Hi There,
I seem to be having issues install the content/settings/widgets for any of your demo theme styles. It can install settings etc, but when “All” is selected the progress bar doesn’t change from 0%, and nothing changes in terms if files being updated and/or content/settings changes.
I am using it on my localhost with no restriction on access to the internet.
Any clear instructions on how to install the demos? They look great and it would aide my understanding of how the theme works!

When I go to a page on the my website it just shows a smiley face in the top left corner. When I refresh it then it’ll load the page. How do I fix this? www.atstudios.ca

Can you try to disable JetPack and check if it helps. There might be problem with memory settings of the server and JetPack.

this is the page set as posts page in reading settings template=blog large image
Doesn’t show the title of the page totle is blog(), instead it just shows on the title area the title of the first blog entry
If I don’t select it as a posts page it behaves normel, it shows the page title in the title area

This is normal behavior. Is there any specific reason why you need to choose it in the settings? You can use it as normal page and set it to use one of the blog templates.

If you want that, then you shouldn’t select it under Settings > Reading > Post Page. Leave that field empty.

I have a video that’s 1920×960. There’s this letterboxing effect (black bars on the top & bottom of the video) when my web is viewed on smaller resolutions with different proportions. I’ve been struggling with this for days. I’ve been trying to get my vimeo vids to embed properly on my page (via add element on Visual Composer). Only the link shows on the page but not the video.
When I changed the row to “section” they showed up briefly but when I changed the background colour of the section they disappeared again (even after I changed the background back to what it was).

Hi, How does the functionality to select a portfolio item by project ID work. There is no clarity in your documentation. Where do you assign the project ID to a portfolio item
I am trying to find a work around by not having tags. I have utilised the category for 2 types, consultancy and design and would like to have tags for example web, design, financial consulting, brand development etc.

Hey Nick,
You can enter project IDs (those are post IDs and you can find them in the url of the portfolio post in WP dashboard) separated by comma, so the list will show only those projects.

Hi – when I use the custom font element I change the font and size but it makes no change. Is this over-ridden by another setting (perhps in global font?). I’ve tried to amend settings but can’t make it work…

You can enable top header in Qode > Header and Footer and then go to Appearance > Widgets and drag Text widget to Header Left widget where you can place social icons shortcode. For example something like this:

Not a good start…the elision.zip file will not upload through wordpress…I get a message saying “Are you sure you want to do this?” with no option to say yes or no, and the the whole thing starts over when you refresh etc…
With an average respond time of 2+ days I’ve got a bad feeling that I just wasted $55…already hacked off with this nonsense…

you should see message when main theme is active to install missing plugin. You can also manually install it from elision.zip > elision > plugins > js_composer.zip.

Seems like Quode Slider with fade has a little bug on the ipad. Before fading in next image, it is shown 100%, means it flashes up, then dissapears then comes again smooth.
