How do you make the background for outer areas in boxed mode to be “fixed” so that it won’t scroll when the page does. I do not see the option anywhere.
If you set the image to be 100% it will be fixed, its this option: http://d.pr/i/10SyH
But if you are using a smaller image that is repeated, there is not an option for it to be fixed.

Love the new Agency style demo! I’ve got to ask… and I know timelines aren’t really to be given out any longer but, when will other new demo styles be included and what kind of look/style might they possibly be? Thanks for everything – Avada is my favorite theme!

Currently I’m working on updating a lot of the shortcode pages on the Classic demo, many of them have been neglected and do not show all the features.
But at the same time we’re also building the next set of new demos, eventually we will have many. The next few ones will probably be restaurant, photography, fashion, woocommerce. I would say the next completed demo will be done in a few weeks to a month and we will be getting them done faster after that. It will be a constant process like our updates are. Avada is so versatile and we want to show that in all these new demos.

Yes, you can do so using Woocommerce. We have full integration for it.

You can download them but will need access to their account here on Themeforest. Once you get it, you can download the latest files then also setup the auto updater via theme options so future updates can all be done via WP admin.

I have got a few questions for a new project with avada:
1. I would like to create a site which looks in general like this one: http://www.garybarlow.com is this possible? I would really appreciate the thing with the menu
2. Please click also a bit through this site: http://www.markowenofficial.com I really like this minimalistic look and the pop ups
Maybe that would be something nice for new demos, the first is nearly like the agency thing, but the opportunity with the menu would be fantastic

1. Cool site! The menu will not be able to be hidden yet though with Avada. We did just introduce side headers though, view a sample here http://theme-fusion.com/avada_demos/agency/
But the menu is always visible. We will be adding a feature though to completely hide the header/menu and activated with a toggle. But that will come in a future release which I could not give a timeframe for at this point.
2. Nice … this is pretty different though than our setup. You could use modals for the popups though and could hide the main header and only use a footer menu or copyright bar, but it would take customization to get the bottom menu just like that

1. Yes it could, you can use bbPress for a forum support site, but if this is purely for that purpose I would recommend a theme that specializes in that sort of thing.
2. You can use it on two sites but it would require two licenses if they are two different domains/content. I think its possible to pull results form two sites, but that would take custom work or a dedicated plugin.

Hmm I’m not 100 % sure but I think you can, we currently use prettyPhoto lightbox http://www.no-margin-for-errors.com/projects/prettyphoto-jquery-lightbox-clone/#prettyPhoto
And yes I’ve seen other users who use JWPlayer plugin, we have not tested it ourselves but I’ve not seen any reports of issues. If an issue does arise, we ask that you contact the plugin developer to see if it is a known issue with themes and if there is a resolution. And you can post on our support forum with any details and we can check it out and see if we can resolve it. A majority of the time it is something minor that can be changed.

this is a great theme, but the fusion builder doesn’t work when the site is transferred from local host to a server, it would not save any content. it also, shows a blank area in the wordpress admin. edit page section instead of showing the current page layout. but if i revert back to wordpress editor all the content/shortcodes are visible, i think this is a typical javascript issue. please advice at the earliest.

There may either be a missing file, corrupt file or something different with the live server config. The builder will work on any local or live server.

Hi Guys, I’m about to make another theme purchase, but a couple questions. 1. Do you know of a plugin that works well with Avada for displaying a EU cookie notification in a site matched forma? 2. Do you know of a plugin that will display a site wide notification banner that works well with Avada? I know if woocommerce is activated that site notification can be applied but this project won’t need the woocommerce element activated. Thanks, hope to hear back soon.

As for formatting of it, the styles will be used from the plugin itself, but a little custom CSS can go a long way to help it fit in with the theme.
2. Shoot I’m 0 for 2! I do not know one off hand but I have seen users who use these: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-notification-bar/ and https://wordpress.org/plugins/wpfront-notification-bar/

For the member access and member features like uploading a portfolio to sell, you will need to use some kind of membership plugin. There are lots of them out there with varying features, I would recommend searching for them and finding the one that fully suits your needs. Pretty much any theme you will find to buy (besides a specific membership theme) will not have this type of feature built in, they rely on 3rd party plugins to achieve it.

I have 3 different portfolio pages with 1 category to display on each. When I browse the pages with previous / next pagination the post are not only the ones of the selected category.
They jump between the different categories. Every page are set with a different chosen category…
What I’m doing wrong?

Hmmm the single post pages will still navigate through all posts, not just posts from one category. The single or multiple categories you can assign to a page so only those posts show, is separate from the single post page. The single post page is like a blog post, once you are there it will navigate through all the posts in date order.
This is a very valid point though and would be a nice addition to the theme to be able to control what navigates on the single post page. I’ve added a note about this and will discuss it with our dev team for a future release.

Hi, I absolutely love your theme. Some pre-purchase questions though. Does the theme enables banner space above the header category tabs to act as advertisement banners in the home page? And are there any demo homepages to suggest where we can place the banners for advertisements?

Ah you need to go to theme options > extra tab and change the excerpt from words to characters. http://d.pr/i/rrvY
