when i’m using your theme and use german signs like “ä”, “ö”, “ü” in the top navigation, the for this letters the font-family is different.
can you explain and give me an advice to fix it!?
i’m also using a image as logo with with 234 and heigt 53. shrinking is okay, but on mobile device it is pretty small. can you also assist to decrease the size there!?

I’m currently seeing the map marker in Europe, if you zoom out far enough you’ll see it – are you sure the center point lat/lng match up with your marker lat/lng?

Secondly, I wish if there was an option in nectar slider which allowed opacity control or say, focus and out of focus option for images, so that my text looks perfect. Would be an amazing addition if coded.

Why is the Nectar Slider so slow? Is there a way to speed it up? I only have a few slides on my homepage and they load painfully slow. No one has the patience to wait for photos to load. I changed the slider height to the default to 750, or 900 and it’s slow no matter what. Do you have any tips to help with this? Scanning the comments and I’ve seen its a common theme but I haven’t found a solution.

the Nectar Slider loads in only after the first slide image or video has loaded (it doesn’t wait for all the slides). The height won’t effect it, but an image or video which isn’t compressed for the web can make a huge difference. If you can share your URL I’d be glad to take a look

You could make a phone number/email address through custom menu links – but if you need more robust html you’d need to add it into the header.php file

Hi there! I really love the theme, and with barely any knowledge of coding, I managed to somehow put a portfolio together.
For the most part, I was able to find solutions to all my problems in this comments section, but there’s one issue that I can’t resolve.
When I tested the layout, I had no problems with the Masonry portfolio option, and it was resizing just fine: http://www.martadymek.com/test/still/
However, once I’ve imported the theme into my actual website, the images aren’t resizing anymore in the masonry option and they don’t fit snugly.

Is there a way around this?

That page could be done by simply using visual composer full width background rows and having every alternate one set to parallax the BG – for all the heights just use the top/bottom padding fields with a % value to keep it responsive

The update is currently in the review queue and will be available to download shortly. This is a minor bugfix release that sorts out a few issues most notably being the Google map markers not displaying – Unfortunately the hotfix of the last update (4.5.21) didn’t permanently address the issue, so for any who are still experiencing the icon acting up please update or simply replace the js/map.js file with the new source For a list of the other fixes please check out the changelog

Hey media_more! Are you talking about something similar to the full width background/content row types available in the Visual Composer page builder?
I mean if you go to http://www.media-more.nl/ , the calendar has to be 100%, at the moment the calendar is positioned in the center box of 1100px.

You can indeed set the option to constrain the proportions perfectly when scaling by setting the option for “flexible height” in the slider element

Could I have four independent portfolio pages in the menu? Each page for one grade ( I must set up a portfolio for students from different locations and that belong to different grades). So different portfolio pages for each location and portfolio categories for the grades…

1. You can indeed have as many separate portfolios as you need – but the arrows for next/prev on the single portfolio page will still cycle through all items
2. That test is simply waiting for all the video files to fully load which is completely unrepresentative as to how fast the page it self loads and is usable (the videos buffer while they play)
