1st – Great Theme!
I am trying to disable the Icon Box background color (just the circle background color) on hover. I have managed to change the background color of the circle that the icon is in, and I’ve changed the icon color, but can’t find the :hover background css anywhere. Is the background color (of the circle only) set by javascript?
P.S. – I’ve tried adding the following css to no avail. .dt-sc-ico-content.type4:hover .icon span{background:none repeat scroll 0% 0% #FFFFFF;}

The hover of the icon boxes comes from the file wp-content/plugins/designthemes-core-features/shortcodes/css/shortcodes.css line no: 689 (approx) . Below is the css class from which it comes.
.dt-sc-ico-content.type1:hover .icon span, .dt-sc-ico-content.type2:hover .icon span, .dt-sc-ico-content.type4:hover .icon span { transform: scale(1) rotate(360deg) translate(0px); }

That CSS only controls the rotation of the icon inside the circle. I want to turn off the background color change (or set it to a different color).
FYI – When replacing the icons with a custom icon as per your video instructions – it disables the background color change, but if I use the fontawesome icons – I can not disable the background color change effect inside the circle.

Since I updated the soul medic core plugin, it seems that my blog settings has been changed by themselves???
The author info is shown, though I DISABLED it … Why is that???
Each blog post is shown with an grey image box even there is no blog post image set… why????
how can i remove the author info and the grey image boxes in blog posts???

I have been testing in IOS the mobile site and Is impossible to navigate on the entire menu. For example if I press on the drop arrow for the last menu item SHOP. I can’t see the sub menu.

1) Just add target=”_self” in the shortcode so that the page opens in the same window and not in new window.
2) For adding custom icon instead of font awesome icon just add custom_icon=”custom_image_url” and add your custom icon url in it.
3) Add this css code to Buddha Panel -> Integration -> Custom Css, to align the content to the left.

They all work well except the last line of CSS. My website is still under construction and not live so you won’t be able to look at it..

Hi. I am still working on my new website using SoulMedic theme. In the shortcode [dt_sc_icon_box type =” type4” fontawesome_icon=’user-md’ title=’Acupuncture’ link=’#’ ], if I set link=’acupuncture’ then when click at Acupuncture text, it can navigated to the sub-webpage Acupuncture without openning a new webpage which is correct. However, in the shortcode [dt_sc_button link=”acupuncture” size=”small” target=”_blank”]View & Browse[/dt_sc_button], when click at “View & Browse”, it would open a new webpage. How can I change or set this shortcode to navigate to a sub-webpage in the same window/webpage without openning a new webpage. I want both clicking at “Acupuncture” text and clicking at “View & Browse” button would get me to the same Acupuncture webpage without openning a new webpage. Thank you!

I purchased your theme through my web developer and I’m having some issues with my Callout Box on my pages – they won’t link when you hit “Click Here”

We have fixed the issue. Kindly, have a look. For the images in the portfolio template to work, you need to add images to the featured image section.
Many thanks. However the ‘portfolio template’ only shows ‘add image portfolio’, but when I click on the ‘lightbox’ button it shows the images that are stored for all the portfolios!! Thanks Patrick
Hi… Yes in the portfolio template page, the light box will show 1 image from each portfolio items. Only in the portfolio details page or portfolio single page , all the portfolio items of that particular item will be shown. Hope it is clear….
Hello, I am using your theme with wp 4.0 and woocommerce 2.2.4 and having troubles to get the shop look like I need. My shop is currently here: http://ensenyam.com/cursos/ and any configuration I do in the buddha panel/woocommerce is not taking any effect. I have tried with woocommerce 2.2.2 and then the shop is looking ok, but in the admin panel, the products are not listed. Once I create a product, I cannot edit/delete it anymore. Please help. If you need access to my site I can provide it.

It seems that the problem is due to the wpml plugin. It seems that it is not installed or configured correctly. Can you try installing the theme in a dummy site and check the issue. Because if we deactivate WPML plugin, the page is working fine.

The very strange thing is that if I deactivate the WPML plugin I can see the portfolio items but none of them shows the image: http://www.gnatologia.org/casi-clinici-gnatologia/
But as you can see in other places the image is correctly set to the item

I’ve tried to install the theme on a dummy site and everything works fine (as it always been with this site previously)

Just to give you feedback and help others has well. The problem is that in newest version of your theme you are using the_post_thumbnail instead of an array as in previous versions.
That’s why now instead of showing the first element of the image’s array the if statement fails and shows the standard default image.
So for those having the problem simply use the portfolio featured images or else change the code

Hi can you please tell me how do I add background color to the footer? At the moment it’s transparent? I would like to either add saparate white background that is same width as the page body, or extend the body background to the end of footer. At the moment, the footer are stretched full width, and my page is boxed width. I would like to have the same background width please?

Hi,
I’ve imported demo data. On the ‘Appointments’ page, the select element displays an unwanted button on some browsers.
eg:
Chrome 37.0 (64-bit) & Opera 24.0 (normal behaviour)
Firefox 35.0
IE 11
Any idea what’s causing this and how to hide the unwanted button?
Update: I saw that the live-demo site wraps the dropdown select element with a div.selection-box so I copied the style to my CSS, hardcoded the contact form, and now it all works.
I’m using the latest theme version so this surprised me.

If you have set the blog page from Settings -> Readings -> Front page displays -> Posts page. Just remove that Posts page select box option and save the page and now check the blog page with sidebar you created. The sidebar should work now.
