Hey guys! Just downloaded the theme and getting to know it. Seems pretty intuitive, well structured and easy to use. I was just wondering if there was anyway to customize the portfolio grid look? I really dislike how large the title block on the bottom of the thumbnail is and I would rather it not be there and have the title just appear when the cursor hovers above it. Might be difficult I know, but if there could be some updates with more portfolio style that would be excellent and make this theme perfect!
Hi There,
Thank-you for the kind words. The portfolio can definitely be different based on the Stack you are using and the width of your site. You can also activate a standard or masonry layout.
Be sure to register for our member area where there are dozens of video tutorials, knowledge base articles, our member forum (where all theme support is provided), and more. If you haven’t done so already you can register here.
Cheers, my friend!
Thanks for the response guys! It worked well. A second question though, how do insert a portfolio page into say a page with no header or footer?
Fantastic!
One of our developers would be happy to assist in the forums. Feel free to search the forum first as most questions have been asked/answered, however should you need anything beyond that, feel free to open a new thread, and a member of our development team can help!
I just HAVE to tell you this is the BEST WordPress theme I’ve ever bought, and it’s truly the last one I’ve bought in months. The versatility of the X theme is unparalleled.
I would like to share with you the URL to my graphic/web design practice. I built my site with the X theme, and there’s so much more I plan to do. Everyone who visits my site LOVES it. The X theme has allowed me to create whatever I want in my head. http://www.cheerscreative.com
Hi There,
Thank you very much for taking the time to come share this! You can add us to the list of big fans of the design as well…wonderful job!
I know our customers and visitors always appreciate hearing from actual customers and seeing actual sites built with X.
Cheers to all our friends at Cheers Creative!
Hi,
Purchased the theme and am excited to get started. However, I have registered to your member site to access the support documentation using my envato username and purchase code, but I can’t seem to log in. I get the message that my purchase code has been registered with another account…
What gives?
Scratch that, I get the “Invalid username or password” message when trying to log in. I registered with my above username and copied purchase code, but can’t sign in.
Tried “Forgot my password” and I get “invalid email address” with my account email. Pretty frustrating.
Please help me out here. I have paid for the theme but would very much like to access and import demo content before beginning to set it up.
Done
Many thanks…looking into it now and will reply soon!
Hello, Does this theme support bbpress and buddypress
Hi There,
Not out of the box, however BuddyPress is coming VERY soon and bbPress will be soon after.
can i use it with this theme is there any conflict
Many of our customers use these plugins, however we do not provide support for it at this time since it is not integrated into the theme (it will be soon though).
Hello,
If I purchase x, does integrity demo 3 come prepackaged? Is it just like the demo? If so, how do I access it after purchasing?

i read that this theme is very versatile and can do alot of customization. but the demo only shows parallax kind of design.
Is there any demo of what this theme can do?
Hmmm…not sure what you mean there as there are only a couple examples of a parallax effect across the 30 demos. Have you seen all the different demos here?
I couldn’t find something like that from the demo. The demo is mostly displaying portfolios kind of theme.
The best way to see what is possible out of the box with X is to check out our demos (linked to in our first reply above). Very few of them are portfolios (many of the demos have portfolios, but that is just part of the entire demo).
Well its official, I’ve been spoiled by X. I tried to use a different theme (the guilty will remain nameless) and everything felt like a HUGH deal and a uphill climb, epically in comparison to how easy X makes….well…pretty much everything!
I would also be remis If I didn’t give a big A+ to the after sale support, many times I get an answer to a support que in like an hour! A LOT of other themes could take lessons on how you guys do it!
X is BY FAR THE BEST THEME I’VE EVER USED IN 3 YEARS OF USING WP, the only down side is once you use it you’ll never want to try out anything new! LOL!
Thank you guys!
Hi Johny,
Can’t thank-you enough for these exceedingly kind words! I will be sure to pass this along to the entire Themeco team
Cheers, my friend!
Could you please explain how your PAGEBUILDER works and is it SEO YOAST friendly…..? I am working with a theme now that uses a custom pagebuilder and the content does not push through as html to the page…it stores it somewhere else and I am having SEO issues.
Hey There,
we are using Visual Composer as page builder and therefore the shortcodes get embeded in the content area and then converted into html. So the output on your actual page is html and not any other short variant. The use of the page builder has no impact on SEO and the plugin from Yoast works fine with X. If you have any questions related to X feel free to ask us at any time.
Thank you for your quick reply…looks like a great theme…
You’re most welcome and thanks!
I just purchased the X theme — and I’m trying to get access to the forum. But when I enter my purchase code I get an error saying that the code has already been registered. I’d really like to remedy this issue…thoughts on what might be going on?
Hi Walter,
Feel free to contact us, and we can send over instructions for verifying your account.

Hello,
I am building wordpress site using X theme now. I am going to build one-page template. But I don’t think one page template works well. I checked “One Page Navigation” checkbox in the page settings but I couldn’t see one page navigation in the homepage. Please let me know details how to do it.
Thank you.
Hi There,
We provide detailed instructions in our member area for setting up one page navigation here.

Hey,
it seems that integrity demos are not working. clicking on, say, http://theme.co/x/demo/integrity/2/ redirects back to http://theme.co/x
Other stacks seem to be working fine.
Am I missing something?
Hey There,
there occurred a short server outage but everything is back now. Please recheck the link and sorry for the little downtime.
If I can help you with anything else or you have any questions related to X let me know!
Hi,
I just bought your theme.
I dont have wordpress – I have a custom domain and hosting on 1and1. How can I install the theme?
Thanks
Hi there, I am working with the amazing X theme
, anyway I have added a revolution slider to my home page (with a shadow under it) but it is strange I seem to have a blue band under the scroller (almost seems like it is under the shadow), and I am not referring to the timing bar.
Any thoughts on how I can rectify that?
Thanks a bunch!
Hey there,
Thanks for writing in! Just to let you know, we provide all of our official support via the forum in our member area. If you have not done so yet, please register for access and direct all future questions to the forum where one of our staff will be more than happy to assist you.
Regarding the band you’re discussing, I’m assuming you’re using Integrity and this is a stylistic element of the Stack itself. If you’d like to remove it you can do so with the following bit of CSS.
body .x-slider-revolution-container.below {
border-bottom: 0;
}
If that doesn’t happen to address what you’re mentioning, definitely feel free to open up a ticket with our support team who will be more than happy to help you out with this and any questions you have moving forward.
Don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any questions about signing up!
Thanks that worked perfectly. One last question, I am trying to get a picture to span the full width of the page but cant seem to get it to work, the photo is 1600px wide FYI. I have tried a few things, don’t even mind the parallax effect like you have in the integrity demo home page (shortcode section) something like that would work perfectly just without the text
Hey there,
Thanks for writing in! As stated above, please direct any future questions you might have to out member forum as that is where all official support is handled. One of our staff will be more than happy to assist you in there.

Hello, I just purchased this theme and I’m bit nervous that I made a mistake because it seems very difficult to customize. I have a few questions, and if you could help me answer them, perhaps I can begin to figure this out.
I’m using the Integrity stack. I want to have a dark header and footer with a white body, but this option is not available in the customizer and the CSS code is not very easy to comb through because it’s all bunched together with no line breaks between the classes. Is there a common sense easy to control what color the main navigation and footer are?
I tried custom CSS inside of the customizer using the following CSS but it had no effect on the colors:
navbar { color: #000000; }
topbar{ color: #000000; }
landmark-header{ color: #000000; }
x-megamenu{ color: #000000; }
Thanks, Dave
Also, how can I get my footer to stick to the bottom of the browser instead of floating. Thanks.
Hi Dave,

Cheers, my friend!
Here is the code I was placing into the customizer CSS box to get the footer to stick to the bottom of the page:
.footer { position: absolute; bottom: 0; height: 40px; margin: 0 auto; }

My shortcodes and visual composer don’t seem to want to work. I’ve uninstalled the theme and reinstalled – it seems like it is hanging onto some previous settings. Thanks in advance for the support.
I have my own verison of VC like the above person and I have tried going back to the default install – It’s all wacked.

It seems your theme doesn’t support the latest version of Visual Composer. Can you fix this? I do have my own Visual Composer license, and the VC included in your package seems way out of date.
Thanks

Can you add custom pricing on products for members of your website? How?
Hey there,
Thanks for writing in! Can you elaborate on this a little bit so that we can have a better understanding of exactly what it is you’re trying to accomplish? Perhaps you could provide some example links of what you’re wanting to do, then we will be more than happy to assist you.
Thanks!
I’d like to be able to offer “Member’s Only Pricing” that is only visible after the customer logs in with a password.
Hey there,
That would fall under the customization category which is each customer’s responsibility post-purchase. Let us know if you have any questions on features in the theme.
Thanks!
1000% awesome theme. . . the only thing missing is the ablity to create different style/layouts for the menu.
Thank-you very much for the kind words!
With optional features like the TopBar and Header Centering there are definitely several ways to layout the menu currently (and the new “Creative Search” option was our first step toward even more header options). Due to the unique nature of our header/navigation area there are many considerations that have to be taken into account, however we will continue to expand this area in future updates.
Cheers, my friend!
Noticed your parallax image wonders up and down when scrolling.
Is that easy to fix?
Hi There,
Can you explain what you mean by that?
When you scroll the page up, the background image also moves up. Scroll down, the background image moves down, probably about 1% of the foreground movement.
You can easily see it here – http://theme.co/x/#demos
just watch the side of the browser when you scroll.
Are you talking about the Shortcode section? If so, that is how it is supposed to function.
No your parallax background should stay in one place when you scroll the page up and down. It does not.
You can also watch the menu at the top when you scroll up and down, watch the background image. It moves and it should be stationary.
Hey there,
Parallax is defined as such: “The effect whereby the position or direction of an object appears to differ when viewed from different positions.” In this case the “different positions” are generated as you scroll up and down the page. Doing so causes the position of the “object” (i.e. the background images in this case) to move slightly. This is basically what happens when you drive in your car: objects that are closer to you appear to be moving faster whereas objects that are positioned farther away are appear to be moving more slowly. Again, in this case, the object that is “closer” is the site itself and it’s content, whereas the object that is “farther” is the background image in this case, which is why the background image moves up and down slightly as you scroll up and down the site.
While there are some sites/themes that tout the use of “parallax” background images even though they are kept stationary, by the very definition of the word this is incorrect. If you take some time to look through the examples provided below, you will see that they employ parallax scrolling with background images the same way we do (some might appear more pronounced/subtle than ours with their background image parallax effects):
If you happen to have any further questions about the theme, don’t hesitate to let us know!
Problem is, I’m not changing positions, so the background shouldn’t either. It’s kind of nauseating this way.
So I take it the answer to the original question is no?
Hey there,
Unfortunately, I’m not entirely following what the issue is here as you are in effect asking how a parallax option can have the parallax turned off or changed. The feature as you see it in the demos is how it is meant to function as explained above. If you do not personally like that effect you can simply not activate it, however it is a popular option among our customers and is used often.
If you stand on the side of the road and watch a car go by, the scenery in the background doesn’t move.
If you stand on the side of the road and watch a car go by after you’ve had to much to drink, then the background may move with the car.
Same reason I can’t possibly go to those sites you listed above.
This one is nicely done:
http://www.nintendo.com.au/gamesites/mariokartwii/#homeHey There,
As stated above, the car analogy is from the point of being inside a moving vehicle looking at the passing landscape, not being outside watching a car drive by.
The example sites provided above along with our theme and many others that provide this feature is the standard implementation of a parallax design on a website. If you do not like this effect, you can certainly opt to not use it.
The example site you have provided in the preceding reply is a highly customized piece of functionality that is far beyond the scope of what any theme could provide you out of the box as this type of implementation requires a very significant investment in creatives and coding.
Hopefully this helps you in your search. Thanks!
Yea, your car analogy must be while dwi. So if you want to try to pawn off your failed attempt at parallax as anything realistic, you failed at that also.
The reason I posted the nintendo page is, well, they are the masters. Oh, their background image doesn’t move around.
I just asked a simple question and you still haven’t answered it. I know it’s screwed up, but all you ‘try’ to do is tell me it’s not. So obviously there is no fix.
There is no fix when something is working as it should, however as it is clear you are looking for something else, we wish you the best in finding the right solution.
