One a particular page I wish to have multiple icons but each should change state on rollover separately. as of now the large icons will activate when hovering over a column that contains them so stacking them on top of each other doesn’t work as you might expect – however I’ve noted to allow the expected effect when nested stacking as in your setup for the next update

2. Most elements do like the Nectar/Home/Post Sliders & carousels, but the prettyphoto just has arrows to navigate with on mobile.

Hey kuamanet , judging from the error you’re receiving it would appear your map.js file located in the js folder is not from the latest release (4.521) – can you download the theme again and try replacing that file?

Hi guys.
Just a quick one but can’t work it out.
When selecting slide font colour of dark or light it obviously then changes the menu colour accordingly which is great. But I have a couple of images that are 2 colours and although setting the slide colour to light is fine for the Heading and caption it’s making the menu impossible to read due to the image being white under that part.
Is there a way to make the menu on specific slides either dark or light separate to the header and caption font colour?

this would require custom css – basically you’d add a class onto the slide of your choosing with the extra class name input field e.g. “custom-colored” and then use this in the custom css box located in your Salient Options panel:
body .custom-colored .content h2,
body .custom-colored .content p {

No, I didn’t buy this theme, so I don’t have forum access. But I’ve bought (dang near) everything else on TF and CC. The dude’s admin area does though indicate a valid license. Yes, I looked. He’s a political dude and doesn’t really touch anything on his site. He emailed me w/ his login info and simply asked me to change the color of the body text. I’m thinking, “Ok, no problem. It would be… uh… right there under typography in the theme options, right?

You can change the colors for every page using the row’s text color option – but since it seems there’s already a full site built and you want to do a post global change, use this in the custom css box located in your Salient Options panel:

color: #000;
}

I’m not sure, the rev slider is overlayed on top of the video, however on iPad, when you try and click a dropdown menu item, it clicks the video (so it plays/pauses).
Try adding this into the custom css box located in your Salient Options panel:

I would like to know how I could make a new page on my website and have a pdf file downloaded once you click on the page name. The actual page won’t have any content. Basically what I’m trying to do is have a button at the top of my website that will link to a pdf copy of my resume.

not a question but a tip that I found (at least in my settings/browser)
In the Slider Locations (Nectar slider), I was not able to click any existing slider location, neither the ”+ Add New Slider Location”. The problem was, and I’m not sure why, that the Chrome browser width was too small.
As soon as I expand the width of the browser window, I can click existing locations or ”+ Add New Slider Location” again. As soon as I get the width of the browser window small again, I can’t click the options anymore.
It seems to happen only with the “Slider Locations” section, not with other links within the slide page.
I’m using Chrome, it may not be a problem in other browsers.

I would like to remove the hearts throughout the portfolio both on the main page and on the single. I’ve tried the CSS that i found on your support form where you hide the meta. This works but it also removes all the other social icons which I want to keep. It’s only the hearts that we want to remove.

Hi, wonderful theme, I’m glad I purchased it. Anyway. I have a question about nectar slides ordering.
I need 4 location with the same slides but in different order in each location. This feature doesn’t seem possible as any time I change the order of the slides in one location, all the remaining 3 are changed as well.
Can you please advise? Am I missing something?

Thanks Angelo! For this you should just make 4 different locations so you can control the ordering separately in each – is there a reason you don’t want to do that?
That is exactly what I did, I have 4 slides, 4 locations and I need a different order for each location so that when I link the location to the 4 pages the relevant slide is first to be displayed. Unfortunately, if I change the order in one location, all of them seem to be affected.
My apologies, you’re correct – unfortunately since each slide only has one order attribute in the database, what you’re trying to do would indeed overwrite it. I’ve noted to see if I can allow this functionality but for now it would require making separate slides for each location even know the images will be the same
unfortunately this is a very clumsy workaround. The slides page, not having a unique slide identifier, makes it quite impossible to effectively managing the slides and locations. Wouldn’t it be better if the ordering of the slides is attribute of the location instead? I believe this could be a very useful feature.
I’ll agree that It’s not ideal but unfortunately the only way to handle it for the time being – and yes, a solution like that would be viable in allowing the functionality to work

Hey Dave! When you updated did you completely delete the old theme before uploading the new version & have you checked to ensure there are no plugin conflicts yet?
I did, I used FileZilla to delete the salient folder and then uploaded the new one. I am not sure how to identify plugin conflicts. What does your gut tell you this is? Should I try again to delete/upload the theme?
You could test for plugin conflicts by simply deactivating the ones you have on for a minute and checking the page again – there’s also no harm in uploading the theme again so you might as well try that to ensure it’s not that either. If those steps don’t resolve it please open a ticket in regards with your admin credentials so I can take a look at what’s going on themenectar.ticksy.com/

Hi!
I just installed an ssl on my website using this theme.
It seems that the ssl counts the nectar social icons shortcode (heart,facebook,google,pintrest,twitter) as insecure and I cannot achieve the green padlock without removing them from the page..
Is there any way I can fix this and make them ssl friendly?
Also, many of my heart icons do not show the count until they are clicked. It is just a white area. There is only one per page.. any idea what is happening?
