No, that is tied to the width of the site set in the Customizer.

Hi, I’m looking at using X as a base for developing child themes. I know some themes work better than others for this purpose and was wondering if X was built in a way that makes it easy for other developers to use it a framework for child themes. Also wondering how you all feel X compares to the Genesis framework.

Thanks for the lightning quick response! One more question; does X play nice with other development frameworks such at Twitter’s Bootstrap? I use bootstrap on a lot of projects and have found it to be a valuable tool in rapid front end development.

The CSS framework we use is based off of Twitter Bootstrap, but it’s modified to serve our purposes. If you’re used to working with Bootstrap though, you’ll feel right at home.

4 days ago you published version 2.3 …... but still no testimonials feature inside.
Every Themeforest top 20 theme includes Testimonials …. only your site doesn´t.
You´re telling since multiple months that this feature is coming ….. but nothing happens …. this is a little annoying 
It does´t help when you´re telling this feature is on your list …... it would only help when you tell the exact day of release.

As you can see from our Changelog, there have been several other releases and features since our release, and while this is one we do have on our development timeline, it has not been as heavily requested as other features. We also do not share specific release dates, however when it is released you will be able to find it on our Changelog and/or Release Notes in the forum.
Thank-you for sharing your vote for a Testimonial Shortcode. In the mean time, keep in mind there are many ways to show testimonials using the Blockquote or Pullquote Shortcode just to name a couple.

As stated above, there have been other more requested and important features. Each and every new feature is given the proper time to make sure it is up to our standards and also keep in mind that due to our Stacks, when we release a new Shortcode, we are not just releasing one Shortcode but something that is unique styled for each Stack (in this case four unique designs).
... but when it comes to the rating ( and later the sells ) of your theme …. you have to be carefully …. your rating of 4,68 is beaten by a lot of themes around you …. a lot of them rated 4,8 or higher …. I don´t know if you can abstain from a main feature thing all the others offer …. at least from a marketing point of view.
We have explained our position on this one feature and our plans to integrate it in the future. While it may seem like a important feature to you, we have tens of thousands of customers with their own opinion as to what is essential and what isn’t. We also have our own development timeline for the future of X, and We have been very pleased at the reputation and records X has set since it’s release. While the feature is in development, you are welcome to use the 2 other options I provided above for testimonials or any other solution you deem appropriate.

First thing would be to register for access to our member area. Once logged in, you’ll want to check out our Knowledge Base and specifically this installation video.
The license is good for a single use, so if you need to use X on two domains concurrently, you would simply purchase 2 regular licenses.

X Theme looks great. I have a pre-sale question. Do you think it is possible to achieve almost identical site layout like this http://pixelgrade.com/demos/fuse/ using blank pages of the X Theme?
I ask because I love that layout but unfortunately their product suffers lots of cross-browser and cross-platform problems (personal experience with my website trying to use their product).
Therefore, why not to buy X Theme and create such a layout myself?

i’m having troubles installing the theme. The CUSTOMIZER menu doesn’t appear in the admin menu.
i’ve double checked all the plugins required, removed all others plugins to avoid conflicts… without any success. I’ve also tried to increase the RAM allocated to wordpress as seen in your knowledge database… nothing.
i’m runing out of options. did someone had this issue before ? Many thanks for your help.

If that is not what you are referring to, feel free to open a new thread, and a member of our development team will be happy to assist. When you select a Stack in the Customizer, there is a menu item in the Customizer that appears including the different settings/configurations for that Stack.

On the demos, you can simply follow the links under the HOME link on each of the demos and that will link you to the home page of each respective demo for each Stack.
When using the theme, you can find which Stack you are using following the instructions above.

Sure! X works great on a local installation such as XAMPP. It will run in any environment that meets the requirements for WordPress (http://wordpress.org/about/requirements/). Many of our users have had success laying the groundwork locally before migrating to a production server.

Hey! Those are probably questions that asked many times but I couldn’t find a clear answer in the comments so:
1. How difficult is it to use this Theme for RTL – Hebrew website? For example do I need to make any css changes for list items or nav?
2. SEO/Page Optimization – One of the main reasons I want to switch to this theme is because I saw the smart use of css/js load on pages and really clear code. My main concern is will the page builder “count” the words in the Yoast SEO plugin, because most themes don’t do it and show low SEO grades. Also how fast are all those elements on mobile? 65% of my users are in mobile.

1) X has RTL support built in. It will detect what text direction is needed based on the active locale, and serve the appropriate markup and styles.
2) We are using Visual Composer as a page builder (customized to work with our Shortcodes) and therefore the Shortcodes are embeded in the content area and then converted into HTML. The output on your actual page is HTML and not any other short variant. The use of the page builder has no impact on SEO and the plugin from Yoast works fine with X. X is also fully optimized for mobile, and there isn’t a noticeable speed difference.

Hi, i bought this theme and find it great! However in the backend i don’t see Customizer tab on the left, as it supposed to be from your video, i tried different installs, on local, and on different servers, however all of them presents the same issue, Customizer is not available on the left side of the tab, how am i supposed to make it work?
