I purchased this theme awhile ago and from the beginning the theme loads in very slow. How come that it takes so long to load this theme in? I am worried that I spend my money wrong.

Hi Having an issue with the posts in the blog now. They post, appear in the blog, but there is no image showing, and when you click on the post [ read more ] the refresh takes you to the homepage and not the blog post.

Hi there, I have a quick question.

The theme looks fantastic. I’m picking between this and Central – since I very much like the clean look of the Hudson demo of Central.

Now, this theme seems to have a bunch of extra features that I want – but it concerns me that this theme and any site I’ve seen it on is incredibly slow – which makes for a bad user experience. So that said:

- why is the load time so slow? Surely, retina assets are very big – but just how big is what is on the demo that causes such a lag in load time?

- is there a way to speed this theme up? My site will be heavy on assets – and load speed is a top priority for me.

- if I was to buy Central with the purpose to customize the Hudson demo – is that part of the install?

- How much effort would it take me to make either Central or Bridge look like the Hudson demo? I’m tech savvy & feel comfortable changing the code or the CSS.

Is there anyway to use a “row” and an “element” as a sort of “include file” across the entire website.

For example, if I want to put the same call to action site wide can I do this within your software. I don’t want to have to make edits site wide when updating a call to action

I have had the same issue as many others….I’ve purchased the theme, downloaded it, but when I attempt to upload it to the Wordpress site through the install the page freezes and I’m told it is not possible to upload the theme. I saw the support advice that this may be because the file was greater than the server PHP Memory Limit. However when I checked the server it the space available was well more than the theme.

THEN, I created an entirely new Wordpress account, hosted on a recommended host – Bluehost – and attempted to upload the theme. I am still experiencing the same issue.

I have spend an entire day attempting to resolve this issue. Incredibly frustrating – particularly given that others have faced this issue before.

I am getting the following error message displayed at the top of my wordpress:

I searched and searched and I am almost sure that this great theme is the most suited for what I need. I want next week to start creating the website for the school I work at. The only concern I have is that I won’t be able to implement some features that are a kind of “must have” for any great school website: I need a thin footer with menu links to be visible on the homepage and the ability to put the “upcoming events” and “latest news” widgets somewhere over the homepage (example here:http://www.chafyngrove.co.uk/). I saw in another comment that if wanted, the Demo showcase that is on the homepage in your examples can be made available. I would use it for quicklinks but I would still need those widgets I mentioned. Or maybe can I have that demo showcase horizontally on the bottom and to be able to make it invisible if wanted? One with only one category and second blog with all other categories.

I found option to choose one category, but i don’t know how to exclude that category from second blog page?
