In theory, any well coded plugin should work with Avada. However, the theme and plugin all have unique features and sometimes they can conflict. Most of the time, it is an easy adjustment between us or the plugin author.

Hi again. Is there a way when I have an image in “image frame” linked to a page to have a hover on that image when the mouse is on it so someone can understant that it is clicable? Do I have to choose another element? I’m trying to make my home page look like the pics in https://www.airbnb.com. Is that posible? with css? If not can you cosider it in new theme version? Thanks a lot

Currently there is not a hover effect for image frames, but this is something we can possibly add in the future. It is possible with some custom CSS as well. It would be a nice addition for sure. I’ve made a note on this for a future update, however I cannot say when that will be added but I’ve put it on our more recent feature addition list (a opposed to a general one that will take longer)

The header is overlapping the content area on pages. It looks like a margin or padding issue, but shows correctly on the shop archive page and when the sticky header displays.

Do you have transparent header selected? If so, that option is best used with a slider, or with a full width background image because the header will be pushed down to show content below it.

I do have the transparent header selected as I want it to overlap my slider, but on the other pages it’s not needed. Can I have it transparent just for that page to get rid of the problem?
Yes, in the page options you can select transparent header, which will override theme options. So you can either set it globally in theme options, and turn it off in page options for those pages, or vice versa.

I’ve just a question before deciding if upgrading to 3.6.1 from 3.5.3 in two of my clients’ websites that use Avada: if I’ve correctly understood, after the update I’ll have all the thumbnails in the portfolio page misaligned, because the featured images won’t be automatically cropped anymore to fit the thumbnail size and format. Every image in thumbnail mode will be shown entirely. Is it right? ?If so, what am I supposed to do? To uniform the height-width ratio of every featured image in Photoshop BEFORE uploading it to Wordpress? And what about all the featured images I’ve already uploaded? Will I have to reedit them all one by one in WP image editor?
I think the autocrop for thumbnails is a very saving-time option: no matter what kind of image ratio I upload (landscape, porttrait, square, etc.), it crops the image so that it fits the fixed format of thumbnail. Will there be the possibility to keep that option active after the upgrade?

Hmm not necessarily. The default setting is for “fixed” so when you update you will not see a difference in portfolio image size. You will only see the difference if you change the setting to “auto”. That setting n be set in theme options globally, page options individually, and in the recent work shortcode.
That option was added because of our new site width ability, at sizes larger than the standard 940px, auto is best to use because the cropped sizes are all made for 940px. So the larger you go, the less the cropped images will fit perfectly.
So you’re all good and nothing extra needs to be done if you keep the same site width, or even something close, like 1000px.

Also, is there a way of making the menu have a semi-transparent background when the slider images come behind the menu? I don’t want it to be fully transparent.

That is the revolution slider. Currently there is not an option for a semi-transparent header, however we do have plans to add this to the theme, and I’m trying for sooner rather than later
We answer threads in the order they were received on our support forum. Reply times can take up to 24 hours Mon-Fri but are usually much faster than that. Make sure you do not reply back to the thread before we do (bump) as it will reset the time on it.

There is not a conversion method for FS to rev slider, you will need to build the slider new in Rev Slider. But since the FS is onyl an image or video with text, it should not take too long.

For the slider behind the menu, you need to choose “transparent” header for that page. Look in the page options in the header panel. Or you can do it globally in theme options, however that option only looks good if you have a slider on each page, so the page option is usually best to sue.
Full width is chosen in the slider settings.

I love the theme! I noticed you can go to settings – Simple Social Buttons – Settings:and check the ones you want to display on your pages, post and place them after the content or before the content.I would like to place them in the header. Is that possible? and if it is possible would I need to save a copy of the code when I update the theme?

The best thing to do is use the full width mega menu, if you do not sue that then the columns are auto calculated based off a 6 column setup. Is there an easy way to remove the line on top of the main menu items? http://nl.tinypic.com/r/23ml93d/8I prebably have to go into -> Appearance -> Editor -> Stylesheet, but I rather not play with the code.
I can change the color -> Theme options -> Styling -> Main Menu Font Hover Color – First Level. Controls the main menu hover, hover border & dropdown border color.
But I only want the hover border to disappear.
Anyway is there an easy way?

There is not an option to hide it, the color setting will change the text also.
Hmmm, maybe we can add a new setting for this to control wether or not the top border is shown. I ‘ll make a note. For now, it will take custom CSS, but you do not need to edit the stylesheet, put the custom CSS in theme options > css field. That will not be overwritten or changed when you update.

I am having trouble with the responsiveness of the rotator on this theme. I’m using the revolution slider. I styled buttons that are included in the rotator slide and they are not resizing when the screen is reduced. The general placement of the text is also off.
Is there a way to allow the buttons to resize with the browser window? Also for the buttons & Text to not shift when reduced?

The rev slider is fully responsive and adjust automatically. However this setup you have requires them to be in an exact spot at all sizes, that is going to be difficult because of the auto resizing. Hmmm … try to use one of the default rev slider buttons instead of our button shortcode to see if that makes a difference. http://d.pr/i/1a8OJ
If it does not, then I would recommend asking the rev slider devs if there is a way around this because I do not see an option for that in their settings. They do have options to hide a layer at certain sizes, so maybe that could work for you if the buttons cannot stay in the same spot all the time. http://d.pr/i/18yRI

That error seems to be related to woocommerce, you amy be on an earlier version of Avada and need to update. Make sure you are up to date with Avada and WooCommerce.

The issue is not the theme, it is your 100% your content. We have discussed this with you several times before. Please listen to our advice on this, we know what we are talking about.
Your content is huge in size, that is why it is loading so slow. The weight of the main page of your site is about 11.5mb, it should be much, much lower than that.
Our live demo that has even more images and content on the home page than yours, is a fraction of the size at about 4MB. Even if you used the default 2014 theme with your exact content it would be very slow loading. The weight of the image files on your site can be reduced by a factor of 10 without sacrificing quality. And the site will become more user friendly.

I sampled 3 images out of your main slider, and each one is about 400KB in size. Those 3 image themselves are over 1MB total, that is extremely large for 3 images. This one image itself: http://d.pr/i/nMts is almost 700kb by itself. It should be less than 100kb.Here is a size report from Pingdom:

You are partly right. However, this does not explain why the administration pages http://dobrotaprozdravi.cz load slowly as well and why there appears message: “Web page not responding” or “ongoing script stops web page”
That is not from our theme, I assure you. Test our live demo to see, any page will not do that.
You either have a server issue going on, or a configuration issue. I would first recommend disabling your 3rd party plugins to see if that helps, and in addition, contact your host and explain what is going on. That is not normal, and is caused by one of those things.
Pre purchase question, I would like to use the Shop section of your theme. Is there a way to change the language of all the keywords to Dutch manually or anything?
And would it be possible to remove the shipping address step in the checkout page, turn it into an option or something on the billing page instead, an option to ship to another address than the billing address? Or would that be impossible
Andd, is it also possible to use the revolution slider on top of the products in full width?

The entire theme can be translated into your language. It is not a one click change, but we have documentation on how to do that and also include language files, including Dutch
Hmmm … The shipping address and setup of the shop comes directly from WooCommerce plugin. They do offer options for certain things, but anything outside of that would require customization. I would recommend checking out WooCommerce plugin and options to see if it can do what you need.

Strange as we do not experienced that bug and have not seen reports of it. Never the less, we will include it in the next theme update for certain. Also, due to how the licensing rules work, themes have to issue a theme update to get a plugin update, but each user can purchase a single copy of the plugin update to get auto updates from that plugin. We’ve discussed with the plugin devs and Envato about this topic, with the hopes of allowing our users to get auto updates without a theme update. The current system is not the best because it forces us to release a quick update for one plugin, which is detrimental to our update process. Hopefully that will change soon making it easier for these situations.
