It is coming in Avada v3.6, which is our next major version. We cannot give out an ETA for that but it will be coming soon as its our next major theme update. We are in final stages of building now but a lot more testing is needed.

Hello,
Running latest Firefox and IE.
The Avada theme displays correctly on Firefox, but on IE we are having problems:
The logo on the floating header is squashed when scrolling down the page. http://tinypic.com/r/aorfcg/8
The latest posts feed aren’t displaying the pictures associated with them. http://tinypic.com/r/2n6f6mr/8The slider bar, which we use as our client bar, isn’t showing the images.

My guess its a 3rd party plugin, or customization change, or an older version of Avada. We can take a look at it once you signup and post on our support forum. We cannot provide in depth support here in these comments as we are limited on what we can do. On our forum we can get login info and check out your site first hand.
Signup there and post a new topic. But first. try tyo disable any extra 3rd party plugins, check your code customizations if you have any, and make sure you are using the latest Avada version 3.5.3

Do you need Spanish and English? If you need more than one language to display on a site and allow the user to switch between the two, then you need a language plugin to control that. We fully recommend using WPML for this, it is the best one and easiest to use. http://wpml.org/2013/06/avada-theme-now-is-compatible/
For the language files themselves, see this post in our docs: http://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/special-features/translation-rtl/
So first you need to install a language plugin like WPML, then install your language files. You can then convert each page and post to both languages, and also insert a language switcher in the menu area or sidebars.

We are looking at purchasing a new template for our site as we want to give it a new fresh look but we will also do some custom development to it. We basically rent computers to businesses and we want to create a plugin that will allow user to get a quote instantly from our site. If we use your template will we be able to do custom development like this one? What will we have to bear in mind etc… please advise soonest – thank you

I had the same issues with other themes.
SOLUTION: Upload via FTP instead of wp.org. Personally, I use filezilla but your can use whatever you want.

You can only use it for one finished site. There is not an option here that allows you to buy it once and use it on multiple sites. So one $58 license is good for one finished site.

Hey. I have an install of this theme. Recently the short codes disappeared. A quick google search pulled up this http://theme-fusion.com/knowledgebase/wordpress-3-9-shortcodes-button-missing-fix/ which outlines simply replacing updating the theme for a fix.
That all sounds great. However, when I updated, all of my sidebars cleared out. In the widgets pane, every single one of theme were just blank as if I hadn’t added widgets to them.
I need a way to update without destroying all this work on these as it’s quite a bit.

Also when this happened, were the widgets placed in the inactive area?
And were you using a child theme and switched to parent theme? If so, the child/parent theme widgets ahve to be setup individually. If you switch back to the child theme the widgets will still be assigned.

Hey and thanks for the reply. I’m not sure what happened. The folder thing may be true, but I haven’t looked into it. Yes, I was using a child theme. Here’s the order I did things. 1-change to 2014 theme, 2- deleted parent theme, 3- reinstalled new parent theme, 4- activated child theme, then I noticed all widgets went away. I was most definitely on the child theme when they disappeared, but I was before the upgrade as well. I may fill out a support ticket. Thanks.

Hey Micha,
When you switch from parent to child theme, you have to setup widgets and assign menus. You have to do it one time for parent and one time for child theme. once you do it once, as long as you do not rename the theme folder, it will stay correctly.

I didn’t go to the parent theme. I went from child to 2014, then removed and reinstalled the parent, then went back to the child.
Then it must be the renaming of the parent folder or child theme folder. Either way, you can assign menus back and add widgets.
I just tried again and paid attention to the folder names and they did not change, but the widgets did disappear again.
Something is happening that is causing it, as widgets will not be lost unless 1) folder name is changed 2) you switch from parent to child or child to parent and have never set them up on both.
We can take a look for you on our support forum, signup there and post a new topic with your login info so we can check it out.
Either way though, your widgets should be in the inactive area so you can drag them back.

Unfortunately there are no settings to do those things to the image carousel. It can be done but will require code customizations.
One thing you can do is set the picture size to “auto” and the images will display the correct ratio without being cropped. But 5 images will still show.

We can recommend using Microlancer.com to find a developer to assist with that, and you can also add this to our ideas section on our support site.
