1. Fusion Slider and revolution slider can have a video background for YT, however depending on the ratio it does not cover the background, it will have black bars. Its better to use a self hosted video for that.
2. We cannot guarantee that because we do not make those decisions, it is all done by the marketplace. Right now, that is the case, but that could also change.
3. Not at this time, each site you use it on requires a $58 single license purchase.
4. not if you are using our own options, if you change the code in anyway then yes it is possible.
5. Not at this time.
6. No each domain requires a single license.
7. What questions are not answered? We answer each and every one of them. Maybe you are seeing ones we have not got to yet, we answer them here 2X a day. our support forum is where we handle after sale support, that is worked all day long.

How do you make a menu button, so it can not be clicked on – so when you want to use your drop-down menu, you can’t push the top button?

Pre-Sales question: I have a client who wants an image slider at the top of the (blog) home page that show the featured images from last 5 (or some other number) of blog posts. Hi, how are you?
We’d be glad to purchase the theme in the event you can assure me it works with languages like Portuguese, Spanish, French and even Russian. We had the opportunity to play with this theme using the English language on a friend’s server, and when trying to use words from other languages like those I mention, we had problems displaying the characters on some specific parts of the theme, as accented words and ‘special characters’ would not be stored correctly in the database.
It is important to mention that the database is using UTF8mb4, and the MySQL server is default to UTF8mb4 as well, PHP is configured as UTF-8 compliant, and everything is properly setup. Everything works fine in the WordPress itself when it is with the theme deactivated, but when we activate it and, for example, try to load some parts of theme with special characters inserted on it, the words with accents are displayed correctly. Thereafter, I suppose it may be an issue with character encoding on the theme, as WordPress and other applications alone works fine without these issues.
Again, most of it works absolutely fine and correctly…
And it is a great theme for sure!

What may be going on? How hard would it be to fix it? Any advice on it please? Could you please share some comments on this regard in a manner we can purchase and use the theme?

The issue is with the font being used, some fonts do not support foreign characters, so this will not be an issue as long as the font you are using, supports the characters you need.
Avada can be used with any language, even RTL languages. So this will come down to the font you are using.

It seems that it was tested with pretty common fonts to the languages it was facing it: Arial, Verdana…
It does work for sure as far as I’m aware of. Since I couldn’t test it myself, I can’t tell you what was the specific portion that showed up the double-encoded and/or useless data, probably due to multibyte characters. I’ll need to ask the employee who tested it and provide you a feedback about it, to the exact point that matters – That be, where the issue is going on.
It is important to mention that, as I’m aware of, most of the things did work absolutely fine. But there was something specific that had an issue with characters. I’ll need to check what it was. In any way, those articles seems a good reference on some good practices to make all the ‘stuff’ welcome to the vast majority of the languages.
Additionally, I’d be glad to answer anything you may want to ask in a manner we test it in a better manner.
I’ll get back to you up to Saturday with more details. In this while, if I can help on something, please let me know it.
If you have some idea on what may be going on I’d welcome some advices…

Overall, if there are character issues, it is not reliant on the theme but the font that is being used. Unfortunately not all of them support all characters in all languages.

Hi, If I changed “Main Menu Font Color – First Level” to White, it also changed Side Navigation font color to White, which makes white font on white background. How can I change font color of Side Navigation? Thanks.

Where did the full width page template go in the 3.6 update? A lot of my pages are not formatting properly now?

1- On many pages, I have a long blank space at the bottom of my pages after the footer… Why is that and how can I remove it?
2- Is there a way to modify the contact form either to add field or to change label value
3- Is there a way to use modele “100% width” and “portfolio 4 columns” in same page
4- Is there a way to fix a min-height on the flipbox to have all the flip box on same line having the same height
5- The new visual builder is great, but it really miss a way to create custom blocs… Like your custom template, but only for a bloc of code and allowing it to insert at end of page instead of overwrite the full page content…
6- in visual builder, when using the +/- to enlarge column bloc. It should allow us to swith from 5/6 to full width when using the +

1. Most likely this is due to little content on those pages, the footer will adjust up if not enough content is used. What you are looking for is a sticky footer feature, which we do not have yet. We do have plans to add one in the future though, however right now it will require a custom edit on your end. http://theme-fusion.com/knowledgebase/how-to-implement-a-sticky-footer/
2. You can by editing the contact.php file. however, we do not recommend that, you can use the free Contact Form 7 plugin and build any type of form you need, then insert it on any page or post. You can build your own contact page that way with the google map shortcode and the contact form 7 form.
3. Yes, use the recent work shortcode and select 4 columns for grid or grid with excerpts layout on a 100% width page.
4. Not without a code edit, the height is based on the content you add.
5. You can insert code in the TEXT element block for now, that will work. Make sure to isenrt it in TEXT tab when editing nad not VISUAL. Also, we are adding a new element for RAW code in 3.6.2
6. Hmmm that might be possible. There is not a 1/1 column size since its not needed, you would just not use an element for that. However, the full width container is a bit different because it has an entirely different set of options with it so Im not sure about this yet. But we will check into it.

Just a quick presale question. Is there the option in woocommerce to…say I am selling a t-shirt but have the same shirt in 3 different color options. Can the buyer select what color they would like, or do I have to make 3 different product pages? Thanks for your time.

Yes most definitely, WooCommerce allows that and calls it “variable products”. You can setup any type of parameter (color, size, etc) for the buyer to select.

I’ve updated to the latest version of the theme (v3.6.1) on WordPress 4.0 and have notice that you have removed the Full Width page template. This page template was handy as you were able to use a full width container that would stretch across the entire width of the browser window while the rest of the content remained at the same width of the menu.
What in the new version would give the same effect as this? I would like the content to remain the same width as the header and footer as well as to be able to make use of full width containers.

Yes we removed it due to the new dual sidebars, but we have lost no functionality or features.
It sounds lie you are referring to the “full width” shortcode, not page template. The shortcode is still there. Anything you put inside of it will be contained to the site width setting, but the background image, color or borders on it will stretch to 100% width as long as you are using the 100% width page template.

Hello, I just purchased your theme and have NOT activated it yet. But wanted to ask a few questions in the mean time.
Q1-I noticed the demos link when looking through the samples theme and would like to know when will you have some “new demo” samples available and will they be available to import into this theme.
Q2-The header section are you able to set it to a fixed width so it doesn’t resize when scrolling.
Q3- In the revolution slider video you mentioned adding separate layers for text blocks. I would like to know can you center text in a single block of text without having to add multiple layers.

1. Currently there is the one demo you see, which can be imported in theme options. Unfortuantely we cannot give a date out yet for when the others will be ready, but I’m working on them as much as I can now. It will be some time though, we put a lot of effort into making them complete, finished sites.
2. Which header are you referring to? All sticky headers will take on the default header design as you see on the demo. That cannot be changed easily. But if you use header 1, it is an exact replica of it.
3. Yes for sure, you can do that with the layer styles or the text style you are using.

Hi, we’ve inherited a site that was built with this theme from another agency. We cannot figure out where the change the information in header-v4. It looks like the theme is heavily stripped down. We’ve updated the header-v4 file in framework/headers and framework, nothing changes. The previous agency also have got rid of the blog page template, and adding a file for the blog page doesn’t work either. The theme version is 2.1.1.

All the header options are in theme options > header, if you do not see them there then they did modify it.
However v2.1.1 is very old, os you may want to update ot v3.6 to get all the new features. I honestly do not recall if header options were added in that version.

We could potentially lose the whole site if we update it to the latest version. The header option is in theme options, but not where you can make changes. If the theme is coded to not take changes in the actual file, where does the changes occur?
This is a very tough thing to answer because a)you had a firm do custom work on it and b) its an older theme version.
By default, we include the tools you need to make any of those types of changes via theme or page options. If they have modified that, I’m afraid we will not be able to assist.
You can update, but if they did custom dev work then yes it could produce issues. If I were you, I would recommend contacting them to get this worked out. Then try to update (butmake a backup first).

Yes you need to add a custom class or id to the shortcode (both options are there) then add the custom CSS for it.
Just updated to the newest version. I was excited to see that image linking had been added to ‘image frames’. To be honest though, I was hoping you would have added the transparent rollover and link icon (in-keeping with the portfolio and blog image effects).
Is this something that is likely to be added in the future. I know it’s not essential but from an aesthetic point of view it would give the websites using Avada an extra level of consistency between blogs, portfolios and pages.

Hmm we’ve not had request for the image rollover with elements on it for image frame, but I like that idea though. There would need ot be several new params added for that since images do not have a post page, but a custom URL could be inserted.
We could definitely add the image rollover and zoom icon to open it in a lightbox, I’ll make a note for a future version on this one.
