Hello, KaptiLin,
first of all, I want to tell you how impressive work have you done. This is one of the best wordpress templates I have used ever. It is amazing and I am glad to have purchased it.
I’ve found some issues I can’t resolve. For example, in the homepage, the shortcodes add the following text: “[raw] [/raw]“
It seems that they appear when I add a shortcode inside another, like an image or a widget shortcode, inside a column shortcode.
Another thing I could’t find how to solve is how to add a header to the homepage as I can do in other pages, since I didn’t want to use the slider.

For the “[raw]” issue i have solved in version 1.5.1, you can go to re-download it.
If you don’t want display slider on homepage.
Please make some edit on “striking/home.php”
locate line 5 replace

with

You can extend contact form by add some codes to “striking/framework/widgets/contactform.php”, “striking/framework/shortcodes/widgets.php”, and “stiking/includes/sendmail.php” files to implement it.

I wish your theme used prettyPhoto instead for lightbox. It has the ability to display photo, video, inline content, and external pages.
For example I have a link<a href="/info/showcase.html?iframe=true&width=600&height=320" rel="prettyPhoto">Realtor.com Showcased</a>
to display an external html page within the lightbox and I use this alot throughout my website. Would be a bummer to not use your theme because of this. Let me know if this can be implemented OR if there is a way to use your theme’s lightbox to make this work.

Colorbox that i used for lightbox also supports photos, grouping, slideshow, ajax, inline, and iframed content.

Congratulations on the theme that I bought it as soon as seen. Really good and very well customizable.
Do you have howto that can help a beginner like me.
For example – How to rebuild your home and/or your demo pages. It would be very interesting and would enrich the overall documentation.
How do I turn the slider on the homepage. Need to create a slider item or set something.
After creating a slider item page gives me this message:
You have no rights to access this content. Why.
Where you enter the URL of the photo in the slider.
I would like more information on the use of the slider. They can also be used on other pages.

It’s a long time after i upload version 1.5 to themeforest. But it seems it won’t be approved soon.
Since version 1.5 have made a lot changes including fixed some bugs, you should update it immediately.

One thing I still haven’t figured out is how to place the social icons side-by-side as you have managed in your footer. (Under “Keep in Touch”)

For Social Icons, you can follow the steps below:
1) Go to “Appearance” -> “Widgets” subpanel.
2) drag and drop “Striking – Social icons” to the sidebar you want on the right.
3) Click the Edit link on the widget to configature the widget.
4) Hold down the ctrl or shift key to make multiple selections for the icons.
5) Then you will see the url options appear in the bottom of the widget.
6) Click “Save” after configuration, you will see it works.

I really like your new theme! I have one question. I really need a customizable side bar that operates like this one: http://thethemes.eu/preview/distinct/portfolio-2 It does not need to employ ajax per se but I need it to do the same thing. Can I accomplish this with ease with your theme? I am not an expert with WP but I have used it before. Is your backend pretty comprehensive and user friendly for the most part?

You can use “Custom Menu” widget for the demand. but no ajax support.

I’m trying to add a login/register modal form to the navigation menu, but can’t seem to figure out where to place the wp_loginout() and wp_register() to make it show in the navigation.

Thank you for purchasing Striking.
You should use Wordpress custom menus for the links.
First, go to “Striking” -> “General” subpane to enable Wordpress Built-in Menu.
Then, go to “Appearance” -> “Menus” to configure the navigation.
You can use Custom links for loginout and register.

Some questions and thoughts:
Could a slider shortcode for using inside pages be created?
The styled boxes can have several shapes, sizes and colors?
Can a different type of FAQ page can be created, without toggle?
A shortcode for dropcaps would be nice, w/out background.
In the header to be able to insert pictures and pictures+text not only text.
To create a template for landing/capture/squeeze page.
Can we have larger thumbnails for posts?

Hi,
Planing to buy this very good them, but is it possible to Link to posts from the sliding Images which are displayed by the Nivo Slider? Performance on Ipad could also be improved, especially the sliders. They seem to run with 15fps max. And, can I add one image instead the headline Text and the small Icon you use on the startpage for each of the 6 featured posts?

You can link the post/page/portfolio item from the sliding images. Also you can input the link manual.
For nivo slider performance on ipad, may be you can reduce the number of segments in which the image will be sliced.
And you can fill anything you like to the front page.

Looks like an improvement on the inFocus theme. I can’t decide between the two, although this one has a choice of three sliders for the home page, which is a bonus. Any other benefits over the inFocus?
