Since we bought an extended license for Visual Composer, we can’t give you purchase code of this plugin because of policy and terms of Theme Forest. We use a custom version of Visual Composer in our theme and we update Visual Composer through our theme updates when necessary, so please wait for future theme release.

I just purchased Subway and I think it will be quite good in the long run. I have reviewed the documentation and it could be much improved for beginners to moderate level users. It’s mostly a list of the functions available. I do have a problem with the widgets and I posted a ticket on their support website. It’s been 2 days, no response so far.

The theme works great. I have end the project but when I introduce Html code in any widget it disappears. I have deleted all inactive widgets in case they create some conflict, but nothing happens. What can I do? Thanks in advance!

Please make sure that you are adding a text widget to your widget area and then adding the html code inside this text widget.

Hello!
The theme does not come with the demo content and it is impossible to download it from your site. I have the subway theme and each time I attempt to download the content it hangs up my server. I am using godaddy and they are unable to do anything. Can you please include the demo content in the theme the same way all the other authors do it. I see many people have the same issue as I do and you recommend putting the problem on the host. Your theme is the only theme that requires the author to login to your site to upload the files or blame it on the host. Please include the files or give me a refund. Many people have the same problem so please include the demo content in the theme download versus having us with themes that are broken. Thank you.

Our theme comes with demo content, as any other theme on the market. You can find in our documentation instructions on importing. Please go to your Downloads page at ThemeForest and download All files & documentation from there. If you have any problem with importing it, just submit ticket to http://qode.ticksy.com/ and include WP admin access.

Hi, after released new version of Visual Composer i can’t use it to compose page, a blank page show on top of visualcomposer said :
Your page layout was created with previous Visual Composer version. Before converting your layout to the new version, make sure to read this page.

Since we use a custom version of the Visual Composer plugin, you should use the version which is packed with our theme so as to avoid compatibility issues. To revert back to the supported version of Visual Composer, please follow these steps:
1. Download latest All files & documentation file from ThemeForest (your Downloads page) 2. Extract it and locate subway.zip
3. Extract subway.zip and locate subway folder
4. Copy/Replace the content of subway folder to /wp-content/themes/subway folder of your web site.
5. Delete following folders on your server: /wp-content/themes/subway/wpbakery and /wp-content/themes/subway/extendvc/vc_templates/
6. Install Visual Composer plugin directly from WP Dashboard, as it will report missing required plugin (in case you are using child theme, you need to have main theme active while you do this, then you can re-activate child theme again). You can also install it manually from /subway/plugins folder.
Please note that Subway is using custom version of Visual Composer plugin and you need to use plugin included with the theme. We just updated it to version 4.1.2 and added our custom work to this version.

After try and retry, i have found that nested layout using icon with long text crash.I will find another solution.The version is the same, i can’t update this plugin because i havent’ any licence code

Regarding the purchase code, since we bought an extended licence for Visual Composer, we can’t provide a purchase code for this plugin because of policy and terms of Themeforest, but we distribute a licensed version of the plugin with our theme. So, if you update the theme and install Visual Composer following the steps above, you should get the latest supported version of Visual Composer for your theme.

Your contact form does not give an option to add a required phone number field, website field is most of the time not needed.

You can solve this by either changing the website field to phone number field if you don’t need it, or by creating a custom contact form using some plugin like Contact Form 7 and putting it on some page.
If you would like to change the website field to read “Phone no.”, you can do this using the Codestyling Localization plugin.
After you install it, go to Tools > Localization and there choose the Themes tab. Click on the edit button beside the language and there you will find a list of words you can translate/change. Select the non-case sensitive check-box and then search the word you want to translate/change. After finishing all your edits, click the generate mo-file button and you will have added the changes.

I know I can install contact form 7 but it does not look as good. And why install a plugin when the theme has its own email? Just wish there was an easier option or that phone would be included as it is usually part of the basics included on a mail form. But thanks anyway.

Is it possible to import your demo content as a starting point for this theme?
Hi,
Yes, you can import the demo content by going to Tools > Import and then selecting WordPress. Then click on choose file, and inside the zip file you received on purchase go to xml export and select the subway.wordpress xml file and then click upload file and import. Then on the next screen make sure to select the “Download and import file attachments” checkbox and click Submit and wait for the import to finish.

Thank you it was helpful. But it didn’t full import. The result screen said Failed to Import for the bulk of the files. None of the pages or posts made it successfully.
