Hi, fusion slider does not work with internet explorer browser, can be ?, greetings

It is working on our end, it is compatible with IE8 and higher. However, the animations will not work in IE8 due to browser limitations, but the slider will still show.
Please post a new topic on our forum so we can take a look at your site and setup and see what is going on.

How can I make in portfolio the text to be next to the image?

Are you referring to the column pages? Like 1-4 column? The text is only next to the image on the 1 column classic layout. It would take multiple code adjustments to do that on others.
If you are referring to the single portfolio page, then you can choose “half width” for the “Width (Content Columns for Featured Image)” option on each portfolio post.

I am referring to the column portfolio pages not to the single portfolio. I have one column and a sidebar but the text goes under the image. Is there anything I can do to change that?

Unfortunately that will take multiple code adjustments to do. only the 1 column classic layout has it on the side, and if you use a sidebar with that it will put it below.

Firstly i want to thank you for this great theme. I have made a W3C Validation Test and i have just only a failure i couldnt fix.
I home page (full width) there is a reading box that include a slogan and a button in it. But there automaticly occurs a inline <text/css> code just befor this box. i didnt see it in visual or HTML editor when i check the page.
it is ”<style type=’text/css’>#reading-box-container-1 .tagline-shadow:before,#reading-box-container-1 .tagline-shadow:after{opacity:0.7;}</style>” icouldnt find it anywhere i want to delete it because it makes no changes on website and it does not fit HTML5 rules.
Can you please help me to find this code or how can i delete it.

No that plugin is not needed. I have heard of it but have not used it before, I’m more familiar with the actual template file, not the plugin. But no, it is not needed for cross browser compatibility.

Thx for confirming this. I’ve never actually heard of it before and assumed that cross browser compatibility would be hard-coded. Not sure why i’m seeing this plugin on a client site.

currently I’m using TYPO3 for some of my websites and I would like to switch to WordPress. I’ve seen that Avada has one of the best ratings and I would like to know if I can “rebuild” the typo3 website I currently have into a Wordpress site with your avada theme. www.vandijcks-diskuswelt.de is for example one of those Websites I would like to change Typo3 to Wordpress using your theme. WOuld that be possible?

Doesn’t work with MediaTemple out of the box. “WordPress Failure Notice. Are you sure you want to do this? Please try again”
Why don’t you make it just work with one of the most popular hosts?
“Nothing found” on your support site when I search for the error message.
You should try to make your theme smaller. A 10 MB theme? WordPress itself is 5 MB

That “WordPress Failure Notice. Are you sure you want to do this? Please try again” means your file upload limit is too large for your sever. That is a common error.
If you search for part of that phrase, you will find it on our support site. Search for “Are You Sure” and you will find this:
http://theme-fusion.com/knowledgebase/are-you-sure-you-want-to-do-this/Our theme is actually only about 2.5MB. It is the plugins, like Layer Slider and Rev Slider that take up the res of the space. Layer Slider itself is 6MB. So its not the theme at all.
Also, you cannot compare WP itself to a theme, its different. But again, the theme is not that large, only half the size of WP.
I would upload it via FTP, or contact your host and have them increase these limits http://theme-fusion.com/knowledgebase/are-you-sure-you-want-to-do-this/ It is a common size now and most are upgrading those vales/

All people can reach some of the page, and only members can reach to members area.

I bought avada yesterday and am getting jquery error with revolution slider.
wp is updated to version 4.0. The error is -
“The Current Version of jQuery:1,4,2 Please update your jQuery Version to min. 1.7 in Case you wish to use the Revolution Slider Plugin”

That should not happen with WP 4.0 and Avada 3.5.3. WP 4.0 users includes jQuery 1.11.1.
It sounds like you need to reinstall Wordpress. Can you do that and then see?

reinstalled wp and posted on the support forum yesterday. also installed jquery updater for wp. no change

You can pout portfolio posts on any page or post using the recent work shortcode.
Open the shortcode popup box, choose recent work and select your layout and other options like showing filters. Then insert it on the page and save it.

I’m using Avada with the header number 4.
I would like to put there a banner but I have not it in HTML code as I’m using a software (WP Pro adverstising) to manage campaigns – this plugin gives to options only: a shortcode [pro_ad_display_adzone id="1"] or a PHP code to insert inside the theme – <?php echo do_shortcode("[pro_ad_display_adzone id=1]"); ?>.
The shortcode don’t work but, If would know the right place to paste the code on php files, it would work for sure.
Can you help me with this?
