Hello.
I would very gladly buy the X, but I need to make sure that one thing connected with googleanalytics (that did not work with optimizepress) would work with your theme.
Now I know that I will be able to paste my googleanalytics tag into the website, but what I want to know is:
Will I be able to use event tracking and all functionalities of googletagmanager? For example, will I see clicks on each element of the page (by using onClick=”_gaq.push code for example)?
I was using optimizepress until now, and even though normal analytics code was working properly and I could see basic stats of the page, I could not track clicks.
If X doesn’t have this problem, I would be more than happy to use it.

X is 100% compatible with Google Analytics, and offers a place to put the standard tracking code. We don’t extend that functionality further into event tracking. Most themes don’t, as this is “pure functionality” which is best handled by a plugin. You may want to check out this one. It’s a great addition to X when it comes to adding additional tracking metrics.

We do provide demo content (in our member center) and PSD files (to help with some graphic design elements). Icon wise, we have hundreds of icon fonts integrated into the theme via FontAwesome that you can see demoed here.

The provided Photoshop files are simply design resources that are made available to our customers to use as needed (if familiar with Photoshop) in the design process. They are not meant to be used per say in the theme, just an extra design resource should you need the resources included in mocking up graphics, etc.

Hi, I got the X theme because my client wanted the Renew 1 stack, and for the life of me I can’t figure out how to change the color of the header. Simple text header, but need to change out the black. Simple thing like that must obvious somewhere…and the color of the top bar too…there are no settings in the customizer. Certainly they’re somewhere I’m just missing them. Thanks

Those settings are under the Renew dropdown in the Customizer. Thanks for your quick reply! Yep, did all that stuff you mentioned above. I meant changing the color without entering CSS. Not to be found…yet. Still digging my way through the docs. It’s not in the customizer. Seems such a simple thing. Thanks.
As was said above, changing the background color of the header in Renew is done under Renew in the Customizer when that Stack is selected, specifically Renew > Design Options > Navbar Background. You do not need to enter any CSS to do this.
Aha..I thought Nav Bar Background was just the menu bar background. Thanks again! Your prompt replies here helps make the X theme truly great.

No. We have our own demos and the Showcase examples can be found in the destinations above. We have picked a few of our favorites and emailed those to a few people upon request (which we’d be happy to do if you contact us, however the majority of them are shared in the links above).
Hi, I’m very impressed with this theme and have a question. Within one site, would I be able to have a launch page with one layout, and then, depending on what link is selected, will go to 1 of 2 interior sites. Essentially, I want to divide my site into my art, and my client graphic design work. Both sides will be similar but have slightly differences like logo and colours and backgrounds etc.
And I’d like this to all be one Wordpress install, not two installs.

Just want to be sure about blogging features before I buy this theme. I want to be able to display blog posts and VC elements on the same page.
I like to display blog excerpts on my homepage and also to use the masonry grid. But some users in this forum seem to have difficulties with exactly these issues.
The integration of blog features with homepage is quite essential to me so I don’t want to much trouble with it. Can you give me some more info about this?

Perhaps you can elaborate on this a bit more, but is sounds like what you’re describing is something that is easily achievable and is on display for our Integrity 1 blog demo, which you can see here: http://theme.co/x/demo/integrity/1/blog/
Notice that the masonry layout is in use and the excerpt for posts is being used.
As far as using shortcodes inside of an excerpt on the blog index for example, this is a WordPress nuance and is not something that is possible with currently with WordPress. Shortcodes can be used when WordPress is outputting it’s the_content() function, but not the_excerpt().

Hello, on the integrity stack, When adding recent posts to a page other than the blog page using visual composer, how do we get it to show the post excerpt or a summary of the post rather than just displaying the title and date?
I know there is an option to disable the featured image, however there is no option to show an excerpt or summary.
Can you please help, this is the only thing I am missing. Thanks.
Quick question about X. I want to buy this theme because it is so customize able. Is it possible to do a one page type layout with this theme? Where there is individual “boxes” stacked on top of one another to make up the full page. Like the main picture. Then as you scroll down info about the site, then the next ‘box’ contains the price tables and maybe the next is a parallax with some words, and the next is a box with a button for contact. I’m sure as a theme developer you know what style I am talking about since it is everywhere. Thanks in advance.

You can definitely do a one page style site (all of the 02 demos for each Stack are one page examples). There are a couple examples in our demos that look like what you are describing (minus putting a pricing table in there which are not in the demos but certainly possible).
Be sure to check out all of the features for more information and definitely all the demos as well.

Is it possible to create a page that does not contain a navigation menu? I want to create a landing page for a product that I’m selling, but I didn’t see an example like that in any of the demo pages that you guys have listed.

Contact form 7 is missing in the installation.
Contact Form 7 is a separate plugin that you are prompted to install on installation or you can simply download it from the plugin repository and install it (either manually or automatically).
It does not update, or initiate that prompt, either manually or automatically.
Our apologies, we recently removed it from the initial prompt upon activating the theme to streamline things for our new users. You can download Contact Form 7 from the WordPress plugins repository and install it manually, or search for it under the “Plugins” menu item in WordPress and install it from that interface. After that, the plugin will be managed all on its own through the WordPress plugin repository as that is managed by the plugin author.
Additionally, we provide all of our official support via the forum in our member center. If you have not done so yet, please register for access and direct any future questions you might have to the forum where one of our staff will be more than happy to assist you.

I have bought this Theme and I love it!! But I have one problem… I sue the Ethos Theme but there is NO menu button when I open my homepage with my smartphone. (www.die-fotolounge.de) HOW CAN I MAKE THE MENU VISIBLE ?

Images are based on the size of your site settings in the Customizer (short answer), however the best thing to do with responsive themes such as X is to keep your images as large (dimension wise) as possible due to the many potential devices your images may be shown on.
