Hi, pre-purchase question,
using Integrity, is it possible to present a portfolio in a “carrousel” fashion, sort of like the one shown in the Ethos home page top? So just one row, 4 portfolio items, no space between them, from side to side of the browser window, arrows to navigate…, but being a portfolio, not a blog like in Ethos?
Would that be possible somehow using Integrity?

That would not be possible out of the box in Integrity as that particular feature is unique to using the Renew Stack.

Can this theme have a secondary menu in the sticky header?
What I am looking for is a theme that allows me to have a primary menu that is always visible like “Resume, Communities, Services, Resources, Contact” and a secondary menu that shows when on one of these pages from the primary menu.
Each of these menu items in the primary menu would link to their own pages, however each of these pages would have a secondary menu depending on the page. So for example the “Resume” page would have a secondary menu of “About, Skills, Hobbies, Testimonials, This Resume page would act as a single page so when “testimonials” is clicked from the secondary menu it would scroll to that section on the page. Each page from the primary menu would act the same – so the communities page would have a stick menu of different communities etc..
Does this theme allow this without having to mess with the code? I realize I could create a ‘sticky’ sidebar for each of these pages and have the secondary menu links appear there… However my client doesn’t want to use side bars..
So please let me know if this is possible with this theme. I hope my request is making sense…

Hi There,
You can not have a secondary menu as there is not a configuration for a secondary menu. What there are options for are a mega menu that can expand as you hover over a menu item (to display a secondary menu of sorts in a visually appealing manner). You can see an example of how the mega menu functionality looks within each Stack by hovering over the “Shortcodes” menu item on each 01 demo for each Stack.
Second, you can set a custom menu on a page by page basis, so if your home page was to have menu 1, your Resume page could have menu 2.

Thanks for the quick reply! Mega menu is a great idea. Could I use a mega menu to scroll to a section in the page if on that page? So for example, if I on the “resume” page and you click on “testimonials” it would scroll to the testimonial section on that page? If not on the “resume” page and you click the testimonials link from the mega menu then I assume that you would be brought to the testimonials section on the resume page. Would this work?

I am using your theme with woocommerce. As it seems you have included woocommerce translations. But I want to use the translationfiles provided by woocommerce because they have dutch woocommerce translations. And now the woocommerce words are all in english.
How can I stop using your translations and switch to the translations from woocommerce?

is there a screenshot available of the page builder’s inteface? i’ve been through your website, all i’ve found so far are those 2 circles in the ENDLESSLY CUSTOMIZABLE section of the homepage. Sadly I have to admit I’ve bought a few themes where the page builder stinks.

Please help me understand the licensing. I am considering using this theme for a web site that in and of it’s self will not be a product for and end user. The web site will be for a professional services company and may have a private area for support of it’s clients. Tangible and subscription based service products may also be recommended via the web site. The wording in the licensing does not seem to address anything like what is planned and I was about to purchase but would surly like to be sure we are in compliance with the licensing however if the extended is required we will look further for one of the many other options.

This applies to all themes sold on ThemeForest, so as long as part of the end product is not being used for multiple end users (for example, taking parts of the theme and offering it to others to use on their sites), you are welcome to purchase a single license and create a site in which other products/services will be sold so long as the theme or part of the theme is not what is being sold.

Ahhh, that makes more sense I just was not getting that from the FAQ and other descriptions it almost was implying that it could not be used for a subscription based membership site where users paid to access stuff in the site. Thank you for the clarification.

When you scroll from the top ( http://theme.co/x/ ) the images glide in from opposite sides. Is this built in to the X theme or do you use a plugin such as this: http://codecanyon.net/item/animate-shortcode/full_screen_preview/7149639 for that effect?

With regards to your question, you can animate elements upon entrey with our Content Band Shortcode (another example would be on this Renew demo – specifically the section with the 6 circle graphics about half way down the page).

You’re welcome! That is built into the Shortcode as an option, so you would basically add a column (another Shortcode) into the content band then activate the option with something like: fade="true" fade_animation="in-from-right"
There is no need for any additional plugins or scripts beyond our Shortcode plugin which is included with your purchase.

Obviously, X is an excellent theme.
I would like to buy it for myself and learn how it all works, before using it on any of my clients’ sites.
I realise I then need to purchase a new copy each time I use it for a client, so my question is, will it cost me $63.00 each and every time? Is it not possible to buy say 5 or 10 copies at a reduced price?
The extended version, being over $3000.00 is a hefty outlay for freelancers such as myself.

The extended license is not a multi-use license, so the short answer is that you would simply purchase a unique regular license for each project in which you wanted to use X. We are unable to provide discounts or rebates as Envato (ThemeForest parent company) is the one who sets price, etc.
We do work with several design houses/agencies in this regard where a new license is purchased for each additional client site, and we would love to work with you and your clients in this manner. If you have any further questions, feel free to let us know, and we’ll be happy to assist!

No, those things would not be features in a theme but rather specific, custom functionality.

1) Out of the box, you can add social icons in the header area and in the footer. Anything beyond that would be possible, however would require some customizations on your end to put them in the desired location outside of the header or footer.
2) That is not how it works out of the box, but customers are welcome to customize as needed post purchase.

In the Ethos theme, under the category of FASHION, there are only two post with a large picture and View post button. Uner the category of TRAVEL, all of the post displayed with a large picture and view post button. Can I made all my post like the TRAVEL post with large picture, Date, title ,some description and view post button?

Yes, you can set the image sizes for each post. For more information, please check out the Ethos features.
You can add a link to your Instagram account, but if you are looking for some sort of integrated feed that pulls through your recent photos you would need some sort of 3rd party solution.

The only thing you would need to add is video file and slider content as that is not part of the demo content.
