I am seriously thinking about purchasing your theme because the other theme I purchased is not even functioning correctly and their plug-ins are giving a fatal error on my site when activated. I have a few pre-purchase questions but what an amazing design.
I am a comedian so I will design it to look like a performer site/band theme. I will be using a tour date plug-in called Gig Press most likely. I am curious if I would be able to use the Accordion shortcode inside their custom css of that plug-in or even somehow within it in some other way to toggle a more info link?
Can I make a secondary navigation bar above the header for additional links to my press packet? Is the main navigation somthing I can customize to give a gap between my banner/logo?
Does X work well with other 3rd party plug-ins like Power Press or Twitter feeds and an instagram feed?

Our Shortcodes will not interact with other 3rd party plugins as they are meant for functionality within X.
Our policy related to 3rd party plugins is that unless they are integrated into the theme in some way (Revolution Slider, Gravity Forms, Visual Composer, etc) then we do not provide support for them. The implementation, customization, and troubleshooting of any issues that may arise are the customers responsibility. Technically speaking, since X was developed according to development best practices, any well developed 3rd party plugin should play nicely with X, however due to the virtually limitless nature of things that can and often times do go wrong with software, we can’t support something that we have not first developed or integrated into the theme.
There is an optional secondary header area we call TopBar that you can activate and place things like text, links, or social icons.

Hi I am using revolution slider, I made a slide with a button in one of the layers. Now when the page loads, there are buttons all around the page! How can I solve this problem? And slider admin area doesn’t work properly, it disappears!

Want to know if you know what I did wrong that the portfolio isn’t working? It seems like the individual items can be displayed but the portfolio page is not there.
Also Want to know it’s possible to show a section of the portfolio on the homepage? Also if it’s possible to do the same thing with blogs? A preview of the blog post. I am on Renew 4… Say it on other versions?

I saw all the stacks and demos, and while I love the flexibility I didn’t see exactly what I was looking for. Specifically, I’m looking for a navigation menu that is not completely at the top of the page, with room for the logo and other stuff. Here’s an example: https://www.upbnk.com/ I’m talking about the way from top to bottom, it goes logo, then navigation menu.
Is that something we can do through X, or would I need to find a different theme?

Thanks for the kind words! While anything is possible with the right customizations, the demos give an example of what is possible out of the box. For any certain functionality beyond that, you would need to customize the functionality to your needs. Header wise in X you can have the header area fixed or static top, fixed left, or fixed right. You can center the logo navigation, or you can keep it standard. Certain Stacks have certain design features which you can read about by clicking on Integrity Features, Renew Features, Icon Features, and Ethos Features in the Demos section.

You can use one of our blank templates and layout anything you wish. There is not an option in the theme to chose a language, so you will need to look into a 3rd party solution or custom code for that.

I am having an issue getting demo content (not content, but images and colors etc) to load in ethos. I have registered and taken the tutorial, but concerned that my Theme co username might need to be the same as my Wordpress Admin username. Is this the case? If so, how can I reset the Theme co username? Please help.
No, that is not the case. Your account at our member center is totally separate from what you setup for your WordPress install (unless you used the same information). If you are having trouble logging into your Themeco member center account, you can contact us with your name, email, and username and the new information you would like it updated with – we can take care of it.

Hi, I’m wanting to use the X theme for a new restaurant website, just wondering if I can have a one page site with a menu that stays at the top and maybe with the logo in the middle? Any help would be much appreciated!

You can certainly have a fixed top navigation, however aside from the optional header widget drawer there is no other visible real estate that can stay fixed at the top. You could add some custom code to keep the header widget bar open and place your menu in there.
To see an example of the header widget drawer, head on over to this demo and you’ll see the little plus sign in the upper right corner.

If by inner color you mean the background color of the header area (currently navy blue), absolutely! You can set a logo for the image, but not for the background of the header area. You can set a image or texture for the background of the site.

there is just question i have: I’m looking to upload a video as a background, but as far as I can see the URL link only lets you upload one format. I wish to upload multiple formats so the video is compatible across the variety of browsers available.
please could you let me know how I could go about doing this?

Just to be clear of my statement: This Visual composer will only allow me to upload one pathway which can only contain one format.

Anything is possible with the right customizations, however the Demos and Features Section explain what is possible feature-wise out of the box. Anything beyond that would require some custom development or 3rd party solutions two things that we regretfully can not give estimates on as it is outside the scope of the theme.

Does your forms integration support wufoo? I dont want to have to use the preset styles that come with wufoo, id rather it take on the form styling of the theme.
