Hi, it seems after updating, the background color on containers has error. Every time I update it, the color changed to a word “no”. This word seems to be around all my existing containers and newly added ones.
Kindly fix it asap.

Hello, Great theme! I have a question about the accordion. When I have an accordion open, and I scroll down to open another tab, that next tab doesn’t open at the top where the tab title is. Is there a way to make it so that you automatically get scrolled to the top to the opened accordion tab? Let me know, thanks!

Hmmm well typically it will do that, but if you have a lot of content in that one accordion section, then it will not adjust perfectly as you mentioned. There is not way to do that at this time.

Hi, Love this theme and have used it for many websites. I need help adding padding in the right sidebar. I’ve adjusted the content/sidebar percentages but this doesn’t give me extra padding. A calendar plugin I’m using in the sidebar extends all the way to the edges and looks horrible. Is there something simple I can add to custom CSS? Please help.

Regular bullet points should change color with the text. Highlight the text and change the color of it in WP editor.

grat theme!
we work with it (version 3.6) on 3 of our customers projects.The only issue we have is on the main menu sublevel dropdowns..
The problem is : the main menu sublevel (dropdown) background layer is wider than the main menu background hover color layer.
We find no settings to fix this.

Okay, I spent hours figuring how to use one of your shortcode to get it to work something I wanted without third party or custom work. It seems to be working. Take a look at:

When I put a flipbox and I want to change the text size like H2, H3, H4 on the visual text area in “Flip Box Frontside Heading” and “Flip Box Backside Heading” I can’t open the drop down menu, is like bugged.

That is working for me on our end. However I will say that the heading fields in flip box are only suppose to be regular fields, not a full editor field to allow to choose items like that. That was a mistake on our end and it will be changed soon. But the heading dropdown does work for us. If its not for you, just wrap the text in the heading tag

The button to add shortcodes in the visual area is not working too, when I click it doesn’t appear. Is the same thing that you will work on?
I’m not able to reproduce that either. You may have a 3rd party plugin causing issues. Try to disable them to see.

I have searched through your forums as well as documentation finally ending up rather confused about one seemingly easy yet fundamental issue…
In short – I am working on web site project which is in GERMAN and am wondering what is the best (and easiest!?) way of translating theme’s default messages and buttons such as:
“loading portfolio items”
“read more”
“Share This Story, Choose Your Platform! “
“leave a comment”
“post a comment” button
etc… etc…
Also, my client will most probably go bilingual site option in few months time adding English language which means that everything we translate now should be reversible one we add WPML to the site.
It would be great if I could get clear answer together with some basic instructions.

Hi, I have a problem with my thumbnails size. i’ve tried to regenarte thumbnails (with plugin) several times but nothing happens… i also followed your instructions and changed dimentions on woocommerce settings.

What is the issue you are having to begin with? Are the images not the right size? The regen thumbs should work but maybe you have cache that is causing it to not take affect. Make sure to clear the cache from browser and any plugin you are using, and you may also have server cache too.

Hi there! Beautiful theme! (And the popularity speaks for itself.)
How much can you customize the blog area? For example, can we make the entire featured image clickable instead of having the hover action with the magnifying glass and link icon? Also, can we disable the category icons under the post dates? (The image, gallery, video icons, etc.)
With the page builder, can we choose exactly how we want to set our homepage? We’d like to feature the blog with large featured images (probably the Large Alternate Right) beneath a homepage slider. Similar to Home Blog Style 2 but with a bunch of different styles and options.

Also, just thought of another question. Speed and performance is incredibly important to us (as I’m sure it is to everyone.) Is there any sort of analysis of this theme’s load speed and performance?
I’ve heard mixed reviews in regards to themes that have tons of options and choices. The various options are definitely why we are interested in Avada but we wouldn’t want to be harming the user experience in the process.
Last (and I apologize for the long list of questions), does the search have an instant results feature?

You can turn off the image hover effect on the blog images so the whole item links to the post page. Yes you can also disable the icons, title or categories that show there.
Yes you can build your own page like that, the ones we show on our demo are just samples of what can be done, and are also used for a faster setup for some buyers. But you can use ours, customize them, combine or build your own
For performance, this is something we always keep in mind and improve whenever possible. Gotcha. Well I definitely think it would be an amazing feature to add as people seem to love it on our other sites. It makes searching a lot more fun and even seems to increase exploration as results (with images) pop up while users type allowing them to see things that they may not have been searching for in the first place but might find interesting anyway.

Hi, Just wondering what you guys would recommend for Content and Image Protection. Have tried various free versions and they don’t seem to work on Android devices [Internet Explorer] or the disable right click function interferes with the modern mobile drop down menu.

Hmm we’ve not thought about this from a standpoint of adding it to the theme as this type of feature is always best in a plugin. Iv’e seen several different ones used with Avada, but the sad side of this is no matter what is done, it is easy to grab images off a site even with them protected. I’m not saying its not worth it, we definitely understand the need. I have recently noticed that Google is picking up the date for all of my pages which is not what I would like. Even my static homepage looks like this in search results: September 2, 2014 – blah blah blah yadda yadda…
I would like to disable it for all pages. All of them! It’s not a big deal if blog pages have a date but I would just prefer to erase the date from appearing for all pages and blog posts in search results.
I have combed through the hundreds of Avada theme options and disabled date options wherever I see them.
I combed through the head of my homepage to see where Google could possibly be seeing a date and I believe I’ve found it. I’m guessing Google is finding the date from this tag:<meta property="article:published_time" content="2013-11-08T02:23:36+00:00"> <meta property="article:modified_time" content="2014-09-11T10:33:50+00:00">
I have disabled date meta in Avada theme options wherever I see it. How do I get rid of these meta tags? I don’t have this issue with any of my other WordPress websites. Why would these meta tags be added to pages (not posts)?

Hey thanks for the support. I just thought I would post the solution here if anyone else was having issues. It was Yoast SEO Plugin’s “Add Open Graph meta data” option. It needs to be unchecked. I didn’t think open graph data would add a date. Hopefully this removes the date snippit!
