard.

Can you check if .htaccess file is writable, as changing permalinks settings in WordPress requires writing url rewrite rules to .htacces file. Just to explain, this is core WordPress feature, our theme doesn’t change anything related to permalinks

I am not sure about web.config file, basically you need to make sure your web server recognizes webm file format as video file. You should ask your hosting how to solve that on windows hosting.

1. Pinch and zoom are currently disabled, but we can show you how to enable it in the code. I am not sure if it will result in problems, as responsive CSS is involved with this theme.
2. I guess yes if you for example disabled ajax animation (page transition) for that page, so it’s loaded without ajax and make sure that responsive css file is not loaded only for that page. This will require a little bit of custom coding.
3. Can you explain a little bit better your request here. Column is just container, but what you put in each column can be different height.

5. You can add slider to any page, but if you are asking if you can set slider for all blog posts, there is not global option for it, but it can be done in the code

it would be tremendously useful to be able to limit the ‘previous’ and ‘next’ arrows when viewing a single portfolio item so that items are displayed in the order they are shown, AND also limit the loop to to a given category (s).
is there a way to do this which i may have missed?
an alternative would be to create a new post type and replicate the portfolio templates?

I think yes, you should try to create language folder in the child theme folder and place your files there. Our update of localization files is not important, as anyone can update them just by re-scanning the theme with this plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/codestyling-localization/

Hy there, i have a problem with the new posts in the blog. When i add a new post, automatically creates a permanent link to the ”/home”, and appears de error page (doesn’t exist). I don’t know why the new posts doesen’t link to the full post instead of the /home page.

Looping occurs when trying to upload wp-content/themes/bridge theme/includes/import/files/bridge/bridge_content_10.xml
(this actually happens with any files that have “bridge10” in them. They wont actualy upload, just keep uploading and then starting over. I tried contacting my hosting (godaddy) for support but they said this issue doesnt have anything to do with them.

I am having this EXACT problem. I also use GoDaddy/Filezilla and contacted Godaddy for support (they increased the file upload limit but ut still loops on bridge_content_10.
