It is always possible to switch from one theme to another as both are WordPress themes. There will be unique considerations and some things that need updating dependent upon the level of customization you did in the existing theme, however from a WordPress perspective, changing themes is a click of a mouse.

WooCommerce is not customized that way. You are welcome to extend the functionality of WooCommerce with custom fields and other elements however it is not done via a drag/drop feature. Since WooCommerce is a 3rd party plugin, I would suggest checking out their site and speaking with their team about any specifics related to customizing the plugin.

There is not an option to create an icon in a theme as that is not what you do in a theme, however you can use one of the integrated FontAwesome Icons as shown here in your theme.

If you are looking for a membership solution, you will need to investigate some of the many 3rd party membership solutions out there as that sort of functionality goes far beyond a theme. For simple protection of certain pages, we do have a Shortcode called Protected Content.

Our policy related to 3rd party plugins is that unless they are integrated into the theme in some way (Revolution Slider, Gravity Forms, etc) then we can not provide support or guarantee compatibility for them. The implementation, customization, and troubleshooting of any issues that may arise are the customers responsibility. Technically speaking, since X was developed according to development best practices, any well developed 3rd party plugin should play nicely with X, however due to the virtually limitless nature of things that can and often times do go wrong with software, we can’t support something that we have not first developed or integrated into the theme.
Loving the theme so far! I’m coming from straight-up coding and a Wordpress newbie, but this is working great, even with a little CSS digging!
Two quick questions: -With the Renew stack, is it possible to replace the solid color header/nav bar background with an image? I have one that is meant to go underneath both the logo & the nav bar. -Is there a way to disable the links to parent items in a drop down? I have 5 items under a “Who We Are” item on the main menu, but I don’t want there to be a “Who We Are” page, just be a stand-in for the others to be under it.

Regarding your questions, there is not an option out of the box to add a background image to the header/nav area in Renew. When using Integrity, you can set the header area to be transparent and have a background image for the page show through but that is the closest without having to customize a bit. My pleasure We have an Audio Shortcode that can be used somewhere on the page. Out of the box, that is the closest option.

I imported the Demo content before starting my website. Now, no matter the changes I made to the footer area, widget inclusive. They won’t show up. The Powered By Wordpress footer shows up in all my pages. I have tried every trick I know but I’ve been unable to remove it. Remove every wp-footer.php content of the ethos stack, no luck.

We provide our customers an option to add a video header option (like in the Integrity 01 demo) in conjunction with Slider Revolution. You can also add a video as a background to a band (one per page) as you can see demoed here.

Does X offer the ability to have two menus in the header (A menu in the primary navigation area and a secondary menu in the header toolbar)? In other words, can I have a main menu (my primary navigation) for menu items like:
Home About Blog Contact
...and above that, in the header toolbar, can I have a second menu for items like:
Login / Register / Edit Profile

You have a couple options to achieve this.
1) We have an optional TopBar that you can activate (seen demoed here where you see the Other | Info | Can | Go | Up | Here) that can be used for placing links like you mentioned.
2) You also have the option to create an unlimited amount of menus and place them on different pages as we have done on here. The menu in the sidebar is a custom menu that is set to only show on the Shortcodes parent page and all child pages under the Shortcodes parent.

It sounds like you are trying to install the wrong file. Please be sure to install only the theme files (not the all files download from ThemeForest). My client has a running website, wich I am creating a new design for. His current site should stay online until my work with X is finished. My question: If I buy one license registered to my clients domain, can I install X on another server for development and then again on my clients server when it is finished?

Yes, a single license can be used in a development environment before being moved to the production server, then you could simply re-purchase another license for each unique site that is going to use X.

Here is what I plan to do: My clients current WordPress site has the name (for example) “clientdomain.com” and should be online until my work is finished. So for development I now created a new domain “clientdomain-test.com” so that I can run a second WordPress site where I will install X and built the new website. When finished I want to install X on the official domain “clientdomain.com” and rebuilt my draft. Did I understand correctly that have to buy only one license? What did you mean with “re-purchase”? Yes, one license would be sufficient. You can only have one active Themeco API key per license purchased and registered in our member center.

So. I bought this theme nearly six months ago, and due to an unforeseen delay in launching my new company, I am just getting started with it.
I am a completely self-taught (and by Grace, successful) Graphic/Web Designer for over 20 years. Everything I know and can do has been taught by people who share their knowledge and experience via the internet in a free or reasonably priced manner.
In all my time, I have never, ever, found a tool that provides a more educational, functional and intuitive experience for the price of two weeks of Starbucks.
As I strive to offer a similar experience to people by working with my company, I have added Themeco as a new role model to my list.

We are having an issue with the responsive menu. When clicked the menu drops down, then disappears. (happens on mobile (tested on android), plus on resized desktop browsers)
Is this a known issue or do you think its got to do with some javascript conflict?

Hi, I fixed an error for you guys on the file class-update-api.php! It was giving me a Fatal error: Cannot use object of type WP_Error as array on line 87. So I couldn’t go to the plugins or update page inside Wordpress. I read around that the problem is caused by too many API calls? Here’s my fix:
Change line 84 $request = wp_remote_get( $url );
To $request = (array)wp_remote_request($url, $args);

We provide home page demo content for our demos in our member center (the demos listed in the Demo section of theme.co/x/) as well as video tutorials on how to install/set them up. We also provide a Customizer import file so you can instantly recreate the settings configured in the Customizer for each install.
