I think your fixed background image is having this issue:
http://www.carsonshold.com/2013/02/css-background-sizecover-doesnt-like-fixed-positioning/Your workaround works if the image is larger than the space, but still has some issue. You may want to look at something like this:

Hi There, a quick pre-sales question here:
I see from comments that Revolution Slider can be used, does your shortcodes work with it? In particular the buttons: http://demo.qodeinteractive.com/bridge/buttons/
So is it able to achieve the same look as your QCODE slider used in the demo, with the buttons – but use Rev slider instead?
Thanks
Hi,
We didn’t test recently Rev Slider, but when we used in older themes, we were able to render our shortcodes there. I am not sure if they changed it lately. We can give you access to our test site so you can test it. Just email that request to support@qodeinteractive.com (and ignore auto-reply message).
Qode
Great thanks, Revolution slider works and the button shortcode works, see here: http://test.qodeinteractive.com/bridge/home-test/
The problem is that when resized to smartphone size, the button distorts so that the button border is too big and the text not in the middle. Is there a way to fix this?
Also, I tried a random search to see what the search results page looks like and it is sometimes blank with no “not found” notice? see here: http://demo.qodeinteractive.com/bridge/?s=post
Looking forward to purchasing the theme if we can sort this out
Hi,
We can definitely help you with custom CSS to fix layout issues.
Thanks for search results reported issues, we are going to address it now.
Qode
Hey,
Search was actually not a bug, we didn’t upload newest version of the search template to the server. It’s fixed now
Qode
Great, thanks. Any chance on some CSS I could try now to fix that button? (I need to use slide buttons for the project, so is important that it is responsive)
Hi,
I can’t assign this to our support team, as you didn’t purchase the theme yet, and we need to handle lot of customers who are waiting for reply
Once you purchase, our support team will assist you
Qode
Ok will do, as long as you can guarantee it can be done (the button can be fixed). Thanks
Yes, we guarantee it
Thank you!
Heya, would like to see the horizontal tabs become responsive – they turn into a mess when viewing on an iphone. Also, is it just me or are the boxed horizontal tabs now showing the border under the active tab?
Thanks.
Sorry, forgot to mention that I can see the line using latest version of Google Chrome.
Hi,
Please submit a ticket to http://qode.ticksy.com/ with a link to your site on which our support staff can take a look at this issue.

There is something wrong with your sidebar template. Set the page below to default the template and add a sidebar:
http://demo.qodeinteractive.com/bridge29/full-width-page/There are also issues with the top margin/padding when using the sidebar with a fixed top menu.
PS I know that page is a widescreen example but you can see the same issues with any sidebar page that has a background image.
It looks like you addressed this by adding padding-top:87px to the VC row, but that won’t work for blog posts. At least not without editing our 5000 posts.
You have the same padding issues if you hide the title.
I see now.. you need to add the padding in the title theme settings.
As long as you are here… I think you should make hide title and featured image a global option. You should also create an option to hide the “small title” and meta. The option to add meta (date, etc.) to the large title would also be nice.
Thanks
Hey,
Thanks a lot for sharing all of this
We will consider adding it at global level in one of future updates, it’s really good idea

Do this have a responsive video script like Fitvids?
Thanks
Hi,
The theme comes with a video player element (that is standard with Visual Composer) that can display responsive embedded videos from YouTube and Vimeo on your page.
Hope this is helpful.
Qode
So I guess that is no. I just wanted to make sure I didn’t add a script that would conflict.
Yeah, that’s the case here
How do you get the meta boxes to show when creating/editing a custom post type?
Thanks
Hi,
You will need to use some plugin for meta-boxes, as our framework supports only custom post types included with our theme.
Qode
Is you goal to provide support or just get through these comments as fast as possible? Guide me to the function you wrote to include your own custom post types and i can take it from there.
Hi,
More complex request require submitting ticket to http://qode.ticksy.com/. Please do that, so one of our developers can help you

Pre-Sales question: I have a client who wants an image slider at the top of the (blog) home page that show the featured images from last 5 (or some other number) of blog posts. Is this possible to create without having to manually select the images and rotate one out and the new one in each time there’s a new post?
Hi,
Our slider requires manual setup of slides. I think LayerSlider has option to pull the content from posts and pages (they recently added it), but we didn’t have chance to test it. LayerSlider is included with the theme, so you might check with them if they support it.
Qode
How do we use those flashing info boxes? “[i]”
Thanks
Hi,
This is part of our demo site. We can provide you code for that. Just email that request to support@qodeinteractive.com (and ignore auto-reply message)
Qode
How do we export theme settings?
Thanks
Hi,
Our support can explain you how to enable that. Please submit ticket to http://qode.ticksy.com/.
Qode
Are you not support?
Hi,
I am working on comments, but we have other member of our team handling support requests. Some requests require more time to handle and those are handled via support system
Qode
How can we use the search and hidden menu with it set to Left Menu? Can we add a link class to a menu item to make it work?
Thanks
Hi,
Unfortunately, that’s not possible. That’s supported only when header is positioned to the top.
Qode
Nothing is impossible. There must be a way to hack it.
Hi,
Yes, you can always edit our php code, js code and css code and do any change you want
Qode
That’s what I was asking. I know you don’t have a setting for it. This whole theme is based on conditionals. It should not be that hard to hack.
Yeah
Let us know if you have more technical question via ticksy
Hi,
It is mentioned that the latest YOAST plugin (v 5.0.5) causes some problems with Bridge. May I know exactly what is the problem and how to resolve it?
I am planning to update my YOAST plugin to v 5.0.5 and want to know what I should do after I update.
P.S. It would be helpful if you have a central page/thread in the support forum where BRIDGE buyers and your guys can post info regarding things like this and we can help one another without bothering you and leaving you to work on the more important stuff
Thanks!
Hey,
You can update the theme, we released new version yesterday with Yoast issue fixed
We will completely re-do our help desk and add many more features to it
Right now, you can use public tickets to help each others.

Hi, I’m using a blog with sidebar on my site. It seems like the content and sidebar has a max width of so much pixels. Can I have some css to adjust the max width of the blog. I would like it to be a little wider on larger screens. Thanks

Hi,
Im looking to buy this theme to start up a blog as im really impressed with all the features you have on offer.
I have no coding experience and wanted to know how easy it is for someone to customize the site with all the features on show.
I used another theme in the past which had a lot of features and was extremely easy to customize the site for someone like me with no coding experience through a drag and drop feature.
Does your theme enable this or does it require customizing the code to access all the features you have on show in the demo’s?
Hey, just replied to same comment above

Hi,
Thank you very much
Our theme is very powerful and has many features. It has easy one-click import demo content feature, which allows you to start from one of our demo sites. We can give you access to our test site, where you can test the theme before you make decision. Does that sound okay to you?
If yes, please email this request to support@qodointeractive.com (and ignore auto-reply message).

Yes that will be great thanks. I will send the email over now.
I got an automated email failure message, is that what i should ignore ?
Sorry, type mistake. Email is support@qodeinteractive.com
Is there a way to disable all the menu headers EXCEPT for the sticky header? In other words, the sticky menu header is default and all others are invisible.
Hi,
you can add the following code to your custom css field in Qode Options > General > Custom CSS:
header:not(.sticky){
display:none;
}
Just please note that then on the mobile version of your site you will not have a header at all, because the sticky header is not supported for the mobile version. If you would like to hide all headers except the sticky from the desktop version of you site, and still have the regular mobile header, you can use the following code instead:
@media only screen and (min-width: 1000px) {
header:not(.sticky) {
display: none;
}
}
Then only the sticky header will be visible on screens that are larger than 1000px, and on smaller screens the mobile header will appear.
Qode
Hi,
I am trying to add a custom section to the mobile menu. I see that you have a custom widget area for the left menu. That works fine, but does not carry over to the mobile menu. Do you have any way around this for me to be able to add a section to the mobile menu?
Thanks.
Hi,
You can enable header top area. It will also get displayed on mobile menu.
Qode
Thanks. Is there a way to make this work in a similar way with the left transparent menu? That option seems to get hidden when the left menu is turned on.

Hi, I’m having a problem when I do the Qode import. I can’t understand why, for example, when I load one of the Demo sites (I’m trying with the “Light” demo site), I always get an error with the LayerSlider WP ([LayerSliderWP] Slider not found)... it seems like it’s not imported but I’m also sure that I’ve correctly installed and activated the plugin and I always import the whole package. Can you please help me?
Hi,
You need to import the sliders for Layer Slider separately. Inside the zip file that you received on purchase, please find the “xml export” folder. Inside you should see some “LayerSlider_Export” zip files. The zip file you need for the Light Demo is called LayerSlider_Export_Bridge6.
Now to import the slider, from the back end of your site go to LayerSlider WP, and follow the steps from this screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/TyiI8QwMg2X
Then copy the shortcode of the imported sliders, go to your Home Page from the back end, and paste that shortcode into the Layer Slider or Qode Slider Shortcode field in Qode Custom Fields, and your slider should appear on your home page.

I think I found one bug with the Nivoslider. I load the picture to the galery and use Nivoslider… in the preview looks everything fine…but finished on the page the Nivoslider is away…

Hi, I can’t figure out the sizing for Layered slider. I had set up exact dimensions in the settings as I created the slider in Phtoshop. But it looks different…cut off and larger…what am I doing wrong?
Hi,
If you would like a full width Layer Slider, you need to either set your page template to full width if you are adding the slider to your page through Visual Composer, or just add the Layer Slider shortcode to the Layer Slider or Qode Slider Shortcode field in Qode Custom Fields, and then it will render at the top of the page in full width.
If you need any more assistance with this issue, please submit a ticket with a link to your website at http://qode.ticksy.com/ and our support team will take a look.
