Hello! Is there a way to create a full-width Google map, like the one in the Contact page, but in any other page? I have tried using the shortcode [fullwidth], but remains a padding of 30px on the left and on the right. Thanks!
Yes, use the 100% width page template, then insert the google map shortcode. For padding, the 100% width template has a left/right padding option, so insert 30px in the option filed for that particular page.

Hi. With the upcoming update are there going to be serious issues updating? Especially if there is going to be a visual composer? Will all the shortcodes we are currently using (lines and lines of code) remain or convert?

No there will not be serious update issues. The builder we are adding is fully backwards compatible. So you can open up a previous made page, and simply click the “Fusion Builder” button and it will convert the layout to builder blocks.

When you edit the style in the backend, you have the option to save as or save. Try to Save as and rename the style to a new name.

is there a way i can get my uber menu to be full width within the boxed layout. I see a 35px spacing on each side. and I am getting 2 mobile menus. 1 is the mobile menu and 1 is the theme menu.

Hmmm there should be, although it would be in the uber menu settings or may need custom CSS. I would check with ubermenu support first to see if there is a quick option for it, if not some custom CSS may be needed.

You are using Revolution slider which does not allow custom skins to be added. That shadow is our theme shadow which takes the place of “no shadow” in the settings. However you can disable that by going to theme options > advanced and checking the “disable avada styles for rev slider” option.

Hello, I am interested in your issue, I have read several positive reviews before buying Some have issues. 01 – Its theme is compatible with WordPress 4.0, which will be released soon? Or have a version 3.5.4 for this? 02 – Do you have a list of sites that have been created with your theme? I wonder what can be done and have some ideas 03 – As I understand there is a new version that will use Visual Composer, and put your projects using shortcode current system, they will still worked? If I buy your theme, create a website using shortcodes, I need to switch to Visual composer?

1. We are currently testing it for WP 4.0, so our next release will definitely be 4.0 compatible. I’m not entirely sure if it is now or not. So far we’ve not seen any reports of issues.
2. We have a user submitted showcase here: http://theme-fusion.com/knowledgebase/avada-showcase-sites/ Please keep in mind those are user controlled sites, and not ours.
3. Our next release v3.6 will include our custom page builder, and yes any previously made shortcodes will easily convert to builder blocks once the builder is released, so its backwards compatible.

There is not a shortcode for that specific item, that is only for single post pages and can be turned on or off per post in the post options settings.
However you can sue recent post or recent work shortcode, and specify a category to display.

Yeah recent work has that carousel layout, which is for portfolio posts. So that is similar.
Recent posts does not, at least not yet.

Also, is the side menu responsive, like the header menu? I would like to have a side menu that displays on mobile like you would see on twitch.tv.

Yes the side nav is responsive, the content will go below the side navigation on smaller devices.

Hi. I see many people cannot grasp the concept that Comments is not the Support section. Must get frustrating for you. I wrote before regarding BuddyPress and you said it’s not styled for BP and will use the default format. That kind of confuses me. It shows it’s compatible with BuddyPress, but what does that mean? The problem is I can’t see what it looks like and I don’t want to buy the theme, find out it’s too much work to restyle it and have to buy another theme. Usually if it states BuddyPress, it means that was incorporated into the theme design – at least in my experience.

No worries, let met help explain.
Compatibility means the plugin will work with the theme. It’s compatible so you can install the plugin and use it as intended.
Design integration means it is compatible with the theme AND that we’ve added extra styles to make it look like Avada. For example, like with WooCommerce, we have full design integration. If you view our online shop you will see that it looks like Avada styles.
We’ve not added design integration for BuddyPress, but it is compatible with Avada. So when using BuddyPress, it will look like the default BuddyPress plugins styles.
For example, go ahead and install BuddyPress with the default WP theme (twentyfourteen) and view how it looks, that is pretty much how it will look when using Avada.
We do have plans to add design integration for BP sometime in the future, but I cannot say exactly when that will be.

Thanks. Yes, I did try that the other day – looking at a different theme to see how much coding would be involved. I’ve gotten lazy and if it’s not in a pulldown menu in the dashboard, I don’t seem to want to mess w/ the CSS sheets anymore. Anyway, I just wasn’t sure if every theme then is compatible with BP or how all that worked. It can be quite a learning curve when hunting for themes on here. I will likely buy this for another project either way. I have a lot in the works and this is supposedly the best theme out there, so you can’t go wrong.
Yeah we understand completely! It can be difficult to sort through what is and isn’t offered with a theme, especially now that themes include so much. The good news is one day we will have BuddyPress design integration

What version of Avada are you using? It was added in v3.5 so you need to be on that version or higher.
Also, make sure you have Fusion-Core plugin installed and activated.
